This is a small cafe in a strip mall next to Wingstop. It can be a little difficult to find, because the front says "Bobawok" but there's a sign on the door saying Favoritea. Ive been a couple times. The popcorn chicken is really good, and so are the drinks. The mocha coffee I got was great. The spicy cumin beef I tried was just ok, nothing amazing. They messed up my order the first time I came and didn't seem to care too much, I asked for the popcorn chicken meal and they gave me the appetizer. This is a solid choice in the area but wouldn't go too far to try it.

Watermelon tea with rainbow jelly...incredibly refreshing. Not too sweet. Actual watermelon in it. Highly recommend

I really love this place. It's unfortunate it's in such a dead shopping center, but please don't let that deter you from trying this hole in the wall....the place isn't fancy but service is friendly, food delicious with generous portions (my fave hot n' sour soup ever), and great drinks. My favorite has to be the watermelon tea! Incredibly refreshing with real crushed watermelon. I also admire hardworking immigrants pursuing their American dream. It's definitely a family doing everything they can to make it work so when you buy a drink or meal, you know it's going to their children's school, rent...the basics....despite the challenges of language, location, etc, they work together to make the customer's experience a happy one.

Popcorn Chicken

So good will definitely be coming back! One of the best popcorn chickens I've had. Menu has many options too

Boba milk tea.

Don't be fooled by the dying strip mall it's housed in, this hidden gem is worth a visit. It gives divey vibes with dirty floors and clutter all around, but the boba is better than any I've had in Burbank so far and the food was fresh, well prepared, and the staff nice enough. It's totally a mom and pop joint. The staff is eating their dinners at the tables during downtime, but the chef came out to verify my allergies to make sure I could eat everything he was making. Be sure to check the half meal special that you can add a milk, black, or Thai tea and add boba. And speaking of boba. The regular sweet level is a little too much for me, but the taste of the r milk tea was deep and rich. The boba balls were perfect texture and flavor. I wish they had a fresh milk option but was happy to see an oat milk for peeps who want that!

I stumbled upon this cafe in Burbank, CA was because I was starting to support local biz in Upscale LA cities such as this. When I arrived at this Cafe, the front sign posted, 'Soft Opening,' so I suppose they just recently opened for their biz. That and I went with what fellow Yelpers raved about their popular dish, 'Popcorn Chicken,' so I decided to try that dish instead of a drink. Boy, that dish was extremely fulfilling!!!! 'Favoritea,' served a huge portion of their 'Popcorn Chicken,' which were all properly cooked piece by piece. I had already chowed half down by the time I got home. Service was fast and efficient, I received my order within less than 20min of a wait time after placing order. This Cafe was located in a huge plaza, so parking was free and easy. I'll be back again soon next time I'll be in Burbank, CA.

This place used to be a Chinese food to go. It looks like the new owners kept the old set up and just added their own menu technology. The ambience is very out dated and there are boxes under the tables at the front counter. The service is quick and friendly. This is my second time here because I fell in love with the lychee slush with lychee jelly. My daughter got the same but with boba. The drink is pretty large and lasted a long time. There's not a lot of customers but the food looks good.

It's high time I reviewed this place. It is the go-to spot…read morefor a friend of mine and myself, who try come every few months or so. We've been doing that for a few years now, so that should tell you something right there. Our order is fairly consistent: we each start with a mimosa that comes in a highball glass, so one is usually all we need. Next, we share an order of kimchi biscuits (you get two). So delicious! Packed full of kimchi, bacon and cheddar cheese, it's a nice combo of flavors that play well together. The interior is usually soft and warm, with a nice crunchy crust. Top that with a smatter of the cinnamon butter that it comes with...yum! Our choice of entree varies, anything from avocado toast, to their kale and seaweed salad or any of their other selections they have from their brunch/lunch menu. On this outing, my friend and I both opted for the bibimbap. I opted for the pork bulgogi while my friend got the chicken version. It comes with a generous amount of carrots, zucchini, shiitake mushrooms and bean sprouts, and is topped with a runny, sunny side up egg that serves as an excellent sauce when you mix everything together, along with the gochujang sauce. We upgraded and got it with brown rice in the hot stone bowl. Worth it! The regular bibimbap is good, but when you mix in the crunchy crust that comes from the bottom of the stone bowl, you get an additional texture that makes the dish really stand out. The flavors already come together nicely, and the crunchy bits just enhance the experience. For dessert, we like to share the "lemon pie", which is actually a scoop of lemon gelato that comes in a glass that also includes graham crackers, topped with toasted marshmallows. A nice way to end the meal. And the staff! We usually either have Justin or Ann as our server, but everyone there is super friendly and helpful. They are consistently good at checking up on you and making sure you have everything you need. Just another 5 star reason of why we keep coming back!

So happy to find this place. It's a Asian fusion bowl kind…read moreof place. Ingredients are fresh and you can customize your bowl. What's even better is they are allergen conscious place. They have the allergen notations up on their menu board - gluten free/vegan/dairy free. For me who has gluten and dairy allergies/intolerances; I have to constantly manage what I eat. I don't have celiac so for all those my GF BFF's - please let the staff know if you have severe allergies. So from what they advised me, the following protein are gluten free: - chicken satay - steak satay - teriyaki meatball I will double check with the staff next time on the organic tofu - which part in the tofu that is not gluten free. I'd love to try their tofu if it's in fact gluten free. I had their meatball with the tamarind vinaigrette which is so delicious and fresh. I had it with half brown rice and half salad. Their brown rice is not the typical brown rice. It's more like purple-ish brown rice that you'd find in a korean restaurant which is delicious. The 2nd time I was there, they ran out of the meatball so I opted for the chicken satay and tried it with the curry sauce (which they said it's one of their most popular sauces). The curry sauce is not marked as dairy free but I tried it anyway. It's really savory and good and had a bit of kick of spice to it. I can't wait to go back again and hopefully they make more of those meatballs. :)

It was completely unacceptable and ruined our appetite immediately. We showed the bowl to the worker, and she took both bowls back. When we asked for a refund, the cashier said she didn't know how to process refunds and had to call the owner. We were told that the owner reversed the credit card charge and that we would be getting our money back. That was not true. Not only did we not eat the food, but we also never received our refund. Finding hair in food is bad enough, but lying to customers and keeping their money is even worse. This experience showed a lack of cleanliness, professionalism, and honesty. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone.

Here are the details: PARKING This place is in the shopping area near Vons. Easy to park. SEATING inside is a beautiful casual space. It was warm out today, but the air con was pleasant. Unfortunately there is no outdoor seating. SERVICE Everything is made to order. If you think your food is coming slowly, I think there are only a few people in the kitchen, and LOTS of take away call in orders. There is a special space for "pick up" to wait in the back. One server. BUSY. Like: "too busy to chat" busy. Be ready with your order. One server at lunch on virtual roller skates getting through the end of lunch rush well. The menu says "vegetarian bahn mi". My receipt said "vegetarian sandwich". Probably just the missing something like siracha mayo? Idk. I asked if it was vegan, they said "yes", rang it up, handed me a receipt and was gone before I asked more about it. It was DAMN GOOD FOOD Bahn mi VEGAN (?) Tofu delicious and soft Bread crunchy outside soft delicious inside Pickles (kinda soft, not so crunchy) Jalepeno (always vary, but today flavorless, no heat at all) PRICE A little high for bahn mi sando, but worth it to support this restaurant's efforts.
