I came in as a repeat customer and left wondering why I had kept giving this place my money…read more Mediocre coffee is disappointing enough. Being made to feel invisible while waiting to buy it is what finally lost me as a customer. There were only four or five people in line and two employees working, yet more than five minutes passed without even a basic acknowledgment. There was no greeting, no acknowledgment of the wait, and not so much as a "We'll be right with you." The employees appeared to be taking their time while the people waiting went completely unacknowledged. I don't expect anyone to roll out a red carpet, and I understand that making drinks takes time. But there is a difference between waiting for service and feeling completely ignored. A greeting takes seconds. Basic courtesy should not be the hardest thing to get at a coffee shop. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I had supported this business repeatedly. The coffee was never anything to write home about; the convenient location was what kept bringing me back. After this experience, even that has lost its appeal. I would rather go out of my way than keep spending money somewhere that leaves me feeling this unwelcome. A simple acknowledgment could have changed the entire experience. Instead, they lost a returning customer over the absolute bare minimum. They can keep the mediocre coffee. I'll take my money somewhere that makes an effort to earn it.

I didn't feel rushed to make my decision. I noticed that it seems they have kept a piece of The French Rooster alive by offering a few of the same pastries and I absolutely love it! I can be pretty picky when it comes to coffee so I don't venture out to try new places as often as I'd like because I hate wasting money on burnt coffee. I do miss the days of a $3-$5 latte, but this place is worth the price! The coffee was smooth, flavorful and didn't have that terrible taste that so many syrups leave, plus it had enough caffeine that I didn't get an afternoon headache! I'll definitely be back. Thanks!

We ordered the Strawberry Colada smoothie and the Double Matcha. The double matcha comes with a matcha cream on top and it's decent for what it is. It may not be in the top tier of double matcha drinks like at places such as Stagger or Matsu matcha, but it is good if you're in Burbank. The real winner, though, was the Strawberry Colada smoothie. There is so much flavor with tastes of the strawberry, coconut and pineapple. So flavorful. Just absolutely hits the spot.
