So I wasn't going to write a review even after I ordered an Americano and the lid came off and burned my hand pretty bad, but I also ordered two cake pops and they were so bad that I said fine I'm gonna write it. You need to put frosting in the cake pop, it's not just dry dry cake with one thin layer of icing around it. The other pastries here looked pretty they probably taste better but this was just my experience. Also I came in no one greeted me then I waited to be helped and two more people walked in after me and everyone was helped before me which was a bit rude. read more

Located in the same strip mall as El Pollo Loco and Rio Cleaners, this large bakery offers plenty of parking and an impressive selection of gorgeous cakes and pastries. The sun faded exterior sign makes it easy to miss and drive passed it; therefore, look for the strip mall with El Pollo Loco in it. Clearly a neighborhood favorite: during my visit several customers came in to pick up cakes, tarts, and other sweets. Inside, you will find a vast selection of pastries, cookies, specialty candies and elegant desserts. The cakes and pasties are both delcious and beautifuly decorated, with popular favorites like tiramisu, carrot cake, and red velvet, as well as unique offerings I hadn't tried before, such as the Russian and Mikalov rollets; both of which were delightful. They also offer both whipped cream and custard filled cream puffs and I tried one of each; both were fresh and light. Its worth noting that this is more of a bakery than a cafe. Despite its name, it's not a sit down coffee and pastry shop, but rather a place to pick up your treats and go. read more

If you have a sweet tooth then this place is for you. Has a parking lot which it shares with other stores. Wide range of selection of bakery goods. Cakes are expensive but so worth it as they not only look gorgeous but taste just as amazing. The sweetness is right in the middle so perfect. Different slices of different flavors of goods so plenty options. Staff is just doing their job so even if they dont smile or mean business dont look too much into it. The bakery items are what matter and they are delicious read more

My first time at the bakery but I had their pastries many times before. My niece always brings us cookies and tarts from Teapot and I always liked the taste and the freshness of them. Today while in the area I decided to buy a tart so I stopped by yo check it out. The store smelled heavenly and I couldn't decide what to buy. So I ended up getting a blueberry tart which was delicious. My family enjoyed it with their afternoon tea on this beautiful summer day. The variety here is big , cookies, pies, tarts, baklavas, cakes and more. They also sell ice cream, packaged imported cookies and more. Customer service was ok, not the friendliest but not bad either. Overall a good place to buy pastries. I almost never buy from bakeries cause I myself am a baker, so this place didn't disappoint. If you need something in a hurry this is the place to go. read more

Moldy pastries, " Its not possible" I wasn't going to write a review out of curtsey, I gave the benefit of the doubt and called to give them feedback on their moldy pastry. However I was hit with "exceptional " customer service which accused me for their pastry's mold. I bought the pastry around closing time and when came home and opened it up some had mold on it. I called right away and left them a massage. No one called back. So I called the next day to let them know to check the product before selling it in the nicest way, but was told not possible and I kept the product for so long that it got mold. In return I'm posting this with time stamped pics for costumers and all to see. FYI I never wanted money back I was just letting them know the issue. This could have been avoided with some minimal level of customer service which they don't have. read more

My first week in my new home and a mid-week birthday was made joyous and sweet by the surprise delivery of a delicious birthday cake (strawberry shortcake) from TeaPot Bakery and Cafe. How the delivery driver managed to place the cake on my front porch without my even hearing him or making my dogs bark was a feat in itself. The cake was Heavenly! This establishment is RACIST!! The cashier named Lilia or Lilian has been rude and racist in several occasions. I don't even know if she gave me a fake name when I asked for it since my receipt says Diana. When I have walked inside in past occasions, she has ignored me completely and will smile and greet other Armenian customers. I have been to the teapot for a few years now and I have noticed that this particular cashier is rude. Today was my limit. She was staring at my 2 year old niece because she was touching some of the candy and then asked if I was going to pay for what she had in her hand (which my brother purchased right away for her). I purchased several things today and have been a loyal customer for years but not anymore. Every one should check out Altadena bakery instead. You'll receive great customer service there. read more

My daughter brought home some pastries from this bakery. This European-style bakery offers a variety of desserts, pastries, cookies, traditional breads, and you can order custom cakes for all occasions. These confectioneries are created so artistically that you really don't feel like gobbling them without admiring them first. That's what I did. I didn't want to even cut them into halves so I can share them cause I just wanted to taste all of them. Among the ones she got were: Honey cake - a thin 6 layers of spongy cake with cream Dulce de Leche Meringue- the cookie doesn't crumble with every bite Dulce de Leche fruit cake - cookie is shaped like a peach on top and bottom is crunchy like a pan dulce. Bonbons- mango, caramel, strawberry, and passion fruit flavors . They were not too sweet but still flavorful. Caramel mini Eclairs - the bite size pastry is also not too sweet that probably I can eat a dozen of them. Colorful macarons as well were added to the box. read more

I purchased a couple of trays of pastry from here and asked if those can be put in a box for a gift, the employee there asked if that be be done but owner or manager refused even though I offered to pay for the box. I should've just left without spending a dime in that place but I needed it. Never ever will I walk into that bakery ever again, my first and last time. Bad experience to say the least. Employees are fine it's the manager or whoever was there needs to learn about customer service. We have hundreds of bakeries around, give the good service to bring back customers. read more

Everything I ordered minus the Bavarian cake was delicious!!! The tiramisu was so creamy I wish I had bought an entire cake. The Pistachio Bonbon was so delicate and creamy as well- I was surprised it actually tasted like pistachios. Bite sized happiness. My favorite was the honey cake. I can't even explain how fluffy and perfectly sweet this cake was- I'm salivating. My least favorite was the Bavarian slice. It was so bland including the icing and the cake was so dense and almost hard I couldn't finish it. Definitely never ordering this again. I definitely DO NOT recommend this place at all. It's sad to know that even in 2025, episodes of RACISM AND XENOPHIBITION are still happening. After reading several reviews, I realized I wasn't the only one. I went to ask about a birthday cake for my mom, who wanted something simple and not too elaborate for a few people. There was one on the counter that looked very similar, but I wanted to ask about a custom cake, just in case. The Armenian woman who helped me ignored me as soon as she saw I didn't speak her language and decided to attend to other people ahead of me, but I let it go. When she finally decided to help me, I asked about the cake, and she told me it cost $180 and that they could only make cakes for 20 people or more. When I said I was looking for something smaller, she said they didn't do that. She didn't give me any options or anything; it was clear she didn't want to help me. When I pointed to the one on the counter, she replied curtly, "It's $40," and left me talking to myself. I definitely do not recommend this place at all. read more

I got a birthday cake from this bakery, and it absolutely ruined my day. As soon as I ate it, I could taste something off like too much baking soda or some weird ingredient that burned my stomach. It wasn't just me; even my dad (who eats EVERYTHING) got sick from it. This isn't the first time either I had this cake at a friend's birthday before and felt sick back then too, but I wasn't sure it was the cake. Now I know it was. Came here for the souffle pancakes and they didn't disappoint!…read more My party of 3 stopped by Saturday afternoon 2:30 pm and it wasn't crowded. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose outdoor since it was such a nice day out. They have all of their desserts on display in the case, so you can peruse the options and see what looks good. So many of the desserts looked good, like the matcha yuzu chiffon crepe cake or the rose and lychee crepe cake. We ordered via the kiosk and got the mango sunshine souffle pancake ($16.50) and well as a couple drinks. My drink was the white peach lemon jasmine bliss ($6.25), with 50% sweetness and less ice. Even though there are signs everywhere saying that it takes 15-20 minutes for the souffle pancakes to be cooked, ours came out super quickly, in 5 minutes or so. We got it with the sauce on the side, but I regret doing that as I saw others getting it with the sauce on top and it was beautiful. The pancake was super fluffy and a bit eggy as well. We all really enjoyed it with the mango sauce. I made the mistake of eating the pancake first before trying a sip of my tea. The pancake was pretty sweet, so I could barely taste my drink, but I think it was good? I could taste a bit of the lemon but definitely not the white peach, which is a lighter flavor. I got a slice of their Hokkaido cheese cake roll for $7 to go and had it the next day. It was okay but definitely a bit pricy for what you get. I'd love to come back to try their other desserts and pancakes!

I couldn't see myself studying or staying too long, which may be for the best since parking is tricky and street parking has a 2 hour limit. An okay experience, but I don't see myself coming back.

I just saw a false review towards this Armenian owned amazing bakery and I want to address it. Armenian's are the most welcoming and the most hospitable people to any and every other culture, race, religion etc. Every time I walk into this bakery the place smells fresh, it's clean, the workers are very nice and I have seen them help each and every customer with respect and kindness despite the language barrier. As I know the owners myself, they prioritize the quality of the pastries & cakes [such as using the healthiest butter & the most delicious creams which they always recommend without food coloring] and the satisfaction of each costumer. Every birthday cake has been from TeaPot Bakery & so will my wedding cake! I purchased a bar cake from Teapot Bakery and it was clearly old and spoiled. The cream had a strange smell, and it was obvious that it was not fresh and was likely stored for days. This is not only unacceptable in terms of quality, but also potentially dangerous for health. After this experience, I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone. That builds trust and demonstrates accountability. Instead, much of your response focuses on explaining that the price tag may have been moved accidentally by staff or customers. Those are explanations, not accountability. This was one of the last two pieces left in the display, and the incorrect price tag should have been noticed well before my purchase. As I also stated in my response to the Agricultural Commissioner of Weights & Measures Inspector, I am almost certain that after I shared my experience and reviews on social media, the pricing discrepancies would have been already corrected. If that is the case, I genuinely hope those changes help make sure future customers are charged accurately and fairly. Regarding the Kyiv cake, my concern is relatively minimal compared to the pricing issue. It simply did not taste as good as it used to.
