This is a very cute place. The lady who owns it is friendly and she has quality at a good price. Thank you for the cake topper!

If you can't find what you're looking for, you can also order it online and pick it up in the store for free. Carter's is my go-to shop for my kids' clothing. Also, for this particular store, the service has always been good when I've been. For some reason, one time when I ordered clothes online it took a really long time to come in (took 9 days when the app said 3-6 business days) but the staff were helpful when I came to ask about it and told me when it would most likely come based on shipment dates.

I haven't been in here for a year, but like the last time I was here the store is always immaculate. On this visit, the store clerk was very friendly and helpful. Making sure to let the customers know that there were great deals going on right now. I was able to find an outfit. I selected something cozy to wear since it's getting chilly. I thought the price to be reasonable (with sale). A lot of cute things with Christmas themed attire displayed at the front of the store. Prices are pretty good, but you got to look for them too. Great store, I would be back if I needed to shop for more cute baby and toddler items.

It sucks because the store is closing and I know that can be a not pleasant time for the staff. That being said we saw the staff helping and answering questions being asked by other customers in the store. Most everything is at least 40% off , we got a good deal on the backpack but I think most other items were around the same price we have seen during other visits here. They have a good variety or clothing and accessories. Especially if you are looking to purchase stuff for Spring/Summer.

I purchased items on a black Friday sale and was told at the time that I could exchange the items if they didn't fit right. Each pair of pants is a little different and 2 of the 6 didn't fit as expected, so I came back to exchange 2. I ended up finding 2 different color pants that fit much better, and both pairs selected to exchange were equal or lesser retail price than my original purchase. So what did they do? They tried to charge me MORE for the exchange! They claimed the exchange cost is based on the going price for that day of the exchange. Sorry Volcom but that's not an exchange- it is a return and repurchase. None of the 3 employees there seemed to care. They were not busy and I guarantee the manger could have made this right but didn't care to do so.

How does this place have such low reviews?! We LOVE this store!!!…read moreMy daughter creates costumes for her schools character day in November and gets almost all her materials from here, she repurposed the fabric and materials. This places helps keep her in budget. She gives her art away but one day she may make it to sell and this helps her practice her creative skills until that day. My son was recently diagnosed with autism and clothes shopping is really really challenging. Plus he grew 4 sizes just this school year so we've had to go through so many clothes. This place hits the mark in so many ways. They offer incredibly low prices, organized by sex n size AND color!!!! I mean come on, that's beyond awesome!!!! They have changing rooms to try on clothes. They have toys and accessories galore! All good prices for the most part. Books! They have books. Furniture! I mean they are a one stop shop at reasonable prices. Recycling at its best! It stinks the waste that's just existing and being added to hourly, this place gives stuff a second third and who knows how many lives. Such a great idea and we have it right here in Oceanside. I wish we had their sister stores here, Platos Closet and Clothes Mentor. Same concept for teens and adults respectively. It is so nice to bring a container of stuff kids don't use or grew out of and yes they are super picky, they have to be, to bring you quality used items they are picky on what they buy. So sure they only buy a few items, but hey, $5 here, $15 there helps! You can use it at store credit, I always do and get store bucks and use it to save even more! While they decide what to buy of my stuff I can go have lunch or run errands, thats nice! Or shop while they go through it. My son has melt downs with certain materials or how some items feel on him, sensory overload. They are short meltdowns but loud and abrupt. I remind him he is testing new items, it's just for a moment then he can test the next item so we can decide. It takes 30 outfitted to find 5 that work, I've offered to put them back where I got them and worker insists you put them on the don't want rack. They have a system and they keep that system well organized. I never want to be a burden but they nicely explained that so it's nice to take my son twice a year to do this routine. They keep their layout the same all these years and well labeled so he can go and know where everything is. As an adult I appreciate this as well. You need a red shirt M, boys. Boom it's organized by precisely that. Need a pair of L green khakis boys... boom, it's precisely organized with those all together. My son saw an action figure he and dad both like and he used his saved up money to get it... it was $9 minus the $5 store bucks I had so he only had to spend $4 for this huge figurine. My husband proudly has it on his office desk and our son plays with it and puts it back. It's such a sweet thing. And this store helps makes these sweet moments (and makes it affordable!). Thank you all for all you do keeping this store in business and running smoothly.

Stopping by the Carlsbad Premium Outlets is a fun outing for anyone looking to shop a nice set of outlet stores in Carlsbad where the weather is typically lovely outside. There are plenty of stores along with some food options. There are some name brand stores and some stores not tied to name brands. There are deals regularly, especially around times like Black Friday and before and after any holiday. I often take a book and read it outside in a comfortable chair (hopefully out of the sun) while waiting for her to shop. When we went with her parents once, I sat with my father-in-law outside and we eventually stopped by Starbucks for a beverage. There are more than 85 stores and restaurants at the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. My wife's favorite is the Ann Taylor Factory Store. There is also a Coach Outlet, Gap Factory, Michael Kors Outlet, and so much more. Some of the restaurant options include a Blaze Pizza, Starbucks (of course!), Jersey Mike's, Ruby's Diner, Rubio's Coastal Grill, Wetzel's Pretzels, Tea Monks, Panda Express, Oasis Tacos, Mot'to Japanese Grill, and Haagen Dazs. There are other restaurants a short drive from the Outlets if more sit-down restaurants are desired. There are plenty of sales, discounts, and deals. Each day, different sales are listed on their website at https://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlet/carlsbad/deals. There are also military, teacher, and student discounts (all published on their website). Be prepared to share IDs accordingly when taking advantage of the discounts. There is also a free Elite Rewards membership, which you can find out more about at https://plus.simon.com. Each store has its own hours though the general hours at 10 AM to 7 PM from Monday through Thursday, 10 AM to 8 PM on Friday and Saturday, and 11 AM to 7 PM on Sunday. Other amenities of the Carlsbad Premium Outlets include accessible parking, ATMs, a baby changing station, bike racks, drinking fountains, EV charging stations, family restrooms, nursing mother's lounge, public restrooms. strollers, wheelchairs, and so much more. The pair of shoes got ruined within a month, which is NOT at all typical of their products. The sandals he was only able to wear them once before they also got ruined. I decided to look into the return policy for defective items. It says on the website that I have 90 days to return the item to the store or set up a way to mail it back. I live about 15 Minutes away and decided to drive back and return them. One of the associates first greeted me at the store and then she called Adriana to help her with the issue. Adriana said right away that I couldn't return the items because it had been more than 60 days and that was their return policy. I told her that the website says something different and only then she decided to try to help me locate the receipt with the worse attitude. I told her how the website gives the option to return items by mail to what she replied that next time that's what I should do because they don't accept used shoes at the store (this is never mentioned anywhere in the return policy). After about 15 minutes she located my receipt with my phone number and gave me the money back. Never did she offer me an exchange or give me a choice. She just gave me cash and said that what she had done was a one time courtesy. I'm only giving them 2 stars because my other visits were great, also because I love their clothes!!! hopefully I don't ever get a defective item again because evidently they are not very nice about dealing with those.

Fast forward 20 some odd years later and I'm back in Oshkosh shopping for baby clothes for my now 25 year-old sister's 2 month-old son. Being that I'm the single uncle, I'm concerned with quality as opposed to price. Call me crazy but I don't mind spending $25-$35 for a polo shirt for a 2 month-old if it's a quality item. Yeah...call me crazy. I understand that babies make messes and that they have no idea what style or fashion is. But their parent's do, and it's their parents that may care about style and/or fashion. And it's their parent that dress them up in cute outfits and post pics on FB and greeting cards. From what I remember, Oshkosh is a quality brand. However, at the outlet store, I didn't see anything of quality. I was expecting something along the lines of Janie and Jack, but what I got was baby Old-Navy. There's nothing wrong with Old Navy, but don't over-charge items because of your name when you're selling Old Navy-type clothes. Charge for what they're worth. That's my gripe and that's why I believe they should better. Because of the name...
