Shopkeeper is a flake. She had a uranium glass jar and offered to me for $18. When I showed her it was uranium glass. She changed her mind and wouldn't sell it to me because she felt it wasn't enough. Poor business attitude! She took an item in from a consigner at a certain price and then changes her mind once she finds out it's valuable This is a reply to shop owners response: You know you did wrong. you took the item in on consignment and with you and the consigning agreed on a percentage in price. You offered to sell this to me at a certain price. But when I let you know, this is uranium glass you changed your mind because you wanted to make more money simple. How does a vendor get away with offering a customer an item at a certain price and then change their mind just prior to selling it when they find out it's worth more than they want to sell it for. read more

Wonderful shop in the middle of downtown Vista. Walked in and was immediately taken by their hat selection. From sunhats to casual hats and newspaper boy hats. I tried on a few and simply couldn't come up with the next time I would actually wear it. I'm a baseball cap type of girl! I always find something unique and cute at this store! It's conveniently located in downtown Vista (Vista Village) close to InZane, Handels, and Shaks. Everything I have purchased is gently used (if used or worn at all). The owner, Natalie does a great job curating the best clothing, jewelry, accessories, and other vintage items. She is also super personable and will give you recommendations if you want. I consider myself pretty fashionable, and have come across a lot of great finds at this shops definitely a jewel of Vista. Ok first I am ASHAMED I have been supporting and getting amazing goods from Twice and haven't written a review please forgive me Natalie! Twice is thee most underrated and overlooked store in Vista! Probably north county honestly. Natalie has really good taste and what she resells is not only fantastic quality but incredible deals. I just got this Urban Outfitters hoodie (that is being resold for $65) for $17 and it is in basically new condition . I've gotten Pilcro (Anthropologie brand) overalls, countless items that are staples still in my closet for the past ten years she's been open! She also has a kitchen section, lots of vintage kitchen ware and such that is so reasonable priced and in great condition. Again her taste is so great it's so fun to shop at Twice!! Support local! Come and just take a peek, like any store sometimes you find something, sometimes you don't but it doesn't make it any less fun or enjoyable :) her store is always a great time!!! read more

I'd leave zero stars if that was an option. My family had never been to the store. Today, I was there with my two teenagers who wanted to check it out. We started with the display outside in front of the shop. As my teenage daughter was looking at the clothes, she realized they weren't for her age. I said only to her, "Yes, these are old lady clothes." The owner or manager happened to walk by at that moment. She looked at me and said, "What? These aren't f$cking old lady clothes!" I was so caught off guard and only thought to say, "Well, I didn't say the eff word." I was shocked by the abhorrent customer service. This shop definitely needs to train their employees (or manager or owner) on how to speak to potential customers. Sadly, they lost one today as I will never support their shop and will share my experience with everyone I know. read more

This store has the cutest stuff! I love the jewelry they sell the most, there's some of the most eclectic costume jewelry I've ever seen in a shop here in Vista. It's a lot of fun, it isn't very extensive with the size selection but that's to be expected with a store like this. The price can be a bit high, but totally worth it. I liked this shop until I was browsing a rack with smaller size clothing and the lady had the audacity to make a comment about how the clothes on the rack were a bit small for me , I brushed it off and kept browsing and when I went to purchase the items, she asked me again if I was sure I wanted to buy the clothes because they seemed a bit small for me. Very rude and unprofessional. I had been shopping for my niece who is a smaller size than I am, but at the end of the day that is not the lady's business to know or to comment about size in the manner she did. This is the cutest little gently used and vintage clothing shop. Located among the up and coming breweries near Vista Main Street. They even have some local "makers" products and lovely jewelry selections. I picked up some Joe's denim and a local screen printed top on my last trip. The owner is helpful and cozy fitting rooms. They do have some toys to offer, but it's a very small section. The collection is eclectic and fun to look through. After reading my friends shout out of this newly, opened store, I had to visit. This is an upscale resale store. The store is nice and open, it has plenty of walking space between the clothing stands. There are some jewelry, some especially handmade by a local artist, and some handbags for sale as well as the clothing. All the clothes that I looked through were in very nice condition. There are a couple of roomy, dressing rooms for your convenience of trying things on. I had a short chat with the friendly owner and she mentioned she try's to place out item's everyday. I love Twice on Main! Their staff is very kind, and I usually always find some treasure there. Their prices are very reasonable, compared to shops down the street where they'll ask $40 for a shirt they'd beg you to take for $2 at Goodwill. The store is clean but the ambiance had the aroma of second hand clothing (which it is but some second hand shops go out of their way to give things a good cleaning to avoid that). Racks are organized but none of the styles really jumped out at me as my own. What they did do right was they had some really cute blazers and jackets.They had really nice special occasion dresses as well. Definitely a must see!! I'm so happy I finally had a chance to stop and check out Twice on Main! So many of the other boutiques on Main Street are over-priced ($40+ for a shirt ) and I was pleasantly surprised to find a shop I can actually afford. Most of the dresses/clothes are priced below $20, their vintage and boho household pieces (Pyrex, etc) are reasonably priced, and they have jewelry and other goodies from local artists priced very reasonably ($10 for a necklace? $6 for earrings? Yes please!). Yes the shop does advertise that they sell used clothing, but this is not a goodwill. It is boutique that sells name-brand, vintage, and designer clothes that are hardly worn and in excellent condition at a REASONABLE price. This place is super cute but they don't have a lot of selection. I liked their jewelry more than the clothes. I brought a bag of clothes to sell and the lady was super picky. There was about a good 6 items that she could have taken off my hands but she had an excuse for all of them which was crappy. She took one sweater for five bucks but didn't even offer me cash! What's the point of selling clothes if you don't get cash for them. I decided to be nice and buy some rings which I ended up paying 8 bucks out of my pocket for. Again, what's the point. Then as I was browsing through the clothes, and there was a huge rack of LuluRoe pants that were on sale and I had a pair of the same brand I was trying to sell and she didn't even take them! That is ridiculous. I really love resale stores and like the fact that I can bring my clothes to sell but what's the point if these places are going to be super picky and only collect "funky" stuff. Twice On Main Street is like the adult version of Buffalo Exchange. They have a lot of jewelry which was my favorite part! Twice hand picks everything and it's all reasonably priced. The owner will give you her opinion on a look that you're thinking about which is pretty rad! They have a lot to choose from; purses, shorts, dresses, hats, sunglasses, and of course shoes. After walking around the Strawberry Festival a couple times, this cute little boutique caught my eye. There was a local artist selling her clothing 'Soul Sisters' and she was really welcoming so I HAD to walk in. The boutique is pretty small but they have a great selection of gently used clothing as well as new items that are from the local artists. I shopped around and found that most items were pretty inexpensive. One thing that caught my eye was a skirt that had not yet been ticketed so I tried it on and asked the owner what she wanted to sell it for. She didn't really seem interested in selling it and she wasn't really very friendly. When she quoted me the price I just didn't think it was appropriate. It was more of a "She looks interested, I'll say any price" sort of thing. After that I decided to not purchase anything and leave. I don't want to give it too bad of stars since their selection is cute being as small as it is. I guess just check it out for yourself. read more

I love supporting local small businesses in Vista, so I decided to give Twice a try after reading such good reviews on Yelp, expecting to feel the same. I walked into the store and the service I received was subpar and I didn't feel welcome. I tried to make conversation but Natalie was very blunt and gave one-worded responses. I get it, straight to the point, but she was very talkative with the other guests in the store, which right off the bat rubbed me the wrong way. I felt discriminated against. I'm a Latina and the other guests were white. Natalie's energy was honestly really weird. I received odd looks from her, but no conversation. After looking through my items, she gave me the option to either choose cash or store credit. I went in thinking I would choose store credit, but I would never offer my business to a discriminatory storefront. Safe to say that I won't be returning. Nobody shouldn't be discriminated against. But the fact that I went out of my way to go to her store in order to support her small business and received the the treatment I did was ridiculous, whether it be buying or selling merchandise. read more

This is a great little place in Vista! Twice isn't your typical resale store with random clothes with no rhyme or reason! Owner Natalie has a fantastic eye for fashion and Twice is always stocked with adorable items at great prices. The interior is very warm and inviting, fabulous decor with a hint of vintage. There's no cluttered feel, everything is placed so that you can flip through the clothes with ease, and the dressing rooms are roomy and comfy. The best part is that I hardly have to do any treasure hunting--the mannequins Natalie throws together are too cute! There needs to be sign in the window that reads "much cheaper than you might think", Twice may look uber upscale and intimidating from the outside but enter and look around the incredible selection for a minute or two and you'll find that everything is so reasonable! Cheap in price but in no way cheap in quality! The store owner prides herself in the items she puts on her sales floor. So many amazing finds, styles are modern and appropriate for the season. Have I even mentioned that Twice is a resale store?! You can't even tell! All the clothing items look and feel new! Make sure you browse through everything this lovely boutique-esque shop has to offer! Bandeaus, shoes, handbags, makeup, hats, jewelry, scarves...so many things! Enjoy the feel of the shop too! It's a very at-home, cozy, vintage feel, but still so contemporary!
