Best breakfast burrito I've had in a long time! Good ratios of ingredients and they use hash browns so you aren't getting a BB filled with chunks of potato that take the place of the meat like most places (Yeah YOU Corner Cottage) and the sausage is patty style so again you are getting a lot of everything that costs money not a load of potatoes! The hash browns tasted exactly like the frozen patties you buy in a bag at the grocery store, and the entire burrito was dripping with grease. The only decent part of the meal was the egg, which unfortunately was the only component that tasted somewhat fresh. For nearly $20, I expected a properly prepared breakfast burrito with fresh ingredients, not something that felt thrown together with low-quality frozen items. I stopped in early one morning to get a Breakfast Burrito (Eggs, Cheese, Hashbrowns, Bacon, and Pico de Gallo) after a couple of my friends asked if i ever had one from this place. I usually go to another place a couple blocks away that is very well known for there Breakfast Burritos but I felt adventurous and gave it a try. I was not disappointed! The Burrito was definitely "different" than what I am used to... same basic ingredients... just different. It was loaded with Crispy Bacon that sung to me every bite I took. It was like a Bacon Orchestra. Crunch, Crunch, Mmmm! You order through a little window, they call you when it is ready, and they do have a couple of tables in front of the restaurant on the sidewalk. With that being said, the Service was outstanding! Now.. there isn't much to the service, but the lady that took my order was awesome. She was so sweet and had a smile the whole time. She made sure I got my hot sauces (one red and one green sauce), extra napkins, and a straw for my Orange Juice.. ohhh yeah, I got a small OJ, and it is delicious! I wish I had gotten a large! Went there twice a few months apart and ordered the American breakfast burrito both times. While serviceable, the burritos were nothing special. The size of the burritos was good, but they have lots of fried, crunchy potato sticks in it that made it feel like I was chewing on a haystack. The overall flavor was a bit on the bland side so I was hoping their salsas would fill the gap. I like to order my breakfast burritos with any salsa on the side so I can control the taste and spiciness. Unfortunately, the salsas I was given (red and green) were underwhelming. However, the pico de gallo they serve was pleasantly tastier than either salsa. As for drinks, their cafe de olla (CDO) was a pleasant surprise. It compares favorably to other CDO's from other nearby restaurants. At other places, I usually have to ask for lots of creamer to offset the strong taste of the drink. The Antojito's CDO was tasty and mild enough that creamer wasn't needed. So, overall, the breakfast burrito was meh. The CDO was good. Balancing these out, I give it 3 stars. read more

Also close to Burbank Equestrian Center, and LA Kings Ice at Pickwick. It was pretty loud today with cruising motorcycles passing by, but only temporarily. SERVICE Really friendly. Peek through the window for order and pick up. FOOD The food was ok. There are quite a few vegetarian options on the menu. The chile relleno burrito is good. There is plenty of cheese, the chile is cooked well, but I'll try something different on the next visit. My son got the carne and camarones mojado. He LOVED it. I remarked how big it was. He said he'd eat it all no problem, but he couldn't finish it because it was so much food. This was massive. Tacos were really good according to my wife, the side salad and beans weren't really necessary. Get tacos not the plate. Jamaica is made fresh. Not powdery. I love how they do the egg as a thin layer under the tortilla, too many breakfast burritos are just thick scrambled egg with a small amount of potatoes and protein and the balance is off. I rarely leave reviews but today's experience was incredibly frustrating. We waited nearly 2 hours for 2 burritos. Some context, we tried this place earlier this year and ordered in person that day. We ended up waiting an hour that time. The food was alright so today we decided to give it another try, chalking up the wait to a one time thing since we ordered there. To try to avoid a wait this time, we ordered through DoorDash at 11:06 am and scheduled it to be ready between 11:40-12. First issue, they confirmed our order nearly 30-40 minutes after we placed the order. That already gave us the impression this would be another long wait. Then we arrived there right at 12pm and were told it would be ready in 15-20. We waited and waited and the order wasn't ready till 12:54. We wanted to cancel but since we paid on DoorDash, we wouldn't get a refund at the point. So we were forced to wait. There were many people waiting at the time, all seemingly waiting for a while having to check in multiple times on their order. We understand running a bit behind, but this wasn't the first time and the length of the wait was just ridiculous. Hope they improve this, not sure if we'll be back again which sucks because we enjoy their breakfast burritos. read more

REVIEWS AND PHOTOS ARE A LIE! I looked online saw the reviews, and the photos and thought I was in for a treat to get a California burrito from here. Online the burrito looks big and layered with fresh French fries, cheese, sour cream and meat. What I got was OLD OVER COOKED FRENCH FRIES! barely any meat, you know the food is OLD and SITTING there when the cheese isn't melted!!! I'm seriously disgusted by how this food was and especially for the price I paid. It angers me that you advertise photos of your food and think it's okay to serve the garbage you did to your customers. You know what you're serving and seriously disgusted thinking you think it's was even edible. I hope the owner reached out honestly. I get you close at 2pm but I was there before 1:30 and still got some garbage fries and bad quality food. This has been my fav place to order breakfast from for a while now so I'm really hoping the owner/management reads reviews here. Today I ordered a plate that had plantains and I added 2 over easy eggs. I'm focusing on those two things because they were'nt cooked at all the way I've come to expect from this restaurant. The eggs were very round like they were cooked in a container and so rubbery I couldn't eat them. To me the texture seemed like a microwaved egg. The plantains were so dry and hard. Usually the plantains are perfectly crisp on the outside and still retaining moisture inside. Again I couldn't eat them. I'd love to be able to change this from 3 to 5 stars but something has changed just in the last 2 weeks. read more

Recently discovered this joint while driving back home from a Griffith Park run, and, oh Mylanta, it's so delicious. On two different occasions, we got the veggie breakfast burrito, the breakfast quesadilla, chilaquiles, and the Antojito breakfast burrito with sausage. I must say that the burritos here are solid -- truly, chef's kiss. They're packed and not soggy or deflated, like a lot of other places. And for me, that's how I measure a good burrito: it's firmness, thickness, and whether or not the place is generous with their ingredients. Antojito's hits all of these measurements. The hashbrowns in the breakfast burrito were so crisp, even when we ate it at home. The textures were all there. The unexpected surprise was the breakfast quesadilla. (I typically don't order quesadillas cause I've been disappointed by other places.) It was full (like girl, THICC) of cheese, eggs, salsa, and onions. It really felt like a whole damn meal. It was so deliciously filling. The only downside, for me, was the chilaquiles. Ordered them after our run, but had to hit up the grocery store before we got home. When we opened the box, everything was super soggy. But, I will admit that this criticism is on me and NOT the restaurant. The flavors are there, and it's a filling dish. Check these folks out! They're renovating their inside seating but have two tables outside. If the weather's cooperative, I would suggest eating outside. Next time, I'm gonna try the tres leches pancakes. We've all been there...you're getting your tire repaired and suddenly you want a taco, but there's only body shops and sewing machine repair places around. Like a mirage in a desert, there's a non-descript building next to said tire place that serves amazing Mexican food. Why are all the best places in LA not where you'd expect them to be? Located next to a Western Tire Shop is Antojitos...maybe one of the ultimate blink and you'll miss it spots. It looks nothing like a restaurant until you drive slowly enough by and see a walk up order counter/window...or you're there waiting for your tire to get patched up. The place could literally be anything else, but thankfully they serve one of the best breakfast burritos in town. Full disclosure, when I finally tried Antojitos, I got it delivered via Grubhub because every time I've been getting a tire fixed at Western Tire, they were closed. They're closed on Tuesdays and are only open from 8am to 2pm...which is unfortunate cause this would be a pretty awesome place to get dinner from, but this is going to be a go to breakfast/lunch spot. They have two types of breakfast burritos on the menu, an American style breakfast burrito and the Antojito's burrito. It's got everything you'd expect from a breakfast burrito...your choice of ham/bacon/sausage, hash browns, cheese, pico de gallo, and fluffy scrambled eggs. Their namesake comes with sour cream and black beans inside and the outside has melted cheese and avocado slices on top for only 2 dollars more. I'm not the biggest fan of beans in a burrito, but I tried it anyway. By the time the burrito was cooked and delivered to me, maybe 25 minutes had passed? On first bite, I was amazed at how crispy the hash browns still were. The egg was fluffy, more like they made an omelet and put it in the tortilla. The black beans, sour cream, and pico de gallo had melted into some kind of weird paste which actually made the burrito creamier than it's other Burbank counterparts. The melted cheese and avocado on top added another layer of creamy goodness to everything. The kicker was the red and green salsas that came with the burrito. The red was smoky with a bit of heat. The green was smooth and mellow with a hint of freshness that enhanced the savoriness of the burrito. The burrito was hefty for its size, you definitely get your money's worth. Crazy to think that for a couple extra bucks, you could get a wet breakfast burrito...but that's another kind of heartburn for another morning. Upon finishing all of it, this burrito immediately launched itself into the pantheon of all time great breakfast burritos in Burbank. Since it was a little too early to get tacos, the breakfast was rounded out with something that screamed get us for breakfast from the menu: the tres leches pancakes. Getting pancakes delivered is always a crap shoot, but this was marvelous. Fluffy buttermilk pancakes served with a side of tres leches sauce. When you order this you should probably drown the pancakes in the sauce ahead of time and let it soak in. The combo is amazing and milky. Pancakes delivered kind of have this gluey, stale feel to them sometimes...these pancakes didn't really have that problem to begin with, but even if they did, that would be alleviated by the tres leches sauce. There's so much more to their menu that I need to try and I will definitely be going back for seconds and thirds and fourths. Antojitos might translate to little cravings, but you'll end up wanting a lot more. read more

Is it better than Taco Bell? Absolutely. The quality of the food here surpasses that of Taco Bell's, no question about it. However, if I'm being honest, it falls into the category of a simple, somewhat flavorless hole-in-the-wall Mexican joint. That being said, there are plenty of other hole-in-the-wall Mexican joints in the area that offer a much more satisfying and delicious experience. For a step up, I'd recommend checking out El Sauz in Glendale (on San Fernando Rd), Victoria's Tacos & Grill (also on San Fernando Rd), or Taco Azteca (Original) on Verdugo by Glendale High. So, while this place might be a step up from Taco Bell, if you're willing to venture a few miles down the road, you'll find yourself a lot happier. read more
