I have to give a huge shoutout to Britney! I was on a mission to find a particular dress that was out of stock at the UTC store. When I arrived at the Carlsbad location, I was disappointed to see it wasn't on display. Thankfully, Britney was there to help. She took the initiative to check the back, and miraculously, she found my size! I was so overjoyed that I ended up buying two pairs of shoes to go with it. I didn't know the store closed at 6pm so that was my fault. I was still looking around and the cashier "kenny" said "I can help You over here" but I was still looking and he mentioned they were closed and I aploligozed completely. Then he was aggressively ringing up my clothes I was buying. Then I paid and I had asked for a bag and then he shoved it into the bag so rude. Honestly worst experience ever. I came to H&M today to buy and outfit for my twins photo shoot today. I found so much good stuff. was over all happy with my finds. and the girl at the register was super nice. However the problem was after I paid. I was looking at my receipt and noticed a few items wrung up wrong. I was charged the Canadian price and not the US price. She apologized and refunded me the difference. While being refunded the woman checking out behind me heard what was going on and she checked her receipt and she was charged the Canadian prices for a few of her items too!! My advice would be to check every item at the register and make sure you're being charged the correct price. I'm sure this happens every day and probably to every customer. sad we have to make sure we aren't being priced gouged at every turn/purchase. read more

I'm actually calling about a delivery on online store. Called customer service. They had an old address on file. I updated and entered correctly my new delivery address. They still delivered it to the wrong address. I said I want a refund. They said I had to call back in three days. Technically they should be getting a hold of me because this is their mistake. It said I had two orders as well when I only had one. What should have happened is they immediately refund me. Now I have to wait who knows how long for my money. Horrible horrible customer service. I had Purchased 3 items about 2 weeks ago and I attempted to return two of the items that were purchased from this location. For some reason one of the items was not on the receipt although they were the items that were given to me by the H&M associate so at no fault of my own I was unable to return a product and I am now stuck with a product that I did not need. I attempted to speak to the manager Allie about the situation but she was no help essentially telling me it's out of her control because she has to follow some policies and there was no attempt to help me the customer who had no fault in this. I tried to return a sweater 2 weeks after I bought it with the original receipt and tags attached and I was not able to return it because I didn't have the original method of payment. I was told I had to exchange it for something of the exact same value and couldn't receive store credit. I told them that my card had expired and they said I had to bring a letter from the bank saying a new card is on its way. The company as a whole is ridiculous!. If you are trying to return something without original payment and don't want an even exchange GOOD LUCK! I wish I can give this whole company 0 stars. read more

I just wanted to say thank you to the cute girl on the register, she was really nice and gave me a discount. i didn't see her name tag but i was the really tall guy with a dad hat that she ringed up. i was confused on why the price of the pants was lower and figured out why when i got to my car and saw my receipt. Okay so it has been 3.5 years since this incident, however the amount of trauma I've endured at this H&M still affects me to this day so I'm feeling compelled to leave a review. I went shopping here with my sister and baby who was a few months old. I was a new mom and getting to go shopping was a BIG deal for me. My baby started crying while I was in the dressing room and quickly went from crying to absolute inconsolable screaming. My sister asked to dressing room working if she could stand outside my dressing room and hold the baby for me. The woman said "due to Covid..." blah blah blah. So here I am having a total mental breakdown in the dressing room trying to help my baby while my sister wasn't allowed to help me out so I could at least HANG UP the clothes. Needless to say I wasn't able to try on anything. Word of advice to the staff there...please be more accommodating ESPECIALLY to new moms and those needing a little extra help. read more

Love this H&M location. I come here all the time and the workers are always very nice. Whether it's ringing you up or finding an item in a different size, they are always very sweet. The store is also very clean. Would recommend this location, have not had a bad experience. read more

this store is terrible, unorganized and they have one person at a single register. the registers in the men's section isn't even operational. when i asked an employee on the men's side he directed me to the single open register on the women's side with a long line. the items i purchased were for my daughter, otherwise i would have left the items there and walked out. No wonder online shopping is winning now. read more

My daughter and I love H & M but this one usually has only 2 people working. It's a bummer no customer service and no fashionista running around helping and adding on showing the newest items. Other stores show you what's new, ways to wear it and offer assistance! We always spend a ton! I want to love this location but for now, it's a self help ghost town! Never written a review on Yelp but this really deserved a review! Not my first time in an H&M been coming to one for years now. Love the clothes, super cheap or least affordable. And that's pretty much why I come is the clothes. There's a worker here name Perry and he is awesome! Usually the workers walk right past me when I shop but for once I got some really great service from him! Not sure if he was the manager or what but super friendly, and helpful guy. Not only did he say hi to me when I walked in but he actually was genuinely interested in a conversation. The last time I was here the fitting room were really dirty and this time was no different. I told the girl in the fitting room and she ignored me. Real rude of her but I told Perry and not only did he take my clothes and set them up in the room for me, he literally pulled out a swifter looking thing from nowhere and cleaned it all up! Now I was waiting in line to get rung up. I told him earlier about my daughter and how she was really getting into dresses and unicorns. He remembered and literally brought me a unicorn dress from the kids section. Right size and was only like 5 bucks. When I brought it home, she was freaking out! Perry was helping another woman when I was about to leave but he still managed to say a quick bye and said to come find him next time I came in! Funny enough my husband and I were having lunch at the Cheesecake near the store, and we ran into Perry again after he got off. Same thing, same guy, really outgoing and friendly. I'm glad to know he's the same person even when he's not working. YMMV in an H&M but I'm happy I came in that day and thank you, Perry for all your help. Hope you see this!! read more

5 star service from the girls who helped me tonight! Thank-you so much Emma and Clariza! I went in just to browse and I found so many cute outfits. I am not good at trying on and putting together outfits but luckily Emma was at the fitting room helping and giving great advice! The store was slammed with customers and Clariza had even told me they had quite a few call outs and the staff was still fully engaged, energetic, and the store was immaculate!!!! Huge round of applause to this hard working team and H&M has definitely picked up their style since the last time I had been into one of their locations. Phenomenal prices too!! Beware of profiling by the big dudes who work in the dressing room. I left my dressing room for seconds to show a friend my outfit, and while I was right next door, this big dude came into my dressing room (with the curtain closed!) and swiped my clothes & purse. He never asked if someone was in the dressing room or if the stuff inside belonged to anyone. His only comment was "only one person per dressing room" which he told me AFTER he took my things! (And it is also NOT posted in the dressing room area) I fortunately caught him with my purse in his hands and grabbed it away from him! Funny how I watched a man & woman leave the same dressing room together, as well as a grandmother, her daughter and two children leave the same dressing room as I stood outside my friends dressing room waiting for her to finish. Sad that these two employees feel they can do what they want without respecting other people's property or personal space. H&M at Carlsbad Mall is not a friendly or safe place to shop. read more

The clothing here is okay, it's pretty cheap if you're looking for a bargain. What I didn't like about this store was that there was zero employee interaction. What I also didn't like was that I found something on the sale rack and there was no tag other than one that said it was an extra 30% off. When I came to the counter they couldn't figure out 3 times what the item was or how much it costed. Finally both my friend and I heard them come up with a price and charged $30. Not a big deal but it was a simple shirt and it was on sale and I didn't appreciate them coming up with some price. After that we just left. read more

Came here to return some items I bought online and received horrible customer service. H&M recently extended their in-store return for online purchase to 45 days due to long shipping process but none of the people work at this store know that including the manager!!! They don't even know their own company's policy!!! How incompetent and uninformed!!! They told me my return was late and refused to accept it even after I showed them the policy on the H&M website. They didn't even bother to double check it and just insisted that I was wrong. The manager came up with some bs excuse that his store is different than online store and just wouldn't process my return. He even made a snide remark that he wasn't the one that bought all these clothes in wrong size!!! I called customer service and got a confirmation that my return was not late. Customer service called them to request them to accept my return and they told customer service that I have too many items and they were too busy at the moment to process my return???!!? I ended up went to another store in Fashion Fair & they accepted my return just fine. That was the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life!!! read more

Went to H&M today at The Shoppes at Carlsbad and had a great experience and saved lots of money all because of an employee named Yamilet. She first helped my daughter and I in the dressing rooms and had an amazing and sweet smile. She helped us at the cashier to get a discount and I was able to save so much and get my daughter a lot of clothes. She stayed overtime even after her shift was over just to attend to us and help us choose clothes and find deals. Thank you Yamilet!
