We stop by nearly every weekend when Skai Coffee appears at the Downtown Burbank Cultural Market. They make wonderful coffee and tea beverages in this family-run business. We regularly get the Viet-syle or the Kai when we're up for the caffeine. The matcha and ube lattes are also excellent, but they have lots of things we haven't tried yet, too. It's always fun to visit. We recommend the freshly-made cookies and cakes, which never disappoint. Ube cookies, red velvet cookies, s'mores cookies are all so good. They're soft and a bit luxurious. Nobody else offers creative cookies like this. The cakes are wonderful (lately, the pistachio cakes have been our favorites). They do some great things out of this little coffee stand and they try new things all the time. The family who makes up Skai Coffee is amazing. They're hardworking and very kind. The service is excellent. There's lots of love that goes into what they do. It shows. read more

What can I say about Skai that I haven't said before. This is my favorite coffee spot for a multitude of reasons. Now I just go in and say I want something iced and let the amazing team decide. They have never steered me wrong from the Peanut butter and Jelly Latte to today's Dirty Horchata everything has been amazing!!! If you ever find yourself near DT Burbank Friday, Saturday or Sunday and you LOVE coffee and sweets then find yourself way here. I love supporting small businesses and the owners both provide me with my sweet tooth fix and the sweetest of interactions. Last time I was in Burbank I saw this place and it had a huge line, I didn't have time but made a mental note to come back. I was so happy I was able to try them today! I got the best seller, the Kai. I'm not one for overly sweet drinks and this place gets it. They said they can always adjust to make things sweeter but baseline their drinks aren't too sweet. Apparently they make their own syrups and baked goods too! I got the matcha cheesecake (soooo good) and the raspberry coffee cake. I was fortunate to try their coffee at the Paseo in Pasadena during the Sunday night farmers market. Sadly, they are no longer there because the farmers markets have been discontinued at that location. After my first visit, I made a point of going to that side of Pasadena solely to get coffee from them and then explore the nearby shops.
