Some of the best pastries I've had! Everything was delicious and clearly made with care. The worker who helped us was incredibly friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. We got to try some free baklava samples and it didn't disappoint. Great service and amazing pastries. Definitely gonna be coming back

    Old/dry so disappointed

I would look forward to stopping by at their granada hills location literally every time I was in the area and got so excited when they opened a spot in burbank. I stopped by early this morning and got a few of my usual assuming it's as fresh as their other location and I'm giving 4 stars just out of generosity, otherwise I'd give it a 1 star for how inedible my selections were. I understand it's not as busy as their granada location so items may sit for a few days, then I suggest making smaller batches or reviewing shelf life before selling to customers.

The baklava is so delicious and I always love to eat their knafe in the mornings on my way to work.

The young woman at the window greeted us with a warm smile and took the time to explain all of the delicious food they offer. Then we met the owners, who welcomed us like family and made us feel genuinely appreciated. That kind of heartfelt hospitality is hard to find these days, but it's exactly what sets this place apart. We tried the apple fritter, glazed donut, blueberry scone, cinnamon balls, and three different drinks. Every single item was outstanding. The apple fritter tasted just like an apple pie, the blueberry scone was perfectly baked and full of flavor, and the glazed donut was light, fresh, and absolutely perfect. The cinnamon balls reminded us of fresh churros and were a huge hit. As if the food wasn't enough, one of the owners generously gave us a chocolate cookie made with imported chocolate from France. It was incredible--easily one of the top three cookies I've ever had. We'll definitely be coming back for the amazing food, but even more for the kindness and love we felt from the owners. Thank you to everyone at Ballers and Brew for making our visit so memorable. We wish you nothing but continued success and can't wait to come back!

I went for the first time, excited to try a spot nearby. I always order a vanilla latte whenever I try somewhere new as my litmus test. This one was not great. The coffee flavor felt oily and the vanilla wasn't cutting through it. The worker was super friendly and their menu had a lot of variety. I'd recommend trying one of their specialty drinks and trying a sweet treat! I can't have dairy, so always am limited in my options. I will say, this is on the more expensive side! For a 16oz iced vanilla latte with oat milk, I was out around $10! Plenty of seating, cute merch, great service, not a spot for a plain latte.

THEY will NEVER MATTER after you've tried the doughnuts and other baked & fried yummerz here! They put love into their product. Why do I say that? Because they put pride in their product. As a chef I understand the complexities that go into making something as seemingly innocuous as a doughnut or donut - however you may spell it. The right ingredients in PERFECT proportions... The perfect temp & thickness... The perfect wait for the perfect rise... The perfect oil temps... (the oil they use is ALWAYS FRESH! In all the years I've been coming here - 39 years & counting, and the hands it has changed the quality has never waned. The transitions were seamless. FOLKS That never happens! And now, the three ladies that run it now have STEPPED IT UP!! You cannot go wrong with any of the MANY options they offer. From GIANT DONUTS to Croissant, buttermilks, raised, fritters, rolls, muffins, and more - oh and coffee - you will never go wrong here. When I encounter a grubbery that seems TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE - I return several times to see if it was a fluke or a way of business. I tried finding a flaw. ANY FLAW. They don't exist here. The ladies are friendly, professional and courteous. I drive 10 miles out of my way to purchase the baked goods here for all the reasons I listed above. There is plenty of parking and they actually have a table outside for ambiance as well as convenience of enjoying it IMMEDIATELY! I'm sure once you tried The Doughnut Hut you'll feel the same way! The staff was also very friendly and provided great service. Unfortunately, the pastries themselves were a major disappointment. Being generous, I'd rate the taste a 1/5 and the value a 0/5. About 90% of what I had was just cream filling with very little flavor. They looked incredible but tasted bland and one-dimensional. For the prices they charge, I expected much more. What makes it even harder to justify is that they're priced similarly to Artelice, which not only delivers on presentation but also on taste. In my opinion, Artelice is in a completely different league. If you're nearby and need a one time gift for someone you'll probably never buy pastries for again, sure, these might impress visually. But if you're buying for yourself or for people whose opinion you'll actually hear again, this is a hard pass. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 10 minutes to Artelice. You'll get pastries that are just as beautiful and significantly more delicious. I left genuinely disappointed and won't be returning. One star is for the aesthetics, and the other two stars are for the friendly service. The pastries themselves simply didn't live up to their appearance.
