Iced Organic Strawberry Matcha Sugar Cinnamon Ballers
    Dakota D.

New obsession! Got the strawberry matcha, best in Burbank!!!!! The cinnamon ballers are amazing crispy outside fluffy inside.

If I could rate this place higher than 5 stars I would!! The worker I interacted with was one of the sweetest people I have spoken to in a while. You can completely tell she is passionate about her work and I got that vibe from the others there as well. My cold brew was tasty and based on the workers recommendation I got their chocolate chip cookie which was an absolute hit! If you can masters great chocolate chip cookie that is a great sign for what else you carry. I had mentioned this was my first time and I was given a small bag of cinnamon "ballers" which was super nice of them! The ballers are not inherently sweet which I truly appreciated, the topping is what gives it sweetness which makes it perfectly balanced in my book. I'm not in the area often but when I'm here next I will be stopping in!!

My first time here and Lidia was such a pleasure to talk to! She walked me through their menu and provided options based on my taste. The coffee was absolutely amazing. The horchata was incredible and homemade. Would definitely recommend this spot! Customer service and drinks were 10/10 Also, try the "ballers" they are delicious!!

Heading to what used to be known as Bob Hope Airport for a flight I got to the area early and looked on the trusty Yelp app for Best Independent coffee nearby and found this place..... Made the drive there and kind of disappointed it wasn't an indoor place... But kinda lucked out that the Latte was awesome and the Blueberry Scone was incredible..... Employees were cool and there were a few seats available in the shade..... If this was closer to home I'd be there more often but I don't generally eat pastries anymore but that was worth the try!!!! Now I think everyone should give this awesome place a try!!!!!

We came here on a Saturday early afternoon. The two ladies working were amazing and kind. We ordered Birthday Cake Ballers. It was our first time checking this place out and we were delighted when one of the ladies gave them to us on the house! We ordered two iced drinks- one cold brew(two pumps of cinnamon syrup) & oat milk, and a cold brew with a pump of blueberry syrup & oat milk. They have various sizes and accessibility to request what you'd like a la Starbucks style. Our drinks tasted like the ones I make at home so that's a good thing! The coffee was fresh, the ballers were exquisite. The ambience was chill with Frank Sinatra classics as background. We loved it. Totally worth checking out again.

Ballers & Brew is such a hidden gem! I've come here a couple times and had a great experience each time. I highly recommend their ballers and their breakfast bagel. They're so good especially when you eat it straight away. The workers there are friendly and they have a huge variety of menu items. Looking forward to the next time I treat myself out to this place.

Awesome place!!! The staff were so welcoming and patient with us! I got the Oreo iced latte and wow was it the most amazing thing ice ever had. We didn't get to try the donut balls but will definitely be coming back for that! They had freshly baked cookies and offered us one to try which was just soooo ooey gooey it was perfect. Definitely recommend coming here

Vietnamese Coffee was a little too sweet than I've had from other locations but still is mighty tasty. 3/5

Friendly employees and my vanilla latte taste okay but I'm definitely not going to switch over to drinking coffee here. I think their donuts look beautiful. Nice and fluffy and perfect for sharing on IG but the taste throws me off. I see this place packed every Sunday morning but I managed to try this place before the crowd comes and I'm greeted with smiles and the wait time is super quick. I'm going to move my review up to a solid 3.

    Very Berry Ballers

My friend (who only drinks organic coffee) introduced me to this place! We took a walk there from her place and I was glad to discover this cute and intimate spot. There was barely anyone when we arrived. The service was very friendly, warm and welcoming. Big menu for a small place. The Vanilla Bean Smoothie I ordered was good (although I don't know if it would order it again). It was quite sweet but I knew that and therefore did not mind. The taste was somewhat comparable to the Starbucks Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. We also got the Very Berry Ballers and they were good, but same thing, they were super sweet and I likely won't be ordering again. I took a sip of my friend's iced coffee and it was so delicious! Probably will get that next time!

    Nutella ballers

We visited for the first time and were very pleased. We ordered a dozen mixed donuts with a few filled plus a 12 piece ballers w/ nutella, apple fritter and an eggnog latte. Everything was very tasty. The doughnuts are huge fluffy beauties and not overly sweet. Sometimes filled doughnuts have an almost jam/jelly level sweetness which is too much, but the lemon and raspberry filled were perfectly balanced tart/sweet! The ballers are served warm and craveable! The eggnog latte was flavorful, clearly tasting of cinnamon and nutmeg. It was a tad too sweet, but that didnt stop me from enjoying every drop. Evelyn was very helpful and answered all our questions. There was parking right in front and ample seating in cute orange chairs that were surprisingly comfy. Our only issue was that we ordered the 12 piece ballers and only got 9...but then upon opening all our boxes we were pleasantly surprised to find we had an extra apple fritter so no harm no foul. We'll definitely be back when the urge for donuts hits...and i really want to try their flaky empanadas. Overheard some other customers raving about them while we were waiting.

This is a great neighborhood coffee shop in Burbank :) Great drinks & food along with friendly service! Everything here looks sooo good but I recommend their signature Ballers! They look like but are different, and better, then simple donut holes. Crispy on the outside, light & fluffy on the inside such a perfect treat :) We chose the Maple topped and they were delicious, warm right out of the cooker :) :) :) For drinks we had a Pumpkin Chai Iced Latte & Flat White. Both drinks were good; 6-Stars for the latte & 4-Stars for the Flat White. The shop has a very relaxed atmosphere with covered outdoor seating and a very friendly staff. Plenty of free street parking in a clean safe area. Can't wait to come back :)

She was soo happy when I gave her the donut & told her that you had sent her a big hug :) She said to tell you thank you for the delicious donuts & she send big warm hugs as well thank you for being the #1 donut shop in the community. This is always my go to spot for fresh donuts & coffee The staff is amazing !!! Environment is very friendly

We loved the book vending machine in there. My cousin couldn't resist and grabbed a book from it. I was a little groggy, so I went for something strong. Opted for the Grizzly Latte but didn't want the full 4 shots. The barista was super helpful and recommended the Mini Grizzly (3 shots). It hit the spot, bold espresso with just the right hint of sweetness. I also snagged two delicious cookies to share with my son, which vanished in under 10 minutes. My cousin got a strawberry matcha and really enjoyed it too. Greatl spot with friendly service. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Burbank.

The…read moredrinks are ok, nothing you can't get at any of the other 20 coffee shops in Burbank, but the reason I won't come here anymore is the service. The times I've been here, the owner has been the person who's taking orders at the register. Both times I've seen her be very warm and welcoming to the person in front of and behind me (one of which was my friend) and then as soon as I come up to place my order I just get a "what can I get for you" and kind of a whole attitude switch. This happened on my very first visit to this coffee shop so I don't think I did anything wrong? I have worked many customer service jobs so I always approach the counter with a "hi, how are you" and try to have a pleasant demeanor. I try not to let it bother me but it's hard not to notice the immediate switch from the interaction of the person in front of me. Now, I don't need people to be nice to me but I would like the same common courtesy I try to give. This happened on two other occasions and it's clear to me I just don't need to be going here. Maybe if the coffee were exceptional I could get over the service, but that isn't the case. I got an espresso tonic that was just ok. Glad people in Burbank like this shop but it's a chop for me.

The morning we were about to make our trek, our daughter wanted to take us to a coffee shop she recently found. The Hide Room is not only a coffee shop, but it also houses a barber shop. This bald dude wasn't in need of a barber, but having some java was a must before driving for almost 6 hours. The coffee I ordered initially tasted just okay, but there was a delayed response and I enjoyed it. What I enjoyed about my first visit to The Hide Room was the quality customer service from Isaiah, the Filipino gentleman in glasses. The Hide Room is located in Los Angeles, specifically on Victory Blvd. in Burbank. It's a combo shop that houses both a coffee shop and barber shop. It's next to Centanni Italian Restaurant and across from Bright Now Dental. Parking is all street parking. The coffee shop isn't too big with no indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating with several yellow metal round tables, metal yellow chairs, and a yellow umbrella for shade. When you walk into The Hide Room, it's pretty cool to see half of the space is a barber shop where the owner was cutting someone's hair and the other half is a coffee joint. Their coffee is sourced from Guatemala, so the decor consists of framed pics of Guatemala images, coffee bean bags hanging, and an ornate, woven cloth attached to another wall. Isaiah, the barista behind the counter provided quality customer service by giving us coffee recommendations and he was so accommodating answering my questions about the business. I think this was the first time for me to see a business that was a coffee shop and barber shop all in one building. Isaiah told me the owner, who was there cutting someone's hair, wanted to incorporate haircuts and coffee in one building. We entered through one door for the coffee shop and if you'd like a haircut, you can continue through another door into what looked like an upscale, old school barber shop. I wasn't sure what to order, but my usual go to at branded coffee shops is a white chocolate mocha with hazelnut. I decided on a mocha with hazelnut flavoring. When I took my first sip, I really couldn't taste the coffee or the hazelnut flavoring. After taking a few more sips, I wished I had asked for it to be sweeter. I guess it takes a little while to appreciate the coffee because I had a delayed response to my coffee from The Hide Room. I actually enjoyed the coffee after drinking it for a little while. I'll need to try one of their signature coffees the next time I visit. I really liked the concept of The Hide Room with its combo coffee shop and barber shop. I no longer need haircuts since I'm bald, but I recommend you check out this hipster spot with its Guatemala coffee and quality customer service from its staff.

It's the hot coffee you brew plus ice. Last I checked, that was the most common coffee order in the US. Ended up with a cold brew, which is not the same thing as iced coffee (and again... a "world famous coffee house" should know this). Cold brew has a different flavor profile and more caffeine. Either the employee is really uninformed about the most basic things about coffee or this business refuses to pour their normal medium/dark/flavored roast coffee over ice because they charge twice as much for cold brew... neither of which is acceptable. If you want to wait in a 30-minute line with kids running into you and the decor completely unattended, and overpay for a drink that wasn't what you ordered... this is the place for you.
