I anxiously arrived to the Parson street location on 12/19/21 at 9:15 am. I was seated immediately. I was a little concerned about the restaurant not enforcing socially distancing. I ordered "sloppy seconds" with French toast on the side, and had I known that the food would live up to it's name, I would have ordered coffee only. My French toast was under cooked, so I stuck to eating the edges only. My bacon was fried hard and delivered at room temp. My eggs were so cold that the cheese on top was frost bitten. The worst part of my meal, that I did report to the waitress was the potato's. All except three were burnt to a crisp....I informed the waitress that they were not edible and she did replace them with some fresh cold potato's. Came here on a Sunday which wasn't a big deal. It was a line and they looked packed but only a 15 minute wait and it actually didn't feel that long. The food for me was meh. So glad I finally made it here! I came late in the day for them (a little after 2 and they close at 3). They weren't super busy but had a decent crowd. Servers were super nice and not pushy even though it was nearing closing time. Food came out super quick and it was delicious! They also have $5 Bloody Marys and Mimosas - definitely grabbing some of those next time! They have a pretty diverse menu and offer something for everyone. Usually love this place but i had terrible service my last visit i didnt even get to eat. My and my friend arrive, and are told a 10 minute wait, that one group is ahead of us. sure, thats no issue at all. 10 minutes later we are told itll be 20 minutes. A new group shows up while we are continuing our wait. The hostess comes out and tells us that they are cleaning off this table infront of us and then we can be seated. We watch them clean the table off, then give it to the group that came after us (mind you we were told 30 minutes ago that we were second in line and the only people infront of us got seated after the first 10 minutes)!!!!! Breakfast tacos were delicious! We'll the filling was at least. The flour tortillas were actually falling apart so it would've been a good idea for them to double up cause the feeling got a little soggy. Overall breakfast foods were pretty basic and can't really be messed up but if you're a lover of breakfast this is the spot for you. Their on a college campus so def a younger crowd. Came here with my dad and brother, and we all loved it! Despite a 45 min wait (even at the new location), the wait was worth it. Loved the diner-esque ambience, felt pretty homey and old school which added to the experience. Menu is super extensive, which is great but also terrible for someone as indecisive as me! I am a sucker for sweet pancakes, so went with the Oatmeal Cream Pie pancakes, which did not disappoint. There was oatmeal/granola baked into the pancakes which added a nice crunch, and there was a vanilla cream infused/spread between the pancakes which added the extra sweetness. The pancakes had a good consistency - thick enough to hold all the extras but not so thick that I felt terribly full after m Tasted just like a Little Debbie snack cake! My brother got the same thing and was equally pleased. My dad got one of the omelettes, and he loved the pairing with avocados and pico de Gallo, as well as all the veggies. Lastly, even though we waited a while to be seated, service was incredibly fast and our waiter was so excellent. Definitely will be back to try the numerous other menu items! read more

Server extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The corned beef is made fresh and it was tender and flavorful. I had the CBH (corned beef hash) comes with two eggs and toast but get the biscuit. It was tender and fluffy on the inside and a slight crunch on the top. Perfectly cooked dish. Came out and served hot off the griddle. Homemade syrup and local honey. Only one disappointment no REAL BUTTER. I HATE margarine and find it appalling that food this good would be served with it. Asked manager and he said nope they don't have butter. Normally this place is a great option and I've enjoyed dining with them a handful of times, however yesterday they really dropped the ball. After joining the waitlist, waiting the full wait time and checking in, we notice a table open up that would accommodate our party around 1 hour until close. We notice the hostess come to clear the table, but she does not fully clean it. We think it will just be a short while and she will eventually complete it, especially because we were very visibly waiting on the sidewalk, very clearly within her view from the restaurant. After about 10 minutes, the table is still not clear and no one has come out to check on us. When we go inside and ask her about our wait status, she tells us that she cannot check our position in line because "the iPad is dead" (again, this was 1 hour until close after waiting for around 2 hours). There was no apology or acknowledgment of our wait despite seeing us waiting while she was half-heartedly clearing the table. Upon noticing the sense of frustration of having to check in about this issue, the hostess rolls her eyes. After pointing out the table that could be cleared, we were seated and served, but at the end of the meal, I requested to speak to a manager about our experience. Someone claiming to be a manager greeted me, but seemed to lack a sense of authority, so I was skeptical. The explanation of the experience did not seem to really matter to her, as there was no real apology, and she did not bring the hostess into the conversation to help mend our previous interaction. I asked for another manager, but was told, "she is not in today". Ultimately, we reached a resolution, we tipped and left before close. I understand working in the service industry is very challenging and wait times are to be expected, especially in these times. However, that is no excuse to keep friendly, timely customers waiting when there is clear availability. This left a poor impression on our guests who were first time visitors. The takeaway is: If you happen to have an issue here, be warned your concerns may fall on deaf ears. You may even get attitude from staff that is not reprimanded by management. Also, if you're waiting, they may purposefully keep you waiting in hopes you will leave on your own. I hope for better experiences in future visits. read more

Spot is super cool! They have two sitting rooms available. At the bar which is like a old diner feeling which is cool! Then the regular room with high tops. They have a mimosa deal which is nice.
