We were here for the drinks not food, service was nice, we had a group of friends together and I (not sure if he is the owner), he was kind enough to bring us our drinks. This place is totally casual. When we arrived there were plenty of parking. I had to Coconut Milk Tea, it was yummy.

Of all the hidden gems in Burbank, this one tops the list! They serve boba, but the food is insanely good. As a 626 transplant, the food here is as good as what you can find out east. We got the cumin lamb, string beans, popcorn chicken and noodles and everything was delicious! Their popcorn chicken is so good and kid approved! My toddler says this is his favorite popcorn chicken in the area. We'll definitely be back and can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

This is a small cafe in a strip mall next to Wingstop. It can be a little difficult to find, because the front says "Bobawok" but there's a sign on the door saying Favoritea. Ive been a couple times. The popcorn chicken is really good, and so are the drinks. The mocha coffee I got was great. The spicy cumin beef I tried was just ok, nothing amazing. They messed up my order the first time I came and didn't seem to care too much, I asked for the popcorn chicken meal and they gave me the appetizer. This is a solid choice in the area but wouldn't go too far to try it.

Watermelon tea with rainbow jelly...incredibly refreshing. Not too sweet. Actual watermelon in it. Highly recommend

I really love this place. It's unfortunate it's in such a dead shopping center, but please don't let that deter you from trying this hole in the wall....the place isn't fancy but service is friendly, food delicious with generous portions (my fave hot n' sour soup ever), and great drinks. My favorite has to be the watermelon tea! Incredibly refreshing with real crushed watermelon. I also admire hardworking immigrants pursuing their American dream. It's definitely a family doing everything they can to make it work so when you buy a drink or meal, you know it's going to their children's school, rent...the basics....despite the challenges of language, location, etc, they work together to make the customer's experience a happy one.

Don't be fooled by the dying strip mall it's housed in, this hidden gem is worth a visit. It gives divey vibes with dirty floors and clutter all around, but the boba is better than any I've had in Burbank so far and the food was fresh, well prepared, and the staff nice enough. It's totally a mom and pop joint. The staff is eating their dinners at the tables during downtime, but the chef came out to verify my allergies to make sure I could eat everything he was making. Be sure to check the half meal special that you can add a milk, black, or Thai tea and add boba. And speaking of boba. The regular sweet level is a little too much for me, but the taste of the r milk tea was deep and rich. The boba balls were perfect texture and flavor. I wish they had a fresh milk option but was happy to see an oat milk for peeps who want that!

So good will definitely be coming back! One of the best popcorn chickens I've had. Menu has many options too

I stumbled upon this cafe in Burbank, CA was because I was starting to support local biz in Upscale LA cities such as this. When I arrived at this Cafe, the front sign posted, 'Soft Opening,' so I suppose they just recently opened for their biz. That and I went with what fellow Yelpers raved about their popular dish, 'Popcorn Chicken,' so I decided to try that dish instead of a drink. Boy, that dish was extremely fulfilling!!!! 'Favoritea,' served a huge portion of their 'Popcorn Chicken,' which were all properly cooked piece by piece. I had already chowed half down by the time I got home. Service was fast and efficient, I received my order within less than 20min of a wait time after placing order. This Cafe was located in a huge plaza, so parking was free and easy. I'll be back again soon next time I'll be in Burbank, CA.

This place used to be a Chinese food to go. It looks like the new owners kept the old set up and just added their own menu technology. The ambience is very out dated and there are boxes under the tables at the front counter. The service is quick and friendly. This is my second time here because I fell in love with the lychee slush with lychee jelly. My daughter got the same but with boba. The drink is pretty large and lasted a long time. There's not a lot of customers but the food looks good.

My son didn't make a reservation because it was a Wednesday night and he didn't think it would be crowded. But with 5 adults and a baby carriage, we had to wait for the right table because the somewhat small restaurant was full. We soon got a good spot and ordered the shrimp ceviche and the pan fried dumplings for appetizers. The ceviche was served on a bed of crispy noodles and it was refreshing and satisfying. The dumplings were crispy, not greasy, and flavorful. For dinner, we got 2 orders of japchae and 3 orders of bibimbap. With 2 Korean-born children and having visited the country, those are among our family's favorite dishes. And they did not disappoint. The japchae noodles were just right. They were not too firm and not too soft and well-seasoned. With a mixture of veggies, meat, mushrooms, eggs, and that delectable sauce, the bibimbap tickled and satiated the tastebuds. I told the server there was a birthday at the table and she brought out an excellent creme brulee with a candle in it. My husband and I didn't pay the bill. But the prices were reasonable with most of the entrees costing less than $20 each. We have four more days in town and may very well make another visit to indulge in that scrumptious food.

Beef pho hit the spot, perfect temp broth to wilt the herbs and sprouts, savory flavor, and tasty meats. The taco was a surprising hit, beef was the same from the pho topped with pickled onions. Must have with a spritz of lime and sriracha. Service was great, server was helpful, and friendly. Talked about the specials and took care of the rest. The restaurant has a charming fresh feel, nice decor and ample seating for groups. It was a little warm this summer afternoon but in all honesty it kinda added to the ambiance and reminded me a little of eating in Hanoi. All-in-all happy with my dining experience and will gladly add Lotus & Light in my pho round up.

I even verified with the girl on the phone when placing the order i wanted jalapenos. The banh mi has no jalapenos, half the sandwich is daikon and carrots with a cucumber and the thinnest layer of overcooked beef on top. I ordered last month 2 banh mi and egg rolls. Banh mi had no jalapenos either, the egg rolls were missing lettuce wraps and the sauce was half the to go container. I've eaten here in person and received lettuce when eating in the restaurant, their yelp photos show lettuce wraps with the egg rolls. But every time i ordered egg rolls for takeout it is missing lettuce wraps. The one time i ordered and got the lettuce wraps with egg rolls, i had to explicitly tell them to add it that time. I thought this placed served the food as it should be in their culture? I've held back leaving a bad review of this place because i thought they would somehow improve or it was a one off mistake but this was the final straw. Consistently screwing up or intentionally holding back ingredients on takeout orders crazy. How much are you actually saving by with holding lettuce, sauce, and jalapenos??? This place used to be good, now it's just another above average spot. If you want banh mi, go somewhere else and be less disappointed.

The roti was highly recommended, and although I've enjoyed roti before, nothing has come close to this version. It was incredibly delicious--light, buttery, and perfectly flaky, with delicate layers that practically melted in my mouth. The accompanying dipping sauce complemented it beautifully. I'm a big fan of drunken noodles, but the version served here was truly exceptional--the best I've ever had. The flavors were rich, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. I thought it was too sweet for me and it didn't taste like most Pad Thais I've had or come to expect, but it was still okay. Veggie Rolls - This is pretty much salad/lettuce in a spring roll, and the peanut sauce is what makes it delicious. Not very large or filling, but good if you want some side greens. If you have a peanut allergy, skip these because they're kinda boring without the sauce. Panang Curry with Filet Mignon and added Japanese Pumpkin - This was a good dish! The steak was cooked a little too well for my liking, but it was generous in portion and the sauce was really flavorful. I was glad I added the pumpkin. Filet Mignon Pho - Not my favorite pho ever, but I liked that they offered Thai and Vietnamese options. When I ordered online, I didn't see in the description that it included bean sprouts or basil and that I had to order them for $2 each. I like my pho with every dang thing, so I spent the extra $4. The items did already come with the pho, plus I got an extra bag that I didn't really need to order. The steak was thinly sliced and tender, I just wish there was more of it. Salmon Rolls - These are pretty heavy, the fresh salmon is fried on the outside and rare on the inside. They come with a few dipping sauces, including a spicy mustard that I liked. Thai Tea Caramel Creme - This is honestly the reason I order from here. I am a damn fiend for Thai Tea-flavored desserts, and I crave this one all the time. It has a rich, velvety texture and a strong Thai tea flavor. I have thought of stopping by just to order this, and I probably will. Our orders have always been ready on time, although I can't speak for any dining-in experience, and I think it's a little pricier than other Thai restaurants. The website is just a little wonky... I like that everything is customizable in just about every way, and there are pictures of most items, but the pho order wasn't clear about what it would come with, and some of the upcharges are higher than they should be. However, I will come back for that Thai tea dessert because I've fallen in love.
