Finally tried Hidilao Hot Pot! Celebrated a friend's birthday and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was clean at opening of the day. Before walking in there were corn hole and large connect 4 game in the front. Then at check in they have a huge Hidilao panda and a lighted AZ sign. Then from there they have a mini snack station with lemon water and plum juice to snack on if there was a wait. There were several various birthday balloons and signs for several seated booths. We were given wet wipes, hair ties, aprons. The tables come with a little stacked swivel shelves for putting more food so it won't crowd the tables. There was a station for making the sauces as well as rice porridge and some fruits. And there was a dessert station too. They offer all you can eat for $37 for set A or $47 for set B which is the premium. We selected the $37 AYCE. We chose mushroom and tomato soup base enjoyed pork belly, beef brisket, basa fish, Napa cabbage, enoki, corn, bean curd, and more. They have 3 options for Bogo free of the milk tea. A few staff came over to sing happy birthday and give a cheese cake slice. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was so full and would happily come back again. read more

I've heard about Haidilao for years and finally went here this past weekend. They have a location in almost every large metro that you can think of. I've always seen a dancing noodle guy on social media and I was excited to experience the show in person. Haidilao is pricey. They will charge you for everything - soup base, noodles, veggies, meats, sauce bar, etc. It adds up quick. We ordered 3 soups: spicy sichuan, spicy pork, and tom yum. The first 2 were pretty spicy but they're all so good! The veggies and meats were delicious but I wish they were larger portions, especially for the price. The service was great and the dancing noodle guy was very entertaining. I wish they gave us more noodles though. Pro Tip: Google the secret phrases for free stuff! We received free steamed sweet buns that came with condensed milk, which was a nice way to end the meal. read more

Went for a friend's birthday, and it was my first time here. We had a fun experience--it felt like dinner and a show all in one. The mask-changing dancer was super interactive and fun, and the noodle dance guy was also entertaining and did a great job engaging with the table. Definitely added to the experience. The food was good, the restaurant was clean, and the robot servers added a futuristic vibe to the whole dining experience. Overall, I think the all-you-can-eat option might be a better value, and other places in the valley offer better AYCE dish variety/price options if you are really a foodie, but for a big group celebrating a birthday, we had a great time. read more

Haidilao was a great way for us to have dinner with a friend who is vegan. Everyone had options to choose from which is desirable when accommodating various dietary restrictions. We had not planned specifically to come here, our first choice wasn't possible, and so I didn't look very hard at the menu. I might have waited half an hour before arriving if I knew that they do offer all you can eat meat for $20 after 9pm. Otherwise the normal menu is à la cart, and those prices can add up quickly. Like, I enjoy hot pot and it met our needs for the dinner situation but do I want to spend as much as we did for it? Not really. The quality of the food was very good so I take no issue with any of that. I just found we had to be very aware of what we were adding to our order, and with something like hot pot an AYCE approach is much easier to navigate. So, it took us a while to figure out what we wanted to order to spend about $40/ person instead of much higher. I also didn't realize they charge 3.99/person for the sauce bar in the back. We were just told it was back there, no mention of it being extra. I also didn't like the tablet process of having to create an account and add my personal info. I would have preferred to just use a generic guest account on the iPad. I didn't see an option for that. The place is newer, part of the Mekong expansion, it's clean and brightly lit with lots of seating, and staff were all very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and we had a great time. So, only reason for dropping my rating to 4 stars is just the format of cost/ordering. You could rack up a pretty penny if you are not careful which items you choose. Add the broth, noodles, veggies, meats or non meat options and you're looking at an expensive hot pot. This is definitely a place to come for special occasions due to price point if you order without abandon. For a regular weeknight hot pot meal I'll likely hit up one of the AYCE restaurants in the area or come back after 9pm. read more

This place is awesome! I had dinner with friends here last week and we stopped by after 9pm for the meat o clock hour special. We checked in and waited for a few minutes for the host to sit us down. Once seated, the server quickly came on over to give us the rundown. We ordered meats, noodles, rice, veggies, drinks, and paid extra for the unlimited seasoning bar. We also opted for the dancing noodle show which we thought was super fun. We all ordered different broths and I really enjoyed the spicy broth I picked. I also ordered a milk tea but did not like it as it was not sweet but tasted watered down. We were there about 1.5 hours and service was good. Really Fun spot for celebrations with incredibly friendly staff and smooth overall experience. Bella was awesome! We came here twice, once for a birthday and once for Mother's day. Haidilao has the best flavored broth for hot pot. If you haven't had Haidilao before like I haven't, you don't understand. We ordered four different broths and they were all excellent- sichuan hot and spicy, tom yum, pork bone broth, and mushroom flavored. They let the customers use ipad tablet to order desired vegetables, meats, tofu, mushrooms, fish balls, appetizers, and whatever else you want that is on the menu. The customer service was great. The waitress came by and went and took away all the dirty dishes and dirty napkins to provide us with more space to enjoy our meals. I would recommend this place to others in a heart beat. Haidilao is such an amazing experience - for food and families! I came with my husband and some friends on Monday. We liked it so much, we brought the whole family back on Saturday! The hot pot experience means you pick your broth, protein, veggies, and noodles - cook and eat. The easiest way to explain it, it's like the melting pot, but way better!! Some of the highlights include: vibes, cleanliness, flavor of food and broth, but most importantly the hospitality! WOW. I have two toddlers and taking them out is always a risk, especially my two year old. I hesitated bringing them to a place with boiling broth that you cook your food - so risky! But this place is so kid and family friendly. They know what to expect with kids and they completely cater to the kiddos! They offered kids plates (fries, bao, and melon), they have a robot delivery cart that they always say "hi," to, they give toys to play with, and they have a "noodle dance!" In the last three days since, my kids have asked to go back at least 3x each day! If it's a hit with the kids - it's a hit for us! My whole family loved the experience and the food is so delicious. I'm updating my original review because I believe it's important to recognize businesses that are willing to listen and improve. When this visit first started, I was honestly very disappointed. There were several moments during the ordering process that negatively affected our experience. I was repeatedly interrupted while ordering, my request to use the same soup base in two sections of the four-part pot for my child was denied, and after choosing the All You Can Eat option, I was immediately warned about leftover penalties before we had even started ordering. Those interactions made me feel more like I was being monitored than welcomed, which was very different from the level of hospitality I expected from Haidilao. Instead of ignoring my concerns, the dining room manager, Evi, took the time to listen to everything I had to say. I explained my entire experience, including my disappointment from a previous visit when I ordered a Zootopia promotion but was never told about or given the promotional gift. Evi was patient, professional, and genuinely wanted to understand why I was unhappy. More importantly, the management acknowledged my feedback and told me they would review and improve these issues. They also generously comped our entire meal, which I appreciated--not because I wanted free food, but because it showed they took customer feedback seriously. After those initial issues, the rest of our meal was excellent. The food quality was great, and the service for the remainder of the visit was attentive, friendly, and exactly what I had hoped for when coming to Haidilao. Nobody gets everything right every time. What matters to me is how a business responds when something goes wrong. In this case, they listened instead of arguing, took responsibility instead of making excuses, and made a sincere effort to make things right. Because of that attitude, I'm happy to update my review to 5 stars. What better place to celebrate Lunar New Year than a hot pot place? People have been asking me recently whether I've tried Haidilao so I figured it would be perfect to try out some huo guo on the first day of the year of the horse. I went with a friend and had reservations just in case it was super busy. We were one of the first people there at opening and while it wasn't busy at 11 the tables filled up later on. One thing that was weird was that you have to register with them on their tablet to be able to order anything. This involves giving your name, email, phone number, etc. I asked if I could opt out and the server sheepishly (despite it not being year of the sheep) replied no. Apparently you accrue points from each dining experience by giving away your data to them. Would you consider that a fair trade off? Anyhoo, after registering we got down to business and started ordering. A little explanation from the server would have helped in navigating the menu and getting information about the different food options but we muddled through OK in the end. If you order their signature noodles it comes with a hand pulled noodle dance where a noodle boss flings, twists and rotates a very long noodle in a Cirque du Soleil-esque fashion before putting it in a bowl for you to dip into your broth. It was quite a show! The noodle itself was delicious, having the perfect amount of chew. Our other food options were quite good, with the exception of the shrimp. It wasn't cleaned so unless you take out the vein yourself you're going to be tasting grit when you eat it after cooking. No bueno! The condiment bar had the most variety I've ever seen at a hot pot place. We made good use of the bar to make our dipping sauces and to indulge in some crispy crunchy shrimp flavored chips. The ambiance was modern and aesthetically pleasing. Everything looked well maintained. Service was slightly lacking. As mentioned before, we would have liked someone to explain the menu more to us and to check up on us more. We did get a refill on our broth so that was good at least. If you get to-go containers they come in paper cups with a plastic lid. The total was pretty pricey in the end, but we ordered with our eyes instead of our stomachs and had food leftover. Dancing Noodle Piece is a must with the show at your table that it comes with as they dazzle you with the Noodle making and stretching. Fun and tasty Kobe Beef Belly Portion is a good selection for the carnivores and goes along ways. A5 Miyazaki Japanese Wagyu Ribeye Portion Pork Belly Portion Prime Rib Eye Portion USDA Bok Choy Napa Cabbage Went here for for a birthday and told our waitress and they did nothing which was disappointing. First time being at Haidilao or any Haidilao location. They had a kiosk station outside to announce wait times and reservation list. Signing up was easy enough and would prompt a text when the table was ready so we got a moment to walk around until then. It didn't leave much time for walking because we were alerted right away. Checking in after that was a little chaotic. Staff seemed overwhelmed and didn't know what to do with us because they were attending to a customer at their gift shop. We were told to sit in the waiting area which was pleasant enough. There were free snacks and beverages. There are board games inside and outdoor games outside. I've never seen an establishment do this and that's a plus for me. Hospitality is the best quality I look for in establishments like this. They have a variety of soup bases to choose from and a sauce bar for an extra charge. We went with herbal, tom yum and mushroom. All were good, but tom yum was our fave. The three noodle set all had unique flavors. One especially tasted citrusy and was a welcome delight! The lamb was sliced thin like all meats and cooks quickly. All are à la cart so can be pricey. It at least caters to everyone's tastes and preferences. We also ordered tea and I noticed that it was over steeped. After mentioning it, they brewed a brand new tea for me! Haidilao is... interesting. If you've never had hot pot before, I can see this being a fun introduction to the experience. The restaurant definitely leans heavily into the entertainment side of dining. The dancing noodle performance is genuinely fun, especially if you have kids, and the service is attentive. That said, I'm super disappointeed. The biggest issue is the value. By the time you order your broth, proteins, vegetables, noodles, and extras, you're spending the same amount you could spend at a James Beard award-winning restaurant, yet the quality of the food isn't even anywhere near equal. What Haidilao is really selling is the experience, not the flavor. As an Asian woman who regularly makes hot pot at home with family, I came in excited and left sooooo underwhelmed. The ingredients were fine, but nothing stood out as exceptional. The broths lacked the depth and richness I was hoping for, and overall the meal felt more focused on presentation and service than creating memorable flavors. And even then, the service wasn't great. I frequently had to flag down the waitress for a refill or help. If you're looking for a first hot pot experience, celebrating with kids, or want the novelty of the noodle show, you may enjoy it. But if you're already familiar with hot pot and are coming primarily for the food, you may find it hard to justify the price. We were excited that this place is finally open and wanted to try it to compare it with other Haidilao locations we've been to. The wait was maybe 5-10 minutes when we came on a Friday just before 7pm. We were in the waiting area after we received a text message then we're led to our table. It was super busy and the everything looked clean. We ordered what we have tried before at other locations like the Tom Yum broth and Mushroom broth as well as USDA Prime Ribeye, Kobe Beef Belly, Assorted Mushroom Combo, Sweet Potato Vermicelli, Mixed Vegetable Platter, and the 8-second Bean Curd Skin. They charged for the sauce bar so might as well utilize it. When we received our food, the Tom Yum broth and the Mushroom broth just didn't have the same flavor as other locations which was disappointing to us. In fact, everything else we ate was just okay to us and definitely not the same experience we had at other locations. They also don't participate in giving you freebies/toys if you say certain "secret" phrases to them like "Do I look like a kid to you?" or "I'm a little fairy". Our waiter looked at me funny then knew what I was talking about and said it's only California locations that do that which I thought it was all locations. I had a very pleasant visit with the family celebrating a birthday. From the moment we walked in to we had arrived at our room, we were treated at VIPs. We were informed about the restrooms and the sauce station (extra charge) ahead of time. Due to the birthday, our room was decorated. What a lovely thoughtful gesture. The ordering iPad was easy to use. The food usually arrived within 15-20 minutes. There's always a water jug available to refill our cups. Tip: order 4 bases for the pot. I had heard of Haidilao from their other locations, so I was excited when it was announced they were opening a location in AZ! Of course, had to wait for the hype to die down before checking it out. Once there, the server explained the process - basically you just place all your orders through the iPad that's on the table. Very convenient to scroll through the different categories and everything has pics to help you decide what to order. Once you have your selections in your cart, you just send your order to the kitchen. You can do this for multiple rounds, basically just small to medium sized orders until you feel like you're at a good stopping point. The first thing to select is the broths. You can choose 2 broths or 4 broths. For our group size, the server recommended 2 broths so everything can heat up and cook quickly. We got the tom yum soup and the three delicacies soup base (seafood, mushrooms, jujubes). We also got an assortment of meats, veggies, etc. The tom yum soup was by far our favorite. The other one was too bland. Honestly I didn't know what all meats we ordered, just that they were delicious. Some other highlights were: pork dumplings, potato noodles, etc. We also got the signature dancing noodle, which I thought was purely for show, but the noodle itself was really great - super chewy. Haidilao is great for groups, especially so you can try a little bit of everything. It's not exactly cheap, but it's for the experience and meats are naturally on the more expensive end. Happy to see another hot pot option here in AZ. They do not offer AYCE option so it can add up! I was greeted as soon as I walked near the entrance and was handed a little welcome gift bag with snacks and a $10 off coupon to use for the next visit (expired 12/31/25). That was nice! The have a little waiting area inside with a mini snack bar with some refreshments along with a full sized bar as well. I didn't check which specific liquors they had. It looked limited though. There's extra seating outside too. Great service! I was checked on by 3 different people as I waited for my family to arrive. Our server, Duy, was great as well. Very friendly and helped my mom with all her questions and even made sauces for my parents. Order: Drink: Matcha Coconut for me and waters for everyone else Broth - tom yum and spicy pork bone broth. We left the other 2 as water to flavor ourselves. Meats - 2 different beefs, chicken, tofu fish cake, assorted meatballs, and the assorted seafood platter. Veggies - assorted veggie platter, assorted mushroom platter, tang oh and lotus root Noodles - handmade noodles and potato noodles Sweets: golden fried buns (free with secret code!). Tom yum broth was delicious! I didn't try the pork bone broth. I highly recommend getting the mixed platters so you don't have to get a bunch of things separately. Things I didn't like and hope they can improve on: - wish the veggie platter portion was bigger. It just didn't seem like enough. You only get a few pieces of each - they charge for sauce per person. It is not included - we chose 2 broths but it would have been an extra charge to fill the entire halves of the pot. I've eaten enough hot pot to know how to flavor the 2 water ones well but others may not - update the website to include ALL of the items on the menu along with their prices per item so people can get an estimate or pre-plan ahead of time what to order They also had a little show with music and someone in a costume dancing. My brother treated my parents and I for our birthdays and forgot to take the breakdown receipt but I do know that the total was $252.52 with tip. This is a typical Haidilao restaurant, a brand that's extremely popular in Mainland China. This location is the first one in Arizona and is situated next to a very popular Chinese supermarket. This restaurant also has all the decor and a fun waiting area. What I love most about Haidilao is the high quality of the ingredients, the wonderful service (though there's still some room for improvement at this location), and the amazing selection of condiments. If you order the hand-pulled noodles, the staff will perform a noodle-dancing show while pulling them right in front of you, which makes the experience even more fun and memorable. read more

It was Saturday Night and we were trying to figure out what we were gonna do for dinner. We had already decided that we would go to the Mei Kong Plaza to do some shopping, and we figured we would eat at one of the establishments that were there. We hadn't had hot pot in a very long time, and we figured we would give Haidilao a try. I thought their concept was extremely interesting as they have a restaurant and a gift shop right next door that sells all types of cute Asian novelties. The restaurant is definitely family-oriented. They had a few areas set up for people who were having birthdays. I found the restaurant to be extremely well-lit, and the food presentation was very appetizing. I found it a bit challenging, going through the menu on an iPad, but that's just because I am an old-fashioned kind of guy. The food quality was very good and very fresh. I would advise at least one person in your party to spend the extra $3.99 for the additional bar so that you can get different spices to accent the taste of your food. In my opinion, my soup, which was the mushroom was very bland, and I needed to spice it up. I just wish I had had my Vietnamese fish sauce for that meal. Note to self: bring Vietnamese fish sauce next time I visit this establishment. If you pay the $3.99 extra, you get the additional appetizers and spice bar as well as dessert, which consists of various Asian delights, and you also have a choice of getting vanilla or strawberry ice cream if you ask your server. A friend made a group dinner reservation here recently because 1) she loves hot pot 2) she'd heard really good things about Haidilao 3) it's supposed to be a fun dinner outing. I came in with no expectations - not knowing how it would work or what i'd even be eating for dinner. The hostess was nice when I arrived, and promptly took me to our table... which came with cute aprons, since we'd be dealing with soups. It worked out that the guys ordered only spicy hot pot and us ladies favored savory bases. We had a handful of servers so it's hard to say who was ours specifically. A girl was kind to go over the menu and how it works. It is definitely not all-you-can eat, so if you don't pay attention to what you're ordering it can get pricy. Us girls ended up paying about $45 per person with tip. I would have preferred to spend less on veggies and more meat but I was going with the team. Of the four bases we ate, the plain broth was our least favorite and the best was the three delicacies. Definitely get quail eggs if they're available, and spend a few extra bucks on the dancing noodles. You can get dessert for an extra cost - ice jelly - but it didn't look horribly appealing to us (one of my foodie friends after the fact told me we should've at least tried it). We used a code to get dough sticks since a couple other options were unavailable for the day. After you pay, this Haidilao has a soft serve social area that was a cherry on top of a nice outing. Our servers were so sweet and even gifted us hand pulled noodles which is a must try. It's slightly pricey but I promise that the quality is so good. We were told that after 9pm, they do all you can eat meats and free ice cream, so I may try that for next time. This was a hard visit. I really wanted to like it but it was very hard to. The server was great! However the dinner was hard to enjoy. You decide between broths, and splitting 2 or 4. Then you select your meat which is a small portion for what you pay. There is a seasoning bar that you use, I didn't know so our broth was very bland. We had the beef belly and pork belly. Not my favorite. It was very busy but quick to provide the toppings which wasn't a lot. We ordered the noodle dance.. we didn't get it until we were done with the food. We ended up canceling it. You know at first I went because one of my friends begged to go but I was thinking nah it's over hyped and over priced not worth it. I went and BOY WAS I WRONG. It is so worth the hype. Yeah it's on the expensive side by the quality and service you get is worth every single penny. The foods was phenomenal. I love me a good hot pot experience but this took it to a whole new level. As soon as we got seated our server Emily pulled out a lens cleaner for my glasses, hair ties, snacks, and cute lil wet wipes for us. She kindly went thru the menu all with a smile. When we ordered our food we thought it would not be enough but boy it was delicious and filling. I tried the duck intestines for the first time. Wtf... it is now my favorite. DARN YOU SO I HAVE TO COME BACK!!!!! David the host was so so kind and so funny. He even got us from outside and let us know there is a table inside in the waiting area we can sit at. He (I KID YOU NOT) cleaned off the waiting area table and gave us snacks right after then showed us the complimentary watermelon drink. Really enjoyed our meal here! We did 4 broths and they all were amazing. The meats were great, noodles were delicious. They did a whole dance while making the noodles, the kids loved it. Service was impeccable! Everybody we interacted with had amazing energy. I would say the only thing that was a bit of a negative for me was the price. We're no hotpot experts... 90% of the year it's too hot to eat soup! With it being cold and rainy the last week, it was finally hot pot time. I looked at a few places but we decided on Haidilao when we saw there was no waitlist online. The restaurant is nice and new, part of the Mekong expansion. The service is good- Isabelle was kind, helpful, and had good recommendations. Ladies are given a complimentary hair tie. Not sure if the aprons are only for the customers who opt into the $3.99 sauce bar, as we didn't. Natty P.'s review is on par- this place isn't AYCE! I wasn't expecting to be nickled and dimed for EVERYTHING. Should have read her review first lol. We did a quarter pot with mushroom soup, tom yum soup, spicy beef tallow, and spicy pork bone= $32.96. This doesn't include anything. 1 Australian lamb shoulder= $14.99 1 Angus Boneless short rib= $24.99 1 Pork Belly= $12.99 Handmade noodle= 3.99 Napa cabbage= 7.99 Udon= 4.99 Bok Choy= 6.99 Mini fried tofu= 6.99 Pork and cabbage dumplings= 5.99 Fried steamed bun= 5.99 Total: $139.56 for 2 people, pre-tip Admittedly we went ham... did we need 3 proteins? No, but if you're going to eat here, might as well! The quality of the proteins are quite good. The cabbage and bok choy come out as whole leaves, separated. It made eating the cabbage difficult, so I ripped it up before putting it in the broth. Our favorite broth overall was the spicy pork bone. Yes, it's spicy, but not overwhelmingly so. The Spicy beef tallow is the SPICIEST and the peppercorns and Schezuan spices are numbing but it's the best for dipping meat into. The Tom Yum would be my 2nd choice overall, but I would chose the spicy pork bone over it. We could have done without the mushroom broth. Although we were full, we ordered the fried steamed buns because Isabelle said she dreams about them. She was right- they are HEAVEN dipped into the condensed milk (which I could have used more of)!! Overall, a good experience for special events and entertaining guests, but not a daily occurrence. I'll opt for inclusive hotpots. read more

I've been here a few times now since opening and service is amazing every time. Very friendly and attentive staff, and the food quality is great. The fortune bags are unique and remind me of fish roe balls but with tofu skin. The bean curd skin here is very soft too, I love it. Tasty meats and good broth flavor. The tomato broth is full of umami and surprised me when I had it because it's never this good anywhere else. Sure, it's a bit pricier than other hot pots, especially if you're going to AYCE but you get what you pay for. Interior is nice and clean as well, very modern looking. We had a lot of fun here! They give complementary bibs, lens cleaner, and toys even though we didn't know the secret phrases. We had all you can eat- a promotion they are running for the month of July. It's $37 per person and you can add the sauce and desert bar for an extra $4. The catch is that they will charge you $10 per 100g of food left over- even if it's inside the pot so beware! read more

This is a super fun spot! They have tons of meat and seafood options to choose from and several different broths. You can choose to do 1, 2 or 4. We had a group and so we did 4. My biggest issue with hot pot is that everything ends up tasting like the broth. Spending extra $ on more expensive meats just doesn't make a lot of sense. I highly recommend getting the hand pulled noodle. A guy comes out and puts on a show and it's super fun. The noodle is great too! We also saw someone celebrating their birthday and it looks like the most embarrassing /awesome birthday celebration ever. Take a friend for their birthday and you won't regret it. This place is fun and if you like hot pot you will love it. At the end of the meal they even send you home with a little snack bag. It is definitely worth checking out! read more

Been wanting to try this place out ever since we heard one was opening in Arizona. Waited a few weeks after they opened to go try them out, to let them work out grand opening kinks and for lower wait times. We came during prime lunchtime hours and were able to get seated right away. After looking over the options, we decided to get the quarter pot with tom yum soup, regular pork bone soup, spicy pork bone soup and mushroom soup. Our favorite broths from the ones we tried were the regular pork bone soup and the tom yum soup. I went with someone who does not eat beef or lamb, so our protein options were limited. We had thought there would be more seafood options to make up for it but unfortunately there were not. So, we ended up ordering two things of the pork belly and a fish and shrimp duo platter, with a whole bunch of different veggie and noodle items. Our favorite parts about this place were the clean appetizer/sauce bar, dessert bar (especially their tofu pudding), and the excellent attentive service. Where else are you going to find a server who offers to peel the shrimp for you? We didn't take her up on the offer, but it was something surprisingly thoughtful we never thought someone would offer. Overall, it was a great experience. This is one of those places I would come to for special occasions or if you have guests visiting and want a more elevated hotpot experience. The quality of the food in general wasn't any more outstanding than other hotpot places. If you come here, it's more for the novelty, extra amenities, attentive service and well maintained cleanliness. read more

Haidilao finally opened in AZ! We came for lunch. It was decent busy but no wait. Service was top notch! The Mala broth was so fragrant and numbing! Meat quality is good. Hubby was sweating lol Of course we had to order the dancing noodles. He put on a fun show! The price is definitely on the higher end compare to AYCE style places like KPot. I came here for a date night on Thursday evening and arrived around 6:30pm. We did put our names on the waitlist but didn't wait long. We waited inside where we got to enjoy snacks and water or juice. Service is friendly and they offer you hot tea as well. I loved the sauce bar and complimentary side dishes. I also loved the complimentary dessert. It's a fun place but does get quite pricey when you add things on. We did the secret "code" golden bricks and got free deep fried buns with condensed milk! Had a bit of a rough start - we ordered the vegan soup, but were served the non-vegetarian version instead. The staff caught it and swapped it out before we ate, though it did take quite a bit of time. After that, the experience picked up - the team was accommodating throughout and even gave us a $10 gift card, which was a nice touch. The dancing noodles were a highlight and genuinely fun to watch. The appetizer bar was a great concept, and the self-serve sauce station with recipe guides added a fun, interactive element. The appetizer bar did include fruit, though the selection was fairly limited. Dessert options were also on the thinner side, so don't come expecting much on that front. Minor hiccups aside, it's a fancy, one-of-a-kind experience that's absolutely worth trying at least once. read more

Arizona is lucky to have a Haidilao! From the moment you walk in, the service is outstanding--staff warmly guide you through the ordering process and go out of their way to make the experience seamless. While waiting to be seated, guests can enjoy complimentary snacks, drinks, and even ice cream in the lounge area, which sets the tone for the meal. Once seated, each person (kids included) receives a disposable apron to protect against splashes--a thoughtful touch that shows how much they care about the details. The meal begins with your choice of soup bases (up to four per table), and from there you can customize your hot pot with a wide variety of toppings ordered directly from an iPad. A robot even delivers some of the dishes, which is a fun and futuristic twist.
