I hadn't been into a Gap store in decades. It was my go-to store for clothing when I was in my early 20s, before everything had gigantic logos plastered on them. This store seemed to have a lot of selection and was well organized. The discounts seemed to be pretty good. Employees were helpful and found an additional discount for our purchases (shorts and a shirt) as we checked out. If the Gap is your style then this store is worth a visit.

They tried to charge me MORE for the exchange! They claimed the exchange cost is based on the going price for that day of the exchange. This place hits the mark in so many ways. They offer incredibly low prices, organized by sex n size AND color!!!! I mean come on, that's beyond awesome!!!! They have changing rooms to try on clothes. They have toys and accessories galore! All good prices for the most part. Books! They have books. Furniture! I mean they are a one stop shop at reasonable prices. Recycling at its best! It stinks the waste that's just existing and being added to hourly, this place gives stuff a second third and who knows how many lives. Such a great idea and we have it right here in Oceanside. I remind him he is testing new items, it's just for a moment then he can test the next item so we can decide. It takes 30 outfitted to find 5 that work, I've offered to put them back where I got them and worker insists you put them on the don't want rack. They have a system and they keep that system well organized. I never want to be a burden but they nicely explained that so it's nice to take my son twice a year to do this routine. They keep their layout the same all these years and well labeled so he can go and know where everything is. As an adult I appreciate this as well. You need a red shirt M, boys. Boom it's organized by precisely that. Need a pair of L green khakis boys... boom, it's precisely organized with those all together. My son saw an action figure he and dad both like and he used his saved up money to get it... it was $9 minus the $5 store bucks I had so he only had to spend $4 for this huge figurine. My husband proudly has it on his office desk and our son plays with it and puts it back. It's such a sweet thing. And this store helps makes these sweet moments (and makes it affordable!). Stopping by the Carlsbad Premium Outlets is a fun outing for anyone looking to shop a nice set of outlet stores in Carlsbad where the weather is typically lovely outside. There are plenty of stores along with some food options. There are some name brand stores and some stores not tied to name brands. There are deals regularly, especially around times like Black Friday and before and after any holiday. I often take a book and read it outside in a comfortable chair (hopefully out of the sun) while waiting for her to shop. When we went with her parents once, I sat with my father-in-law outside and we eventually stopped by Starbucks for a beverage. There are more than 85 stores and restaurants at the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. My wife's favorite is the Ann Taylor Factory Store. There is also a Coach Outlet, Gap Factory, Michael Kors Outlet, and so much more. Some of the restaurant options include a Blaze Pizza, Starbucks (of course!), Jersey Mike's, Ruby's Diner, Rubio's Coastal Grill, Wetzel's Pretzels, Tea Monks, Panda Express, Oasis Tacos, Mot'to Japanese Grill, and Haagen Dazs. There are other restaurants a short drive from the Outlets if more sit-down restaurants are desired. There are plenty of sales, discounts, and deals. The pair of shoes got ruined within a month, which is NOT at all typical of their products. The sandals he was only able to wear them once before they also got ruined. I decided to look into the return policy for defective items. It says on the website that I have 90 days to return the item to the store or set up a way to mail it back. I live about 15 Minutes away and decided to drive back and return them. One of the associates first greeted me at the store and then she called Adriana to help her with the issue. Adriana said right away that I couldn't return the items because it had been more than 60 days and that was their return policy. I told her that the website says something different and only then she decided to try to help me locate the receipt with the worse attitude. I told her how the website gives the option to return items by mail to what she replied that next time that's what I should do because they don't accept used shoes at the store (this is never mentioned anywhere in the return policy). After about 15 minutes she located my receipt with my phone number and gave me the money back. Never did she offer me an exchange or give me a choice. She just gave me cash and said that what she had done was a one time courtesy. I'm only giving them 2 stars because my other visits were great, also because I love their clothes!!! hopefully I don't ever get a defective item again because evidently they are not very nice about dealing with those.

Yeah...call me crazy. I understand that babies make messes and that they have no idea what style or fashion is. But their parent's do, and it's their parents that may care about style and/or fashion. And it's their parent that dress them up in cute outfits and post pics on FB and greeting cards. From what I remember, Oshkosh is a quality brand. However, at the outlet store, I didn't see anything of quality. I was expecting something along the lines of Janie and Jack, but what I got was baby Old-Navy. There's nothing wrong with Old Navy, but don't over-charge items because of your name when you're selling Old Navy-type clothes. Charge for what they're worth.
