Finally hit up this spot today! I was hoping to try their iced cafe de olla, but they only have half and half as a creamer option and I can't have dairy. My boyfriend and I came here and ordered at the counter, which is cash only. They do have an iPad to place a "mobile" order in store if needed, but they take online orders. The place was busy. But we found parking and seating easy. Our wait to order was not long at all. What did take long was getting our food. The kitchen was SO active whipping out orders, but they have a HUGE take-out and DoorDash business, and it seems those orders are prioritized. It took us 40+ minutes to get our breakfast burrito and two hashbrowns. Now, we don't always mind a wait, but it didn't feel like this food was worth that kind of wait. Listen, it IS good. But not 40 minute wait good. What makes this place different from other local spots is their salsa- it's spicy and more like a salsa relish. Very fresh flavor! I also like their beverage options, from energy drinks to Gatorade to cafe de olla! This is a hard working spot that whips out some good food, we just will likely keep going to other spots that are closer with a little quicker service in the future. Got food here on a recommendation of some coworker who raced about the breakfast burritos here. I was excited to see what all the talk was about with this burrito. I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito. Seemed like a middle of the road enteee. It was tasty and filling but and a big but it was like 90% potatoes. I was to consist of eggs, cheese, bacon and potatoes but honestly the ratio was fully potato heavy. I would have like this much more if there were eggs and cheese. The fellas at work mentioned after that I should have ordered it with light potato's and extra cheese and extra bacon. Well seems to me the regularly made menu item could be made a bit more evenly. The wait will make or break you. Today I waited 28 mins for a bacon breakfast burrito...... with 70 other people, lol. This breakfast burrito belongs on the top 10 list of California Breakfast Burrito's (Larry's down the street is another), but it could be "the best breakfast burrito in Burbank." The thing that makes them unique is the undercooked potatoes with their unique cheese. This, cut with the acidity of the spicy salsa works incredibly well." Drove by here a couple times and noticed quite a flock of people hanging around on Saturday mornings. After our run at Griffith Park we came here to join the breakfast crowd. They have self service kiosks, one is outside and one is inside. They do cash only at the counter register. Drinks like coffee are served up quick. But you'll expect to wait at least 15-20 minutes for your breakfast burritos. There are a lot of delivery drivers here picking up orders, so the place is probably 2 or 3 times busier than it might look. The burrito is a nice soft golden color, among the most beautiful burritos I've seen. We ordered extra crispy potatoes but the didn't seem any crispier that ordinary ones. Didn't get that satisfying double fried potato crunch. Their salsa is award winning although it's not clear what the award was. They let you know up front that it's spicy. And it truly is! I don't think they have a mild version. Might want to get a cold drink to wash down the heat. One burrito was enough for two people trying to manage the size of their waistlines. (CASH ONLY - at least when you order at the counter) Besides the apt naming, this place is a no frills spot that primarily serves takeout breakfast burritos during breakfast hours and for lunch, there's a menu of burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches. I came here for a breakfast burrito. You can choose to have your salsa mixed into your burrito or have a cup or two on the side. And although there is some seating - counters, a few tables inside, and some tables outside in the back - it seams a lot of their business is takeout, especially when it's really busy. I ordered the breakfast burrito with ham. Like I mentioned, this place is no frills so I had an idea what to expect and they delivered. The flavors are more old school and that lots of the filling are cooked on a griddle with their potatoes a little lower on the crisp scale. It's a good size breakfast burrito and you definitely aren't hungry after finishing one. The salsa has a good kick without being too spicy. What truly amazing is the price. Of the many breakfast burrito offerings across the city, this feels like one of the better values. Also, know that this place can get really busy so wait times will be adjusted accordingly. It took about 25 mins for my burrito. I think there's a way to order on some app or online because it seemed like other people were picking up while I was sitting there waiting for my order. As a Hispanic guy who's had plenty of great burritos, I was honestly disappointed. I ordered the sausage, egg, potato, and cheese burrito with their famous hot sauce. The sauce was spicy, sure--but the burrito itself? Pretty average. Not bad, just not worth the long 20-30 minute wait. The staff was friendly and hardworking, and there's a good amount of parking, which is a plus. But if you're coming here because of social media, manage your expectations. To be frank, I feel like the burrito maybe had 1 or 2 sausages total that were cut up and distributed. I understand that they're affordable and you can pay more for an all meat burrito ($16 though which is a pretty penny!) 3. This use to be the place to go, and to me, it still is. They are known for making a great burrito. They make the "working man" breakfast burritos. filled with potatoes which keep you filled and supplied with carbs to begin your wonderful day. The salsa is pretty spicy, to wake you up and let you know that you are still alive. If you want a better ratio, order it double meat. If you want to be filled, order two regular burritos. However you want it, order it that way, that way you get what you want. The quality is always there, made properly, and delicious. Definitely give it a try, but make sure you get what you want, order it right, don't be like some of these other people who want a heavy big burrito for cheap, that's not today's world. read more

Parking is available in a lot right by the corner shop though since seating is incredibly limited inside, parking tends to stay full as many eat in their car. This place is cash only so please be advised. I would say this place is known for cheap(er) breakfast burritos but I would not call them the best. Egg/Potato breakfast burrito 3/5, this was just okay. We weren't in the mood for meat and opted for this and it was bland. The burrito does come with a side of salsa but the side is so incredibly teeny tiny it's laughable. We ended up taking this home and using spices from there to boost this up. read more

The wait for our food took a while but the place was packed with people and busy so since it was our first time here, we stuck it out to see how good this place really was. We waited about 25 minutes after walking in and everyone was friendly. I have to say these should be called just a potato & egg burrito with tiny bits of meat. Last time I came by, they were closed for some event so when I knew I'd be in the area again, I had to finally give it a try. I ordered a steak breakfast burrito through their website. Thankfully, because when I got there, the register said cash only (not sure how true that is, but better safe than sorry!). Now, let's talk about this burrito... hands down one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. The steak was juicy and flavorful, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and everything was wrapped up so neatly that every bite had the perfect mix of everything. I usually never order steak, but I'm so glad I did this tim...it totally hit the spot. And that salsa? Wow. Nice and spicy with the perfect kick was super fresh and full of flavor. It honestly ties the whole thing together. Everyone who works there was so nice and friendly, even with how busy it was. I've been a Corner Cottage customer for years, so like a lot of people I was skeptical when the ownership changed. Taking over a near-iconic breakfast burrito spot in Burbank is no easy task. My first visit after the transition was... good, but a notch below the old days. The biggest surprise? No legendary line. Still, the new owners and staff clearly cared, so I figured I'd give them time to find their groove. Fast forward a few months. I'm on Uber Eats looking for a breakfast burrito and there it is -- Corner Cottage is online now. Website, digital ordering, lots of customization options. Nice upgrade. Inside, the heart of Corner Cottage is still there: the menu, the griddle, and the hardworking crew. The burritos are solid and getting closer to their former glory. I ordered mine with extra cheese and an extra tortilla. Unexpected highlight: they now serve café de olla, which was fantastic. It was a Sunday (also new -- they used to be closed Sundays) and the place was busy with a healthy line again. One small ding: the burrito could've used more sausage and a little more seasoning -- the potatoes were a bit bland. But overall, still a very solid breakfast burrito. If they keep dialing in the flavor and meat portions, Corner Cottage could easily climb back to being one of the best breakfast burrito spots in the LA area. read more

The was no line... good and bad thing I guess. The burrito off the start was noticeably smaller and lighter in weight. I ordered a sausage burrito and I barely noticed any sausage.
