I didn't know this thrift store even existence until I saw it by accident, when I was in the area. This was a cute little shop! They mainly have clothing and shoes, I didn't notice furniture or household items. The prices are decent and offer a sale wall as well. The staff were nice and welcoming which is always appreciated. I definitely will add this to my list of thrift shops. read more

Great spot to find vintage treasures They have some really awesome stuff, but then their selection and turn around isn't always the best. I really enjoy their cheaper clothes outside because you never know what you can find and work with. They do a credit program with their costumers and it's really convenient when you can't sell stuff online. This cute little thrift shop is great for the right shopper, that just wasn't me. The prices were higher than I would expect in a thrift shop. 10/10 RECOMMEND!!!! Even if you're not a thrifter this store is for you! I'm a frequent thrifter, but have recently tried to stop going to corporate owned stores since prices are just outrageous! So when someone recommend this store to me I was eager to go check it out. And man it did not disappoint!! They have a wide selection on men's, women's, kids clothing, home decor, accessories and more! Their prices are extremely good from $2-$5 racks outside to no clothing price (that I saw) over $15! You can find tons of cool vintage pieces and name brands. I definitely will be coming back and can't wait to see more cool finds in the store! read more

The store is definitely a gem. The workers there are very nice, will offer any sort of help if you ask, and are knowledgeable about the process of donation. As a customer, they take lightly used consignment and give back store credit. The owner siphons through all donations and selects which pieces they'll take, and the customer can choose to take back the remaining pieces of clothing, or leave the rest to the store for donation. Because I have not DONE this process yet, I personally cannot attest to how smooth this process is run, but I was explained this by a worker. Unlike many other "thrift shops" nowadays, this place has stayed true to the idea of thrifting and kept prices low. There's quite a large selection throughout the small shop. When I browsed, there were three bins and two clothing racks outside for deeply discounted items. You do have to dig a little, but that's the whole idea of thrifting. Inside products range from small home knick knacks, to clothing, shoes, children products, to jewelry and books. There is no changing/dressing room, but 1 full length mirror that might be occupied by others in the store. read more

This place donated my clothes and doesn't call after they look through them. I dropped them off over 2 months ago to be looked through to be purchased, the chick said the owner was out of town and she would look when she got back. So i agreed and left my clothes, and NEVER heard back. I've checked in repeatedly and could they never find my name in the books. Finally got it all figured out but man, it was too much to figure out for simply just trying to sell clothes. This is an updated version because the tire called me and asked me to take down my original review, but the situation still happened unfortunately. This place is just so amazing! Once you're in, you're not gunna wanna leave!!! It's very well organized, the clothes are all so cute and the best part is it's super affordable! I just recently moved here and have been looking for a good thrift store to satisfy my thrifty itch and this store did not disappoint. I was in there for a little over an hour and I think I went through every rack without realizing that it had already been an hour. The only part I was not able to check out was the home decor section but there is always a next time for that because better believe I will be coming back and back again! This store has such a vintage feel to it and it was definitely my little piece of heaven. The jewelry selection is by far my favorite section of the store. This is a mid size Thrift Store Boutique that has enormous variety of goods to sell that are priced reasonably for the many name brands that they sell. This little store is well organized, great value and good parking! I found a deal on a hard cover John Grisham book for $2 bucks! There were many cute clothing items too! My daughter and I ended up leaving with sunglasses, top, book and a household item. The young gentlemen who checked us out was super conscious of my ceramic dish and wrapped it up so it wouldn't break! All around a good experience. read more

I love this gem of a place when I'm in town in Oceanside I'll always stop by and find great clothes, shoes etc.. I love how the owner doesn't put just anything out on the floor for sale everything here is clean and very gently worn and some never worn. The employees here are always very friendly and helpful. If you want to shop in a clean well organized store with a nice selection go here you won't be disappointed. Love the racks out front great deals every time we go. This place is amazing! Definitely worth making it a spot to check out!! As we where looking for it (hole in the wall) we found it and said "maybe" but we where definitely amazed! Great finds and super chill and friendly...you don't feel awkward or anything. Everything is pre-washed and ready to go. The owner is super nice and has the vibes that she loves her job and what she does (rare to find, everyone hates everything and is rude) she's super nice and kind. I really used to love this place ... Til I brought in a bag of clothing because she used to buy them or give u store credit. Now just credit then they ask u if she don't want them you want to donate them and she donates them to less fortunate people she won't sell the stuff still but she will. I got 3 $ store credit for what she liked tell me y I came back a few weeks later to see the stuff on the racks charging at least five$ when I was told that would not happen. Not to mention she has cool stuff but you'll find everything on the wall or shelf's are not for sell. The sizes are mainly her style n size it's like her closet away from home. Over priced jewelry hardly anything for guys or kids can't buy the cool stuff n there so if your skinny you might be able to find more then anyone else.dont exchange cloths for store credit n if you do don't let them keep where she won't pay for they sell it anyways read more

This place is full of all kind of stuff from Tv's, shoes, jewelry and of course clothes. I ran across this place by mistake but I'm glad I did they have tons of deals. All the employees are volunteers so they do not get paid and all the proceeds go to families in need. It may be a little hard to move around inside because of all the merchandise. I thought brother Bennos was cheap but this place is a steal if you look on the right racks. Remember cash is king. read more

You'll find everything from vintage clothing, furniture, housewares, jewelry, tea, greeting cards. I'm sure there's something for everyone here! Folks have complained about being followed or heavily scrutinized inside. I could see why people might say that, it is a huge space and I'm sure they're trying to deter would be shoplifters. Some of the merchants inside are reasonably priced, others are a little bit more pricey. However, overall, I find that there are much better value than some of the boutiques that line the sidewalks in Oceanside or Carlsbad for instance. I ended up with a couple of air plants, nearly bought a beaded carpet bag type thing, but decided that I don't know when I would use it. They have two other locations in San Diego. Would definitely check them out if I was in the area.

I found this place right after Devon opened it up. She has come along way and I am sure proud of her. She has excellent taste, pays attention to her customers and even picks out things that she knows would look good on you! Now that is a good store owner! The bonus: her prices are VERY reasonable!! How could one go wrong with a store like this? Devon has accessories to match the clothes; both for children and adults. Even men's clothes....something for everyone in the family. I can't rave enough about this store! The best part is the owner, Devon makes the store happen! She is a jewel - and a beautiful one at that! Donating to Kit N Caboodle is one of the joys of my life. Seldom in my life have I had the honor to serve such a noble cause. The first time I entered their store I immediately noticed the children's area that Devin provides in order to give the needy mothers a break so that they can shop in comfort while their kids are occupied. If you ever have a spare moment stop into her store and pick up a treasure for a very good cause do your self a favor and experience the satisfaction of doing something really meaningful to help those who are in need. Really disappointed, I have had a good relationship with the owner but will not be returning after seeing that the dimwit employee allowing an unleashed dog to wander around inside and outside of the store. Life lesson for rude children - not everyone likes dogs and many people fear them in fact. Insanely unprofessional and ignorant. read more

I visited Kit n caboodle and had a great experience. They carry a nice selection of clothing and accessories, and I found a few unique pieces I really liked. The staff was friendly and gave helpful input without being push. The shop has a relaxed vibe and fair prices. I will definitely stop by again. read more

While we were browsing, the lady at the front kept hovering over us as if we were trying to steal something. It was obvious enough that we actually started laughing about it. Combined with how incredibly expensive everything was, we decided not to buy anything. We did use the photo booth a couple of times, which has about a 3 and 1/2 minute processing time. While waiting for our photos to print and looking through them together, we sat on the couch. There was no one else in the store, and we weren't being loud, rude, or causing any problems. Despite that, we were rudely told the couch was only for customers trying on clothes. Didn't know the couch was a dressing room. It felt unnecessary considering we were simply waiting for the photos we had just paid for and were about to leave. The store has a cool concept, but the customer service made it feel unwelcoming. Greet every customer with kindness. Not everyone who walks into your store is out to get you.

Every visit feels like a treasure hunt. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the owner is truly one of my favorite people. You can tell how much care and personality goes into the shop.
