It's big alright and has lots of stuff. But I've been to better H-E-B's. Also their BBQ restaurant inside is quite disappointing and tonight when I attended an event there the chopped beef brisket sandwiches were very disappointing and they kept running out. The worst part of this location is its parking lot since it is such a big store with a small lot and it shares the lot with a few dozen other businesses. Don't expect a quick trip here!!!

Love HEB, and this location is sooooo nice! They have an extremely wide variety of prepared meals along with all of the normal HEB products. There are plenty of check-out stations, as well as self-checkout. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the store is so clean!

The best HEB around town. Like the Costco of HEBs. Everything you need. Gonna really miss this when I head back up to NY.

This is one of my favorite HEB locations. They always seem to have what I need in stock. When it's crowded (always lol) it's a little better to navigate than other locations. Very clean and seems much more spacious since the renovation. I swear the bakery is bigger. Good cheese selection. They've got a True Texas BBQ location, pharmacy, etc.

Pretty good HEB [[HIGHLIGHT]]They've been under construction for a while now and is a tad dusty, but overall I have no complaints.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Went to grab a money order for my upcoming passport appointment, the customer service person was polite and quick.

Just picked up my curbside and they gave me an opened and half drank protein shake. So either the picker drank it themselves and gave it to us or the picker picked it up and noticed it was much lighter than the 5 others we bought and still packed it AWESOME! I swear every time we pick up curbside here we get some BS like this.

I refuse to believe all H.E.B's are the same. I've been to some that are pretty good but I think this one is the best in the Austin area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The workers are always nice and helpful, the store while busy most of the day still manages to keep everything easily accessible for me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The cashiers are crazy nice. It was a bit of a culture shock when I moved to Austin and found out that I had to bring bags to H.E.B. but now I have every type of bag you can imagine! [[HIGHLIGHT]]this store manages to stay so clean as well that it blows my mind.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I don't understand how this location knocks it out of the ball park every time I come here, and every new trip is better than the last. a well deserved 5/5 stars for the staff here at this location.

Had the cowboy burgers - horrible. Was tough like a hockey puck even when grilled to med rare, not a good choice.

HEB apparently can't keep up with its staffing availability. Saturday night and 4 lanes open. Good luck staying in business. Disappointing.

I only came to the 5th Street Target because it was the only place that had what I needed,a simple pen for black label for homemade gifts. I came against my better judgment, and honestly, I wish I hadn't. First off, the parking is a mess. You have to park in the garage and get validation to avoid paying $7. There's no handicap parking right in front of the elevator entrance either, which makes things way harder than it should be. I could have used street parking but didn't feel like being hassled by the men that wait in front of the store. Once I got inside, I started noticing a man, Hispanic, curly hair, maroon shirt, no name badge walking past me multiple times in different sections. First in the makeup aisle, then again when I moved to another area, and again a third time. It really felt like he was watching me, not shopping. He made me super uncomfortable. I was using the Target app to scan items and make sure I was getting the right prices. Just trying to get in and out quickly because, truth be told, I've been avoiding Target for a while now. When I checked out, one of my items rang up higher than what the app said. I went to Guest Services, showed the price on my phone, and was told I must've grabbed the wrong thing. I hadn't, I scanned it myself before adding it to my cart. All this over a few markers. I'm sticking with my boycott. I came here trying to support my own project and left feeling watched, dismissed, and frustrated.

Ok now that is out of the way. Review time: I really love this location so much. The store is huge with wide aisles making it easy to navigate compared to the smaller stores. Even if it's crazy busy on a Sunday afternoon you can still get to the items you need with ease. The store is still very clean and of course modern since the rebuild. Employees are friendly. The shelves are stocked fully 99.999% of the time. I live extremely close to the East 7th Street store (5 min away) and opt for this location time and time again.

I love that they have a parking garage so if it's pouring down with rain, one doesn't get drenched trying to get one's vehicle with a basket load of groceries. On the ground floor, there is True Texas BBQ with ample seating. One can take the elevator or escalater up to the second floor to the supermarket. On the escalater, there is one side for you and the other side for your trolly of groceries. I have abandoned my neighborhood HEB and now patronize this one at 2400 S. Congress Ave.

It looks like the place was hit hard as there were items everywhere, there were boxes littered throughout with items meant for restocking, and the energy just felt a little tense. That being said, I think it's not too bad of a location. Super close by where my Airbnb was and close by bus station and a major road in the city. It's long but not wide and so there aren't a ton of aisles but the aisles are longish. The beginning of one aisle might have chips but by the end of it you'll be with the makeup. Cashiers are up front and there aren't a lot of self checkout lanes. Some items were locked behind a glass door but for the most part, everything was accessible without the help of employees. I didn't find my first choice for a couple of items but found my backup choice. So I'll give it a 3 star. But don't expect it to be the cleanest or most tidy

After my purchase, I told Ruby about the elevator incident, that she was more engrossed in her cell phone than providing good service. I asked her who is the supervisor of this CVS.
