Grocery order. Delivered. Driver stole many items, and threw down the rest, resulting in much damage (like 12 broken eggs, etc.). Rest of the order was spoiled and hot. Walmart refuses to give a refund, stating that I have to ship all damaged items to the warehouse. After this happened, an agent told me to throw it all out. So, two weeks later, they refuse to give a refund unless I return all. WHO retains broken eggs, milk that was mopped up from my front porch, slimy spinach, a broken watermelon, etc., etc.? I am out $97.00 and even Paypal won't help. They state that Walmart needs all items returned to get my refund. Don't tempt me to get into the trash can and retrieve a bunch of slimy, spoiled, rotten groceries, box them up and return them to Walmart. The shipping alone will be about $50.00. I WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER EVER SHOP AT WALMART AGAIN. THIS is the fourth time that I was missing items and they just say, 'it was delivered.' One item was delivered to Florida and I live in Texas, but they claim it was delivered, no refund. This is for delivery, not pickup, but whatever, I am soooo pissed off at Walmart.

    Walmart thinks you're a criminal

While the workers are nominally friendly, this location is very dirty and disorganized. I would not recommend it for any reason. Their surveillance robot in the parking lot is downright dystopian and a slap in the face. There are many other stores that have more respect for customers. There are no same day delivery windows like they claim, and then the courier won't show up. I haven't put a review on here in years but this is just awful. The prescription can take days to process. I have a prescription I absolutely need and asked my doctor for EARLY because I know how capsule can be. I did this last Wednesday. It is now the following Tuesday and I still do not have my prescription and have spent days going through withdrawal. This is not the first time this has happened. They did not show last night while I sat for three hours waiting and claim I said I would pick it up. This is entirely untrue. I am sick as a dog - do you think I didn't check the app nonstop? Now have to drive to downtown Austin with no parking while I try not to barf to pick up this prescription - because now they say it can't be delivered until tomorrow. So a literal WEEK since my doctor called in the prescription. This is serious. People go to the hospital for withdrawals of this but I'm poor and tried to get this prescription a WEEK AGO. Good luck getting it changed or moved!!! You need it today? Tomorrow ? Are you sick right now? Too bad! Would not recommend to anyone.

I only came to the 5th Street Target because it was the only place that had what I needed,a simple pen for black label for homemade gifts. I came against my better judgment, and honestly, I wish I hadn't. First off, the parking is a mess. You have to park in the garage and get validation to avoid paying $7. There's no handicap parking right in front of the elevator entrance either, which makes things way harder than it should be. I could have used street parking but didn't feel like being hassled by the men that wait in front of the store. Once I got inside, I started noticing a man, Hispanic, curly hair, maroon shirt, no name badge walking past me multiple times in different sections. First in the makeup aisle, then again when I moved to another area, and again a third time. It really felt like he was watching me, not shopping. He made me super uncomfortable. I was using the Target app to scan items and make sure I was getting the right prices. Just trying to get in and out quickly because, truth be told, I've been avoiding Target for a while now. When I checked out, one of my items rang up higher than what the app said. I went to Guest Services, showed the price on my phone, and was told I must've grabbed the wrong thing. I hadn't, I scanned it myself before adding it to my cart. All this over a few markers. I'm sticking with my boycott. I came here trying to support my own project and left feeling watched, dismissed, and frustrated.

Ok now that is out of the way. Review time: I really love this location so much. The store is huge with wide aisles making it easy to navigate compared to the smaller stores. Even if it's crazy busy on a Sunday afternoon you can still get to the items you need with ease. The store is still very clean and of course modern since the rebuild. Employees are friendly. The shelves are stocked fully 99.999% of the time. I live extremely close to the East 7th Street store (5 min away) and opt for this location time and time again.

I love that they have a parking garage so if it's pouring down with rain, one doesn't get drenched trying to get one's vehicle with a basket load of groceries. On the ground floor, there is True Texas BBQ with ample seating. One can take the elevator or escalater up to the second floor to the supermarket. On the escalater, there is one side for you and the other side for your trolly of groceries. I have abandoned my neighborhood HEB and now patronize this one at 2400 S. Congress Ave.

It looks like the place was hit hard as there were items everywhere, there were boxes littered throughout with items meant for restocking, and the energy just felt a little tense. That being said, I think it's not too bad of a location. Super close by where my Airbnb was and close by bus station and a major road in the city. It's long but not wide and so there aren't a ton of aisles but the aisles are longish. The beginning of one aisle might have chips but by the end of it you'll be with the makeup. Cashiers are up front and there aren't a lot of self checkout lanes. Some items were locked behind a glass door but for the most part, everything was accessible without the help of employees. I didn't find my first choice for a couple of items but found my backup choice. So I'll give it a 3 star. But don't expect it to be the cleanest or most tidy

I said forget the coupon (which the pharmacist in the 2nd floor gave me). After my purchase, I told Ruby about the elevator incident, that she was more engrossed in her cell phone than providing good service. I asked her who is the supervisor of this CVS. She said she is the supervisor. What a shock. A supervisor who gives Bad customer service and who didn't know how coupons work. Negative star rating!
