I haven't been to a Boba Time location in years!!! Back then it was my go-to boba spot as it was the only one around. Since a lot of other boba shops have opened I've ventured off. I had the Jasmine milk tea which was heavily watered down. It was a disappointment. I couldn't taste the Jasmine flavor, but just water topped with ice. I know I haven't been here in years, but I do remember when the milk tea is actually made properly it tastes so good. I also had popcorn chicken in spicy heat level. Staple boba spot in a lot of neighborhoods. We stop by here when we want a sweet boba drink and aren't too sure what we want. Boba time has a big menu and recently they've rolled out a new menu with some specialty coffee drinks like the Dubai and the banana coffee. I tried the banana coffee with boba and it was honestly pretty good, the banana cold foam tasted like a banana milk shake. I would recommend this Boba Time location I have come to many times. The plaza parking is easy (you can usually find a spot right in the front) and the service is friendly/efficient. My favorite items are the Taro smoothie with boba (there is a wide selection of boba to choose from!) and Original Açaí bowl. There are a few tables but I usually prefer taking my order to go. so let's talk about this place. it's located on the streets of downtown burbank where all the foodie spots are at. the sign outside their door catches your attention with their unique drinks with photos on them. (i am a sucker that falls for the pictures) I've visited this place twice and the first time i was greeted by a gentleman who assisted me with my order. he was nice. i got myself their Dubai pistachio frappe. i have to say it was pretty good i do kinda wish they added more pistachio cream around the cup or at least a hint of pistachio as you are taking a sip because it was a lot of chocolate. they also only added the kanafeh on top of the drink with sprinkle bits of pistachios. i do rate it a 7/10. my second time visiting i was interested in trying their banana matcha. i am a huge matcha girly and I've really been into the whole 'banana matcha' trend lately so I was excited to try it. when i walked in i wasn't greeted by anyone. i was standing behind the counter waiting for an employee to come out and help me place my order but they were all just hiding in the back. not one single person wanted to come out from the back and help a customer out. i know they saw me come in cos I saw them as well. eventually, i ended up ordering from the kiosk. once i placed my order, my drink was made pretty quickly. i was soo excited to try the banana matcha and once i took that first sip i was soo disappointed. it had NO taste of banana at all. i asked for 100% sweet (recommended) and it tasted like GRASS. the ONLY thing that made it a "banana matcha" was the banana cold foam on top. that was delicious and tasted like banana. i was so irritated. if you couldn't help assist me with my order the least you can do is make a yummy enjoyable banana matcha drink. When I got there, there was definitely a long line ahead of me. A group of 12 people literally walked in right in front of me. I still only had to wait like 10 minutes to get my drink after ordering, which was impressive, considering how many drinks are in front of me. They definitely have a large menu with a lot of different tea, flavors and combinations you can get for bubble tea. They also have slushies and even popcorn chicken, and some other food items. I've had a lot of classic drinks from here and do appreciate that they have a menu with the sellers or seasonal items that can help you pick if you don't know what you want or want to try something new. There is a couple of tables for indoor seating. The store does get pretty cramped when there is a long line of people. Most people will just stand off to the side and wait for their drink so when it's busy, that is the main reason why it gets pretty cramped. Otherwise, you could wait outside, but there aren't really tables outside so most people tend to take their drinks to go. The service is friendly and kind. At night time on weekends, this location gets busy and sometimes out of the door but during the weekdays/nights, it is chill. I recommend checking out their Top Boba Time Flavors as they are very popular and spot-on with the best ranked flavors. I have tried many flavors but usually opt for the Taro, Mango, Strawberry, Milk Teas, Pistachio, Honeydew Flavors with boba included. The Kale Avocado Smoothie is really good if you want something more health conscious (it doesn't taste like kale, just a really refreshing green colored smoothie). It's Boba Time has a huge variety of items from all kinds of drinks like milk and fruit teas, slushies, and smoothies to acai bowls, macaroons, and popcorn chicken. My usual is the Thai tea here, which they do well here, its not the best thai tea I've ever tried but it does well to satisfy a craving and the boba is nice and chewy. Cute little it's boba time in Burbank. The interior has gotten a lot more aesthetic since I've stepped into one many many years ago. Also the menu has expanded from what I can recall, they have açaí bowls, shaved ice, savory snacks , and just about every boba concoction you can think of. My go to spot near my house. I love the peach lychee fruit tea in an extra large. I get the peach mojito fruit tea which is nice and refreshing during summer time. The place gives me an uncomfortable vibe, everytime I am there it feels like I just want to hurry get my drink and leave as the employees never say "hi"never say "bye" never even say "gee, thanks!" when you leave a tip in the jar, they appear to be very unhappy with their positions. The looks on their faces when one customer walks in after another tells me they don't like to be there. Love this boba chain. Usually quick fresh and delicious. But depends on time of day how busy they will be. Either way the staff usually gets the drinks out fairly quickly. I haven't used online ordering and I don't know how their other toppings are, but the boba here is always soft and sweet. This review is for the female working the register at about 3:55 today, 8/21/25. I came in because I had a pickup order I placed on postmates. When I entered the store, there were two people in line to order drinks ahead of me. After waiting for a little bit, I saw my order ready on a counter behind the register and was looking to see if someone behind the counter would be able to just hand it to me. Register girl noticed me looking around and approached me (visibly annoyed). I asked, very politely, if the line I was standing in was the line for pick up orders as well. She misheard my question and thought I was asking for a cup holder that was right in front of me, got very annoyed that I had the audacity to ask that, and snarkily gave me a cup holder. I repeated my question that she had misheard, and she brought me the two drinks in my order (again, unpleasant and with attitude). She then went back to the register and loudly continued with the customer she was previously helping, and said loudly "SORRY ABOUT THAT" as if to further indicate her annoyance. Register girl, If you can't handle a simple polite question from a customer ("is this the line for pick ups as well"), or a customer looking to see if a worker could hand her a drink ready and waiting on the counter, you are working the wrong job. You have no etiquette, no patience, no kindness, and no social skills. Just because you are tired, having a bad day, etc., doesn't mean you get to ruin someone else's with your lack of kindness. Someone as miserable as this should never have the privilege of interacting with so many people. read more

The employee placed my drink in the small side fridge and never called out my number then went back to making drinks and never turned to acknowledge me. I simply needed to ask her is that number 134. And when she finally acknowledged me I asked and surprise it was my order. There is no air on inside, not sure if that's to discourage people from spending to long in there. There are so many to choose from, but this place is my favorite go to Boba drinks place with yummy snacks (sweet potato fries & tasty popcorn chicken pieces)...My favorite drinks that I like there are the Red Bean Smoothie & Taro Smoothie. I recently noticed they have a refreshing Wintermelon drink & one can always control the sugar level sweetness for any drinks too, which I like, since I don't like drinking anything overly sweet! They make a great Thai Tea & I must say it's the BEST compared to others I've tried. The Galaxy drink is a pretty purpley shade & truly out of this world with its cute mango cutout stars.
