I just had a wonderfullll shopping experience here, walking back to our car from brunch on Sunday around 2pm, my 2.5 year old wandered into the store and right away the wonderful woman at the front desk greeted her and offered her some toys to play with so I could LOOK around the store! I tried on a few things and I was really impressed with the quality, come to find out the suits in store are made from one role of fabric so if there is something I like I can ask about a different size or cut. I think the prices are actually really fair for the quality of the pieces and will def stop in here again- customer service is 100000000000+++++. read more

Ive been coming to boom boom since covid and they always have the cutest things! All of the tops ive gotten from here still are in great condition despite them being my most worn swim suits. They are pricey but the price definitely matches the quality! I come here often whenever i need a gift for a friend and they have such staple pieces. I know when I walk in im definitely purchasing something! They also have great service! Ive dmed them before on instagram about in store availability and they answer pretty quickly! This shop is way too cute and the employees are so nice! I love their bathing suits and they're all relatively inexpensive. Some shops I've found near the beach have suits over $200 and that's just too much for me. I also love their accessories - like silver rings for around $20. They have great necklaces and even a hat embroidery bar! I can't wait to come visit them again! read more

This was the best bikini shopping experience I've ever had! I struggle with finding flattering bottoms since I have a larger booty. Boom Boom is the best place to get cute bikinis. I've seen people of all shapes and sizes shopping for suits. The selection of colors, patterns and styles make this bikini shop the best in the area. The ladies that work here are super helpful & friendly when I want help but also will let me simply browse and do my own thing. I love that they match my energy. I've read some comments about them watching people but I guess since I've worked retail and I understand what they are looking for. Don't be too quick to judge and definitely don't take anything personally...I was at Boom Boom the other day when a lady ran out the door with a handful of suits. She drove off but the police were close behind and she was arrested and suits recovered. Yep, bathing suits. So, be understanding these ladies are doing their job. They also curate a lovely collection of cute clothing, I personally love their t-shirts with positive messages and they have the most comfortable leggings on earth...seriously!!! Prices are inline with other boutiques. I would prefer to give my money to a local store with local employees. I like knowing that my purchases helps support my neighborhoods small businesses. I have been going here for almost 8 years and have never had a negative experience. I love the shop and the people. I continue to shop here because Kind People are my kind of people!!! read more

This store is located next to Revolution Roasters and I happen to finally given into temptation to take a peek at their inventory. It's bad enough that I keep getting pop-up advertisements in my IG to buy bikinis, but I cannot resist as a regular traveler back home to Hawaii. They have so much cute stuff in here! And I appreciate the ability to peruse the bikinis without any pressure from the salesperson. It is a small shop, with many choices. If you're in the Oceanside area this is a must stop even if it's not bikini season they have so much more to offer!! They always have the cutest jewelry and the girls are so helpful every time I'm there! Sad excuse of "customer service". I went to return an item because the quality was so poor and I noticed a stain. Despite being CLEARLY unworn or used, and she would not let me return. She blamed me for the stain that was already there. Uh that's why i'm returning it!?!? I tried to show her that the bathing suit was definitely not used and I just purchased but she couldn't say anything except "sorry no". Why don't you try to come up with a solution for your paying customers next time? I literally purchased it the day before, but no exceptions. Also they only do exchange or store credit: the tell tale signs of a slimey company. Don't take your business here if you value respect and customer service. And don't worry, you can get the same shitty quality from Shein. read more

Not gnna lie this place has cute Bikinis but 102$ for a bikini that's Fkn ridiculous the only reason why I actually went through with it was because I didn't have nothing to wear for a pool party I had to attend that same day! Service was okkay they could be a bit faster and actually focus on the customer instead of socializing with ur coworker all the time.. I love this store and the owner. I love my (modest) tie dye tankini that I got here, though his store has much more than a great selection of bikinis. I love the cute boho jewelry and the comfiest mommy and me stretchy pants! My daughter and I have a few pairs that match and they are the cutest! The sweatshirts are fun with cute sayings--also super cozy. Most importantly the owner has strong values and is an amazing and rooted asset to the Oceanside community. We love BBB!! read more

Wow, such a great place! I had 1 pretty bad experience from another bikini place on the same day that I visited and decided, instead of leaving them a negative Yelp review, I am going to leave Boom Boom Brazil a great review! They have a large selection of bikinis with many different unique fabrics and good quality to matcht. I liked so many bathing suits there that I had a hard time picking just 1-so I will be back for sure! The prices are truly 50% less than the other 2 places I went that day. The customer service was chill but helpful and I am so thankful for that! Not pushy but if they see that you need help they are totally there, especially the owner. I'm not sure if she's the owner or just the manager? Anyhow, I went there first and then shopped around. I came back to get a suit but got buyer's remorse because the top was just too va va va voom for me, once I got home. I went back a couple of days later and was allowed to do an exchange. So my first experience was good and the second ended up even better. Great suits, surprisingly low prices and wonderful customer service. I'll be back! Thanks for everything! :) read more

Not only do they have an incredible selection of gorgeous patterns and styles, but the staff is absolutely wonderful, the prices are amazing, and the quality is better than your brand name stores. Every time I walk in I'm greeted with a smile and their employees cater to my every need, A+++ experience!! My absolute favorite place to buy my bikinis! Everything in this store is affordable especially if you are like me and want really great quality bathing suits. Right now I am loving all the cute one piece bathing suits and here you will find the best ones! There are also sooo many cute cheeky bathing suites! If you want to show some boom boom you have to come here! It is also fun to mix and match top and bottoms as well. There are dressing rooms as well for you to try on stuff. During the summer/mid-day it can get very busy and the fitting room line list can be long. But not to worry you can keep walking around the shop to buy other summer essentials like hats, jewelry, dresses, etc. There is also cute seating outside! I've been a fan of boom boom brazil when she started out not at this location! The owner is great, the bathing suites are so cute and the atmosphere is wonderful! Mostly sold as separates so you can find your perfect sizes which I love since I'm small up top and large bottoms. With their expansion, they've added more than just swimwear. I don't mind the attendant asking her to be careful, it's the way she said it. 5 minutes later my teenager went into the same store and overheard the attendant on the phone with someone saying she just kicked us out. From other reviews on here this seems to be on ongoing issue with the employees. It's all about the TRAINING!!! I like the clothes but I just can't see giving money to this establishment when the employees can't engage. I walked in yesterday and there were two employees who never once said one thing to me. I walked around picked up something I was going to buy and then I put it back because no one spoke to me. This has not been the first time no one has spoken to me. I walked out and down the street and made purchases at two other boutiques because they were friendly and engaging. Please teach your staff how to be kind and welcoming to all. It's really not that hard. The women working here don't seem to care about customer service or they don't know how to engage with customers because they haven't been trained. I still have a gift card to use here and it will be awhile before I decide to use it or give it to someone else.

I decided to contact the store to see if they still had them and the owner Michelle contacted me back immediately and gave me the brand name and I was able to order another one. The thing is Aranelle no longer carries this brand BUT she was able to know what bag I was describing and directed me to where I could find it. That is a woman who knows her store! I was able to order one! Thanks Michelle!

I have passed this place a million times on the corner of Grand and State Sts. Today I wanted a…read moresummer something-or-other for my niece so I bopped in to take a look. They have lots of summer clothing, dresses, skirts, shirts, some men's stuff. Didn't even know they had a back patio until I saw the photos on this site. Will have to try it. The shop is really small and if there are more than 5 people inside it's hard to move around., But I found a great pastel, tie-dyed maxi skirt for $28 and grabbed it. Lots of tshirts here too. If you forgot all your vacation clothes at home, you could re-do your wardrobe in this store.
