However, the traffic in the area and the parking have gotten increasingly more hectic and chaotic. Because of this, I have been using a location out in the 'burbs. I would give 5 stars but because of the chaos, I have to give 4. The store itself is chaotic inside but can still navigate, employees are that TJ-friendly that we all know and love. They always have what I need. Like I said, just a nightmare at times to get inside.

One of my friends speculated that it was because they had a University of Texas game yesterday and they needed ice for tailgate parties. Really!? Seriously?' There is no empirical evidence supporting this assertion. If that was case, why could they not know the schedule. Well, I ended up buying ice at a higher price from a gasoline station...don't remember the name. Am I raging about the difficulty of finding ice? Nope! In retrospect, it is rather humorous that so many places were out of ice simultaneously. If all of the ice went to fun pursuits, I'm good with the icecapades (case of the missing ice). Lesson learned: Buy ice in my neighborhood before heading downtown Austin.

Ok now that is out of the way. Review time: I really love this location so much. The store is huge with wide aisles making it easy to navigate compared to the smaller stores. Even if it's crazy busy on a Sunday afternoon you can still get to the items you need with ease. The store is still very clean and of course modern since the rebuild. Employees are friendly. The shelves are stocked fully 99.999% of the time. I live extremely close to the East 7th Street store (5 min away) and opt for this location time and time again.

I picked up a tea and a muffin, both of which were absolutely delicious. One of my favorite parts of the experience was sitting outside at one of the iconic blue tables and enjoying breakfast while taking in the atmosphere. While some items can be a bit pricey, the quality of the products, the cleanliness of the store, and the excellent customer service make it well worth the cost. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in Austin.
