I'm not even sure how I found this place but I'm glad I did. It's a shared space with a pottery studio. Driving by, you wouldn't know this place is here. There is signage on the sidewalk so you know you're at the right spot. It was just one person working but they did a great job at taking orders, making drinks, and keeping the line moving. There was definitely patrons coming in specifically for the drinks and taking it to go. There is a bit of seating available. Because it is a shared space, I think most people were keeping the volume low for anyone working. Not sure if that's the case when it's busier. The menu is all very tempting. We ended with a Cold Brew and a Sun Tropics Matcha. Cold Brew- delicious. It was definitely a favorite of my friend (who can be a bit of cold brew snob). Sun Tropics- omg. amazing. It's a mango, passion fruit matcha. I was worried that it would be too sweet but it was perfectly balanced. SO refreshing. And the flavors really came through without one overpowering the other. With summer and warmer days coming, this is easily going to be my new go-to. Our drinks were really great, it makes me excited to try the rest of the menu. I was in the area and found Zomu Coffee online while looking for cafés nearby. Zomu is non-descript from the outside (as it's connected to a ceramics studio), but it offers a good amount of seating inside, as well as lots of drink options. The barista was nice and helpful in giving me reccomendations of what to choose. I opted for a matcha latte with a pandan cream top: not too expensive at $6.50 (not including tip), which I appreciated given that cafés elsewhere charge an upwards of $8+. The drink was beautifully-presented, a green-on-green experience. Taste-wise, I mostly got pandan flavor, which isn't bad, but it definitely overpowered the matcha; I would've loved for the matcha to have shone a bit more. All the same, Zomu Coffee is a solid establishment to try out while in the neighborhood! read more

Heads up, get their Pan-Dance With Somebody or you'll regret it! It felt like it was summer for a second after one sip. It is so refreshing even on a colder day. The Pan-Dance has a mango base with a pandan cream top. The layers separate are tasty; mixed, even better! It is creamy and not too sweet. I chugged it down! I also ordered a regular iced latte with oat milk, topped with their Ube Spice cream top. Delicious! Again, not too sweet, and it reminded me of a creamy chai latte. Their vanilla latte is also solid! They know their coffee and flavors over here! The cafe is spacious, perfect for studying and/or remote work! There is Wifi and free parking! I took my drinks to go during this visit, but I plan to come back and bring my husband! Nicole and Phil are awesome and so hospitable! Since my drinks were securely packed, they made it through the drive from Burbank to Silver Lake. I highly recommend and support local business! read more

omg where was this place when i was working across the street a year ago? i would be here all the time, ahaha! Zomu coffee is truly a hidden gem that recently opened in the city of burbank. i was lucky to discovered zomu on Yelp & their matchas really peaked my interests. i stopped by this morning & when walking in i immediately loved the vibe. i like how spacious this place is. multiple seating options, a nice place to study and chit chat with your friends. their big couch is comfortable. the music they had playing was a vibe. i was greeted by a lovely gentleman named Philip who was soo nice & allowed me to ask him any questions that i had. i appreciated that so much! i really had to try their ' pan dance with somebody matcha.' i can see why this drink has so many positive reviews. it's different & unique. the name itself is different & catches your attention. i have never been to a coffee shop that makes their matcha this way. the mango base with pandan cream top was absolutely delicious. the mango base itself was insanely good and a taste my palette has never had before. i loved it. the drink itself is so visually pleasing. perfect layers i must say. what a lovely pleasant first time experience & want to say thank you to Philip for being such a kind person! i will most definitely come back & try their Lolita's matcha!! read more

I am so glad I found this spot! They have amazing curated drinks inspired by Filipino flavors so I had to try it. I got a Lolita's Matcha which is a turon (fried sweet plantain) flavored matcha. It was so good and had a flavor unlike any other matcha I've had. I've also had some of their other drinks like the Sun Tropics, Pan-Dance With Somebody and Vacation Eyes. All great drinks. Service is always top tier. Phil is always so welcoming and very knowledgeable about the menu. He recommends drinks based off what you like which I love. The ambiance is amazing. They are a pop-up shop but the fact it is inside of a pottery studio adds so much of a chill vibe. Not a whole lot of seating inside so make sure to come early to catch a seat! My wife brought me here saying that the drinks were amazing, and they are. I ordered an iced latte with an add shot, and their pandan cream top. The drink was perfect and not too sweet. Service was great. Shoutout to the owner Phil who made the drinks and was super friendly. I'm so glad I found this place! I'm extremely picky and specific about my matcha. The pandan matcha was SO amazing and only $6.50. 10000/10. Most other places would have charged upwards of $8 and I'll happy to pay more to support a small business. The vibes inside are great and the owner is very sweet. Usually caffeine gives me anxiety but I felt great after my drink because it was made with love. I'm so excited to come back and try everything else on the menu. I tried the Geisha pour-over (2nd time -- what i originally came back for), the Blushing Aje Latte (cherry + vanilla latte), and the Pan Dance With Somebody (mango matcha with pandan cream top), and every single one was incredible. Zomu is located inside of Claytivity. There are plenty of seats and music playing. Not sure about outlets but I did see some people working from there. Parking is hit or miss. A lot of the spaces on the street that it's on are red so you may have to park a little further down and walk. It's not terrible. There is a huge parking lot right next to it, but it says it's for a restaurant and that they'll tow so I didn't risk it. I've been meaning to check this place out since they were at the dance studio but never made it. Now that they moved closer to where I live, I was finally able to try it and I'm so glad I did. I got the Candy Rain (a sort of coffee cola) and their Good Luck Charm (Espresso, Plum, Calamansi, sparkling water) and both were pretty good, but I really enjoyed the Good Luck Charm and will be getting that again. We also tried their Vacation Eyes (Matcha, Lychee, Passion Fruit, Calamansi, sparkling water) drink and it was the perfect matcha drink on a hot day. I love it when coffee shops experiment with flavors and all their seasonal stuff always sounds so good. There are also a lot of options that aren't centered around milk, which I always welcome. I can't wait to try more of their drinks because so far the drinks I've had are 10/10. Overall, happy to have a new coffee shop near me that I'm actually excited about. found this place while browsing through google and yelp to buy some coffees for the office. i'm so glad that i did! they have delicious coffees and teas with unique flavors that you won't find at other shops in the area. i got the iced unsweetened hojicha latte with koatji milk. got it the first time and had to get it again. if you don't like the earthiness of matcha or you're looking for something different, i'd highly recommend this. it has a lovely nutty flavor that pairs well with the milk. the owners are so sweet. the ambiance is relaxing. i will be back and i promise to try something else the next time i'm there! cheers! read more

The shop is located in a pottery studio, and as you walk in, the ordering window is on your left. There are chill vibes, RnB background music, and plenty of street parking and seating. The staff members were friendly, provided great recommendations, and offered to package my drinks for takeaway. I ordered two drinks to share with family, including the Pan-Dance With Somebody ($7.50) and Short N' Sweet with Ube Cream Top ($5.50). These drinks were very different from each other, yet so tasty and aesthetically-pleasing. The Pan-Dance With Somebody was sweet, tart, and refreshing; the matcha and pandan paired well, and the mango brought the zing. Best matcha in Burbank Nicole and Phil are the sweetest and the drinks are inspired by filipino and korean flavors. They never skimp on the matcha and they've honestly ruined every other cafe for me. They have a new location inside of a pottery studio, and there's plenty of space to get some work done or read a book. Parking along the street is super easy and it's conveniently right by Costco. I tried the Slow Motion for the first time. Warm Hojicha with chocolate and marshmallow, half sweet and oat milk. The chocolate didn't overpower the Hojicha but deepened the flavor. It was a very well executed Hojicha drink! I've also had the Lolitas Matcha warm and it was delightful. They use high quality matcha, and there was a nice non-artificial banana flavoring to it. My absolute favorite is their Pan-Dance with Somebody. The base is mango nectar with matcha poured on top, and a pandan cream top. Definitely best pandan cream top I've ever had, and the flavor blend is to die for. I met this married couple and their amazing coffee stand at a hardcore show and i've been hooked ever since! Nicole and Phil are the coolest people and offer such great service that it always makes me feel warm inside.
