While going down Empire Street to the shopping center, I saw a Lowes, and thought I needed to pick up some things I needed. While walking towards those from the parking lot, I saw a sign that said $10 for two hot dogs fries and a Coke I think it was. You're quite a number of choices and I decided to get a pastrami sandwich. It was fantastic. He had told me that they make the bread themselves and it was all amazing! I asked the owner his name and he said it was Ray, I think. I feel pretty dumb cuz I asked him twice. He was interesting to talk to and was a very nice man. I'm sad I don't come down here that often anymore unless I'm going to USC hospital but you can bet I'll be stopping at "Da Fire Pit". I thought the hot dog offerings looked very good The fries he made me were excellent as was the Pastrami sandwich. A few other guys were sitting at the picnic benchs and said that they had been there recently since they're from the area and said that they loved stopping there for lunch. Two of the people told me to try the chicken sandwich next time. I'm going to find reasons to come back soon. The prices are good too. This is one of those unexpected places we Yelpers find and are excited to try again. It is between the store entrance and exit Highly recommend.

This little hot dog stand that offers so much more than hot dogs recently changed ownership. I had…read morethe World Famous Burbank Dog, which is what always I get. While it has changed a bit, it's still delicious. The stand is located between the Lowe's entrance and the Lowe's exit making it a perfect place to stop for a quick lunch or snack before or after you shop. Ambience wise, it's not much, but what can you really expect out of a hot dog stand located in front of a Lowe's? Regardless, the food is yummy and the service is good. Next time you shop at Lowe's, come with an appetite.

I stopped by Toasty Burrito Project early in the morning, hoping for a solid start to the day, but…read morethe food ended up being pretty underwhelming. I am so hoping to like this place. Beef and Poteo Empanada - 3/5. Their empanadas were freshly made. The crust was actually the highlight - crisp, nicely textured, and clearly well-prepared. Unfortunately, the filling didn't live up to it. The beef and potatoes tasted flat and overly salty, lacking the rich, savory depth you'd expect. It was also surprisingly dry, lacking any juiciness or fat to bring it together. Overall, it was just okay- nothing I'd go out of my way for. Argentino Breakfast Burrito - 2/5. The breakfast burrito was even more disappointing. Everything about it leaned dry - the tortilla itself seemed dry on its own, not just from toasting, and the fillings didn't help. The eggs, potatoes, cheese, and meat didn't come together cohesively. It felt like each component was just there rather than working as a whole. The salsa was decent, but not enough to rescue the burrito. I ended up not finishing it. All in all, a place with some potential - especially based on that empanada crust - but the fillings and overall execution really need improvement.
