Their avocado toast is bomb, protein shake is BOMB, music selection is good, location is good, seating is good, and customer services was aight, LOL! Maybe it was an off day but I didn't let that stop me from enjoying my lunch (solo lunch) and enjoying the vibes of the customers. Trying to use up some ClassPass points, I decided to order an acai bowl and a matcha from here. They started making it as soon as I stopped by and I decided to sit outside on the gorgeous day while waiting. They were kind enough to bring it out to me letting me know the straw for my drink was in the bag. I actually like to wait for the acai to melt a little bit so I ran some errands and then back home to eat it. The acai was good but I found that the amount of granola wasn't what I had expected. I'm not sure if this is just for CP orders or how they do all orders, but I found the toppings to be sparse. I'll stick with other acai spots. The matcha was overly sweet as well... I let the ice melt into it to dilute the concentrated sweetness while I ran those errands. Overall the location and vibes are cuuuuuute but the food/drink missed the mark for me. read more

Not sure why I have never been here before when I have passed by it so many times, like a thousand times. My guess would be cause I'm not a fan of açaí bowls, not knowing this cafe has more than açaí bowl. They serve sandwiches, salads, smoothies coffee and pastries. While I was in the area today I looked them up on Yelp and saw they have coffee. So I went in. I was immediately greeted and acknowledged by staff. Great customer service. I ordered a cold brew with milk and loved it and a chocolate croissant which was delicious. I really enjoy my time here sitting outside enjoying the beautiful plats all around. I've been a frequent customer here at Acai Jungle and brought many of my friends and family here. What's not to love about Acai?! They are always very friendly when I come and are good with suggestions. It can be busy and it's expected to not find parking right away but not a reason to turn around. Ambiance is cute and I enjoy their seating in the tuck away "Jungle" area near their entrance door. I would rate 5 stars but my opinion has changed because they've let me down with my order of their big sized Acai pint (because I love their Acai so much) ! I ordered it on Uber. But the amount of Acai in their pint was absurd considering the price I paid for it! I think my total came out to a little over $20. I expect the pint to be filled to the top/ the brim like any pint of ice cream would. But it was filled half away. I sure wish I had taken a photo but I was offended. I was really dissatisfied and felt jibbed. I would still come here and do occasionally but after that incident, I've been more open to other acai places. I do wish on their menu they would be flexible about the banana topping having to be in every bowl allowing substitutions if you don't like banana. All the bowls require you to get banana. read more

Do not patronize this cafe if you have food allergies. My mother bought an açaí bowl this afternoon and cautioned the server that she has a peanut allergy and to be sure not to contaminate her bowl. Their reply was "flippant". She was served a bowl with peanut butter (instead of almond butter). I am now sitting in the ER with her. I've been here several times over the last ten years because the açaí base is honestly delicious and not too sweet. The wait time is not too long, and the staff are all very friendly. However, last time my best friend and I sat on the patio, we noticed a strange smell coming from a nearby planter... it turned out to be a dead rat. I have been coming to Acai Jungle Bowl in Burbank for years, and especially frequently lately because I enjoy the coffee, WiFi, atmosphere, and convenience to where I live. I regularly spend money there almost every day, usually between $10-$20 minimum per visit, whether on drinks or breakfast. I have even brought large groups there before, including a birthday gathering with dozens of people, and promoted the place positively on social media. Unfortunately, today I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. There was a long line when I arrived, so instead of standing in the crowded line immediately, I sat down with my laptop intending to wait a few minutes until the line became shorter before placing my order, as I always do. There were also multiple empty tables available at the time. A young staff member approached me in an extremely rude and aggressive manner and told me I needed to order immediately or leave. I calmly explained that I was planning to order shortly and that I simply did not want to stand in the long line at that moment. Rather than speaking professionally or politely, she continued escalating the situation. She told me I had "10 minutes" to order, yet came back only a couple minutes later threatening to call the police if I did not leave immediately. I was shocked and honestly humiliated. I asked to speak to the owner or manager, but she refused to help resolve the situation. What upset me most was not the policy itself, because I understand businesses have rules. It was the unnecessary hostility, lack of professionalism, and the way I was personally singled out and treated despite being a loyal paying customer for years. As someone with an accent, I also left feeling uncomfortable and wondering whether bias played a role in how aggressively I was treated. Some staff members there have always been kind and wonderful, which makes this experience even more disappointing. But after today, unless the owner addresses this situation properly and speaks with the employee involved about customer service and professionalism, I do not feel comfortable returning. I would genuinely prefer to replace this review with a more positive one if this negative experience is acknowledged and somehow fairly compensated, because until today I truly enjoyed supporting this business. This is one of my favorite cafés! I usually get the kale salad without quinoa because I love the dressing! It's home made and healthy! The salad has kale, avocado, Goji, berries, tomatoes, and carrots! The dressing is a vinaigrette, but it has the most perfect flavor, but I'm not sure what it is! I have also ordered their coffee shake which has cashews, cacao, nibs, coffee, and agave. I actually have them replace the agave with dates and add their collagen protein! This also has the most perfect flavor and always satisfies my taste buds! Seems like a hip place for all ages and allows pets on the outdoor patio, but not inside. The acai was very smooth, not frozen at all. I chose the fresh fruit option and was pleasantly surprised at the large amount. All the fruit was indeed fresh, except for the pineapple, which seemed canned because it was overly sweet like sugar syrup was added and the texture was off. Their Nutella topping came in a separate plastic tub, which means you can easily split it between bowls if you want to just want to get one. Chicken Panini was pressed well and the pesto sauce was not overly oily. The cheese was nice and stringy. Love the dressing on the mixed greens salad that was more vinegar than oil in a great way. I was disappointed that their acai bowls came in disposable bowls and used disposable spoons however, despite having reusable plates for their salads and bowls for other items when you order in. Makes sense for eating out, but it seems like they have the infrastructure to serve everything on reusable dishware. read more

When you walk in it's quite lively with the loud music and people talking. I really like how the inside is decorated because all the lights are super cute. One downside is that it is street parking so if you don't know how to parallel park you might have to make a 5 minute walk to get here. The girl that served me was super sweet and patient. She even helped give suggestions on what to get because I was extremely indecisive. I ended up getting an acai bowl and a strawberry matcha. I got the power bowl ($10.75) which comes with granola, banana, and a free topping. I picked fresh fruit as my free topping and opted to add almond butter (+$2.00). The acai base was perfect to me it was super creamy and melted in my mouth. The toppings weren't anything too impressive and I know it says fresh fruit but I actually think the pineapple and mango might have been frozen...? I could just be overthinking it though. The strawberry matcha ($6? I forgot) was okay, if you know your matcha maybe skip this because you might be disappointed. They do use fresh strawberries which is nice but my strawberry bits were sour. read more
