I was craving a slice of pizza so I stopped by Grtnak because they had signs out in the plaza that they sold NY style slices. It's a very small hole-in-the-wall type place, but looking at their menu, I saw that they had a pretty decent variety of both Armenian-style and American-style pizzas. I decided to just grab a supreme slice which came out to about $5. I thought the slice was decent--it had a nice amount of toppings and wasn't too small. The slice came out piping hot and I did like the crispy crust. While I was there, I saw other peoples' orders, and it made me want to return to try some of the Armenian style pizzas. Overall I'm very happy that once again there's a place down my street where I can find single slices of pizza, because that can be tricky. Service was quick and they have a loyalty program as well!

First time trying Armenian food, and everything we tried was excellent! The woman working when we arrived was very welcoming, and we enjoyed the music. There are a couple counters and a table to eat in, and lots of people took food to-go. All of the bread was perfectly done- the puff pastry, pizza and lahmajo dough, golden pocket exterior- wow. My husband reported that the pizza was so good that if we lived in this area, he'd be a regular just for the pizza! The blueberry gata was like a layered, denser, better version of a blueberry muffin. I'd definitely recommend ordering several things to try- don't think it's possible to go wrong here! It's also very reasonably priced.

Absolutely the best! I have tried 7 spots for lamajun in the surrounding area and this one is definitely my favorite! While other places have thick dough and hardly any meat... or just lack flavor...this place reigns superior! They do it the way their ancestors taught them, without compromise! I can taste the hard work and love! Super high quality ingredients! Artesian knowledge of dough! It is thin and crispy! They do not skimp on ingredients like so many others... and only use the best! Also! The flavor is amazing!!! Absolutely recommend anyone and everyone to this hidden jewel! And being a family owned business, you get taken care of, like you are one of them! Just lovely all around!

One of the best Adjarski in the game. The bread loaf boat is baked with cheese and egg inside. How could something so simple be so incredibly delicious? Well, in Grtnak, they know what they are doing and they are the go-to spot of the neighbourhood. The bread is baked perfectly, with a bit crunchy well-done outer layer and light-pillowy on the inside. You tear off a piece and dip it into the delicious mixture of their baked cheese and egg, spiked up with some pepper on top and you're like, this day truly went right. This and their Lahmajo is a must try. The place is a small to-go spot with a couple of tables for dining in. Always friendly customer service. Highly recommend!

I have been wanting to try this place out for months now and finally I got to eat lunch with my son yesterday. I have heard good things about Grtnak and it did not disappoint. First of all very welcoming and friendly service, the lady at the register went over the menu and made recommendations to us. We ended up ordering a large lahmajun, a steak sandwich and a chicken samsa. The lahmajun was delicious. Crispy and flavorful. Loved it. The sandwich was tasty too but the sauce was a bit too much for me. My son loved it. The samsa was cold inside so I'm not sure if it's suppose to be cold or served warm. I'll find out next time. The location is great and parking was easy to find. Keep up with the great service and the delicious food ...

I came here once before with my son and nephew and loved it. I landed in LA and my friend picked me up and we happened to be driving by and came in. I was skeptical because sometimes you go back to a place and it's not as good - but it was the same goodness. The lady that man's the register remembered me and asked where the kids were. They're very warm. We had an Adjaraki with jalapeño and a lehmejune. Divine. The crust is cooked to crisp perfection but the cheese and eggs are soft and amazing. The music and the environment is always warm and inviting. Definitely recommend.

First off the customer service was AMAZING.. I saw an ad in Tik Tok about their flat bread basturma cheese dish... wow. Amazing. It's the perfect armenian breakfast dish with perfect amount of crisp. They also have a specialty Gata with blueberries, probably better quality than any of the Gatas at any Armenian stores! Price A+ customer service A+ food A+

I've been craving Lahmajoo for a very long time to where I would think about having one but not know where to go that is close to me. I was so surprised when I found Grtnak. I never there was a Starbucks, a Subway and other businesses in the same plaza. I love the parking lot because it's free and large. I ordered the Large Lahmajoo and she told me it will be ready in 6-7 minutes. She was on point. I took the Lahmajoo as a take-out but I came in person to check the place out. The place was clean. The menu is simple and easy to read. There is a tv screen next to the menu with pleasant nature sceneries. I was waiting and enjoying the pop Armenian music playing in the shop. She said my order is ready and the Lahmajoo was fresh and hot as I saw the steam come out as she boxed it for me. I noticed the Lahmajoo will be served on pizza board if you eat inside which I thought was a nice artisan touch to presentation. I really enjoyed the Lahmajoo! I was sad I ate it so fast and think next time I should order 2 or 3! It may be filling for some people but the dough gives the appearance like a flatbread but it actually is quite airy, crisp, and light. I will be back for more! *I suggest ordering at least 2 to feel full. *Came with lemon on the side to squeeze on top. So good with the lemon! I would have never known. *Leave them a Yelp Review and get a free drink. Great!

Wow, what a fantastic surprise. Greeted by a wonderful server who gave me the best advice on what to order , and the food could not have been better! Absolutely delicious. Very cool and unpretentious spot - and well with the trip out here even if you're not just driving past as i was. Highly recommend!!!!

I was very excited to try this place, based on photos alone I had a great feeling that the quality here would be great, happy to report it was :). Service was great, very friendly, you could tell they were packed with orders and they were running an efficient operation getting orders going. Some of the items do take awhile, our ajarski khachapuri took about 45 minutes :/. The breakfast khachapuri and lahmajo took 25-35. Their lahmajo was honestly one of the best I've ever had, definitely top 2 in my book. The bread on it was perfect, very thin and homemade. Their breakfast khachapuri was a perfect size and had great flavors. We also enjoyed sharing the ajarski khachapuri (cheese was perfect), we added an extra egg to make it three eggs and I highly recommend doing the same if you order. Overall, definitely worth a visit, and there is plenty of parking here. You can always call ahead and place an order, or order to go.

You know when you try a new dish and it just amazes you and you can't stop talking about it. Well this place was it for me. Savory delectable flatbread style perfect for breakfast. I was worried it would be too heavy or dry but everything was so light and flavorful. No additional seasoning or sauces needed. So good, that we ordered more to go. But I think it's best enjoyed in person while everything is still hot and crispy. The staff were very approachable and educated us on the different things we could order from. Grtnak is a must try! I went in for a quick lunch and have been hooked on their lamahjun rolls and the perashki! The lamahjun rolls are such delicious twist to traditional lamahjun. The perashki is the best I have had. It is freshly made to order. The dough is light and delicious! I have tried the cheese, spicy cheese, potato and meat and all are delicious! The service is beyond amazing! Professional, kind and welcoming whether you are on the phone with them ordering or you are picking up your order. This place is a hidden gem! Everything on the menu looks tempting, but the Eggs on a Boat (Adjarakan) is hands down the best I've had -- perfectly baked bread, rich melted cheese, and eggs cooked just right. Fresh, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. If you come here, do not skip the Eggs on a Boat -- it's absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Outstanding pizza! I've tried their NY style before but had to try the "Thinny-Thin" Chicago Style tonight. The crust was wafer-thin and crisp in all the right places. Very Delicious! We just found this place by happen stance. My fiancé drove by and saw a sign for NY Style Pizza. We live close and had to try. Absolutely fantastic. Fresh made to order. We had the pepperoni and BBQ chicken. Both tasted amazing. The owners were extremely welcoming and even threw in a free dessert for it being our first time. We will be back! read more

I've tried Lamajoun & many foods that this restaurant makes... but this restaurant specifically makes their food with LOVE and it's evident in the taste. If you want a satisfying breakfast/lunch, this place is the place to go. From their excellent customer service to their flavorful meals, I was so happy I ate from here 3 days in a row! Omg!!! MUST TRY!!! Their foods are amazing. Fresh and different from other places. We order couple of times, always nice customer service and quality is the same. Just amazing!! If you want to try something different but absolutely outstanding you MUST try this place. Forget that you can't pronounce the stuff on the menu and forget that you can't pronounce the name of the restaurant, just go try it!! If you're a foodie you will love it! This place has very delicious food. New to Burbank and I ordered almost every item on the menu. The cheese lajmajos were very good and had nice and crispy edges. The flavor for the meat on the lajmajo is very delicious. Prices are very reasonable not much different than of the other spots in the area. Their lahmaju is amazing! Service - pleasant and sweet. Ordered 5:44 and picked up at 6:05, just like the lady on the phone said. The only thing is, they didn't have a tip option on the merchant app and I didn't have cash on me to tip. I personally like to appreciate those who make my food so it felt wrong for me not to tip! I'm not even kidding - it looked like the sink hadn't been cleaned in months, there was grime everywhere and even a dead cockroach, belly up on the floor. This is first thing in the morning when they opened. It had me looking around at other parts of this coffee shop like behind the counter and on the floor and I don't know what happened since last time but it was grimy. Their grab and go fridge was also nearly empty, which I thought was weird. Did something happen? Anyway, I hope they fix all that because otherwise, this is a great little place with a good menu and nice people who work there.

Music level, lighting, attentiveness... nothing. Was anything right during COVID? I was horrified to find out that my review was still up because it's no longer true. We have been to Granville many times in the past couple years and haven't had bad service or a bad meal yet. The wait staff is pleasant and professional and we really do enjoy the food. My partner especially enjoys the Wagyu Beef Stroganoff. I enjoy the Bacon and Bleu Burger, as well as the spring salad with chicken. The Santa Barbara Chicken Sandwich is also very good. So many good options. And yes, the wait staff is wonderful!

I'm a big foodie and hit up lots of different restaurants around LA, and Finney's in Burbank has definitely become my go-to spot. Allison does such a great job of providing a great customer experience from the moment I walk in to paying my tab. It's not just her welcoming demeanor, but it's also the same positive energy I see in the staff when she's running things. It's nice to know there are still places that care about a great customer experience and making you and your friends right at home, especially when you're celebrating with some of your closest friends and creating perhaps some of your final memories of LA.

The live music is also a plus, adding in to the atmosphere of this place. However, the first time I came here I was seated to a loudspeaker that was a bit loud for my taste. Service is also good, and were accomodating enough for a good time. Overall, I'd want to come here again just to try the desserts. One caveat is to come here if you check in early morning for a good weekend brunch, around 9-9:30am, which I did during my second visit here, as their peak times are roughly around noon.

First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. The food and cafe de olla are worth it.

Seated & had a question for the waiter, but she was unsure, said she'd be back with the answer and disappeared for 15-20 mins and came back with no info, she had forgot what I had asked her. It was a simple question, just asked if they still had the Birria quezadillas, she had said yes & I asked for the price becus I couldn't find it on the menu, thats when she said she'd find out the price and didn't return for a long awhile. Then when she came back she forgot and just said "they dnt sell um anymore" She seemed disconnected and so unsure. A waiter should know the menu & what is discontinued. Or at the least find out and return quickly with the info, not take long and come back having forgot to even find out. But ok, no problem we just got our drinks and the café de Olla was good. The food arrived and the rice stood out more than the Chilaquiles. The pancakes were small for the price & didnt have much flavor, once the toppings were gone the pancakes were bland. Came here becus I saw comments online, but I dont think I'd go back, there are many other places with outstanding food & service. The Mexican rice & Café de olla were the standouts of the meal. If you live nearby I could see this being a good place to enjoy a meal, but to come in from farther out isn't worth the drive.

I had such an amazing experience at Grtnak! The service was truly exceptional from start to finish. I tried the lahmajun and blueberry gata--both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. What really stood out was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner has such a great personality--he took the time to tell us about his new products, let us sample them, and even sent us home with one to go. That kind of hospitality is rare these days and made the experience extra special. The lady who took our order was also so kind, positive, and welcoming--it really made us feel at home. I'll definitely be going back to try more items off the menu. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for delicious food and genuinely pleasant service! read more

The place was easy to find and plenty of parking with many shops around to visit, to walk off some of the goodies you will eat at Grtnak restaurant. The environment is easy going and felt just right. The ambience is welcoming. The food was REALLY GOOD! I tried almost everything on the menu and it all was very tasty and easy to eat. I tried the breakfast Lahma The Lahmajo (meat) and the Lahmacheese (cheese). They were amazingly delicious and easy to eat. I could probably eat 5 of them. Sooooo gooood! Found this place by accident, and I'm glad I did. It's a little hidden, but worth it. I got a slice of pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni had a nice little spice, the cheese was balanced, and the crust was just right--crispy with a bit of chew. I also tried a dessert, and it was really good--sweet, warm, and hit the spot.
