I've been buying from Nav almost everyday for years, and he never disappoints or takes a day off it seems. He works holidays when no one else does so people can get what they need, including myself this past Christmas. He's always friendly and often offers to acquire items not in store if asked to. He's been open everyday during this current pandemic, taking large measures to ensure the health of his customers and being busy trying to find rare items for his neighborhood customers, while larger grocery stores have been packed with many empty shelves. Please stop by sometime and see for yourself how this small store is a staple of the Mueller neighborhood. read more

Every neighborhood should have their own mosaic market! It's so convenient. They have everything you need from Advil to toilet paper to ice cream to wine. If you need one or two items and don't want to go inside the always crowded heb, this place has your back. Also they let me bring my puppy inside so sometimes I will walk my dog in the neighborhood and pop I when I forget something. I'll keep it short and simple: I have contemplated moving out of the apartment building above Mosaic Market but one of the biggest reasons I want to stay is because of Mosaic Market and its owner. He's such a positive and friendly guy, who's genuinely interested in improving his business for the community around it. He's always open to bringing in local, organic, and healthy options alongside your convenience store staples. Something for everyone! Mosaic Market is a cool community store with a lot going on. Despite its size, it packs in everything ranging from organic soap to quality gelato and other gourmet foods + breakfast tacos! Other than the wide selection, I'm a fan of the service. I've gotten to know this really friendly guy named Saroj who's usually there during the day. It'd be nice if they kept the little patio table and chair setup outside more often. Also, sometimes parking is a hassle, and some things in the store are a bit overpriced, but that comes with the location. read more

It offers a surprising array of products including Tacodeli tacos and an impressive selection of wine (more than just Yellowtail). The pricing is a little more expensive than your usual gas station convenience store and definitely more than the nearby HEB. Pros: * Surprisingly wide selection given the small size, lots of cool and healthy stuff * Clean bathrooms Cons: * Expensive. Much moreso than other stores for the same stuff but given the location, that's probably not surprising. Wishlist: * Somehow get more parking. The absolute best local convenience store / market, ever. They have everything. Need some milk, maple syrup, chicken noodle soup, Dr. Pepper, an amazing bottle of wine, gluten-free crackers, sunglasses, Advil, bag of organic coffee, toilet paper, brownie mix, a vegetarian frozen meal, or one of seemingly endless selection of locally made, artisanal treats and snacks? Or just need a cup of coffee and a breakfast taco? They got it. There are Doritos right next to a bag of organic dill lentil chips. There's Bud Light and Austin-brewed IPA. Local Kombucha and cherry coke. Love this place. Mosaic Market is family-owned, and the owner often works in the store. He and the staff are lovely. During the boil-ban, this was the only place in a 5-mile radius to have gallons of water, because he drove all over Austin for days to try to find water for his customers. He did NOT increase the price even when other places were. One time I offhandedly requested an obscure brand of snack and the next week he started stocking it. This place feels like a true neighborhood market. read more

Mosaic Market is a upscale corner store with a FANTASTIC owner and staff... They have everything you need and more, you will be amazed at the upscale products they carry.... This place is rad-cool. Mosaic Market has an awesome wine selection, variety of organic food & drinks(yummy organic ice cream too), local honey/products, and a super friendly owner and staff. What's really unique is that you can request a product that they don't have on the shelves by letting the owner know or signing up for it on a sheet of paper. I did this for C20 coconut water and the owner happily started selling it for me within a few weeks. Oh and did I mention they started selling taco deli tacos for breakfast? Yeah, pure awesomeness. Convenience of this market is amazing since it's about 100 steps from our apt and the selection is quite impressive for the size. Plus the prices are reasonable. Mosaic market is great to have in the neighborhood. I love the large variety of snacks, drinks, and beer, and also how many of my favorite healthy snack and drink choices are here. There's Maine root on the soda fountain which I love because everywhere else you pay two dollars more for the bottle. There's some great Mediterranean food wrapped up to go in the front cooler that's local and delicious. Great wine selection so I don't have to go far. I don't really know of another market with so much to offer anywhere else in the neighborhood. It's a great location- I can walk the trail outside then come back for some snacks and chat with the owner Nev, who's so nice and makes a point to ask how I've been doing. This is a must check out spot when you need a pick me up. read more

This place is excellent, very reminiscent of the British grocers/convenience stores I grew up with. They have an amazing range of stock for such a relatively small space, pretty much everything you need, and the wine selection is especially good. They brew Katz' brand coffee and have provided coffee flasks for a couple of events I've organized locally. The manager, Nav, is charming and incredibly helpful. Best of all the prices are very reasonable, there's no huge mark-up on stuff unlike some similar places. Sounds too good to be true I know, but definitely worth checking out. read more

Wonderful variety of items to are only a few reasons this Market is a great addition to the Mosaic complex. The recent addition of Boars Head sandwiches, salads and deli meats are always great for last minute meals. The management and staff take customer service to a new level and if you would like something that is not currently part of their stock simply request it and they will go out of their way to have it on the shelves asap. The coffee is fantastic and the number of local Austin brand items that the store carries makes this market an Austin original. read more

Walked in this morning looking forward to trying out these hyped up breakfast tacos. Instantly I came into what sounded like a personal conversation being had by the store attendant over the phone at an alarming volume. I wanted to ask about the tacos but I found them easily on the store front counter and started selecting the few I wanted to purchase. This only took a few moments and once I was done I waited eagerly at the counter awaiting a greeting or break in conversation so I could ask if the tortillas were corn or wheat as they were not all marked. Never got a word as the store attendant continued chattering away aggressively on his cellphone and started to push my purchase into the registrar. At that point I had to attempt multiple times to ask about the ingredient used for the tortilla as I have an allergen towards wheat before he finally got off the phone and asked me "what?" I continued to ask if the tacos I had selected were made of corn and he finally told me no so I responded with a never mind then, thank you and walked out of the store. I consider this extremely poor customer service especially in such a nice area. The store attendant was rude and careless enough for me to want to sign up with Yelp today and leave my first review. read more
