This was a pleasant surprise to see in Burbank :). I love Acai bowls in general and this is one of the better establishments if you want a satisfying acai bowl! Burbank, you are attracting some good vibes. The acai is made well and isn't runny or chunky, it's perfect. The toppings are also fresh and made to order with care-- to which the Staff is friendly, professional, and efficient service. This is a good option for a healthier treat, especially if you are the active/athletic type or if you just love Acai bowls in general. You can sit inside with some small tables with chill bosa nova vibes. Parking is in a pretty good sized lot, should be easy. Overall, I'm pleased to have Acai Republic in town. Service was really great on Saturday at 3pm. The worker was so friendly, informative, and welcoming. I really appreciated when he let me sample the passion fruit cream when I asked if it was tart. Service was friendly. There's two kiosks in front so it's easy to order and worker is there to answer any questions. Plenty of parking outside. Interior is clean and has a few tables and chairs to sit at. I ordered a size medium The Tahiti bowl which I enjoyed. My low rating unfortunately would be due to the coxinha. It looked interesting and I wanted to try something new. I think the one I got was sitting in the heater for too long and was very dry. The exterior potato? wasn't edible The filling was okay but I think too dry as well. One piece was $5 and I could only eat the small amount of filling so that was disappointing . I'd recommend to change out the inventory more frequently or serve freshly made ones. I'm sure they are good when fresh. read more

PSA WARNING TO ALL PREGNANT WOMEN - DO NOT get the açaí bowls as they contain Guarana. Even though the claim is that they have "caffeine free" guarana, it is still not safe nor recommended to have while pregnant or breastfeeding. The Guarana is mixed into the acai mix and there is no option to not have it mixed in. They do not put any warning or notice to customers regarding this. This is a personal disappointment, as a pregnant woman who wanted to enjoy an Acai bowl but now can't (at least not here). Even once I am no longer pregnant and done breastfeeding, I won't be coming here since they don't give you the option to not have the Guarana. Thankfully there's plenty of better places to go! read more

I used to like this place until it became basically impossible to order from them. Their site prevents me from ordering anything. I tried to call and place an order via phone and the only option was to talk with an a.i. agent whose only function was to tell me that it could text me a link to their website, which already wasn't working. So I guess the point of Acai Republic is to just generate an endless loop of going to their website, which doesn't work, and then having an a.i. bot tell you that they can send you a link to their website, which doesn't work. Walked into this cute shop while getting some breakfast from Egg Tuck and was pleasantly surprised by this Delicious açaí energy smoothie!! When you walk in they have a cute lounge area. Easy to order but it is all Touch Screen so you don't really get the customer service vibe until they hand you your drink. They walk your drink out to you with a great smile. Saw that we had a new açaí spot nearby and decided to try it out. This spot recently opened, it is very clean inside and there's plenty of indoor seating. The açaí bowl itself was tasty, we got the São Paulo in a large. The reason why it wasn't 5 stars for me is the price, other nearby spots are slightly cheaper and you have the option of getting any toppings you'd like without an additional charge. I've paid 0.75 cents for almond butter but here it was $1.50. If you wanted more toppings that the 3 the bowl brings you have to pay an additional $1 per topping. If you like your açaí bowl with the toppings the bowl comes with this may be your spot. Unfortunately I can't justify spending $20 on a açaí bowl where I can't add unlimited toppings. I got the real Brazilian bowl and it was very good and I even tried one of their ginger shots and it was the best ginger shot I've had.
