    Hall & Oats

I visited Brooklyn for a work conference and wanted some great coffee. If yall know anything about conferences their coffee sucks and I'm much of a coffee snob. After searching on Yelp. I found this and it's a hidden gem! I returned 3 different times. Twice for myself and a third time with a friend because I hyped it up. I tried the Iced Fall Oat Boy and Hall and Oats. Both were perfect! It was an even balance of the listed ingredients and oat milk done right. Often it's lost in my opinion. I love that the vegan options and wished there was one back at home. It's a small and busy location but the service is fast and efficient. The only downfall is they do not sell the blend they use for their cold brews.

Trying to kill some time so I stop by this great coffee shop. The gentleman at the cashier was very friendly, welcoming and informative. I asked him a few questions about the new drinks. He bought my meal yo my seat. Thank you for being such a warm welcoming person. My drink was delicious and I enjoyed my croissant.

I try the ham and cheese croissant and a ice matcha with oat milk. It was excellent. My ham and cheese was freshly bake with 2 pieces of ham fully stuff inside with yellow cheddar cheese melted on top of the ham. Delicious. Ice matcha was really good. Service was welcoming and informative. I ask about the new drinks and he informed me. It's small coffee shop with few seating areas

I stopped in while commuting to work. Service was pretty decent. I wish they gave the option to substitute the type of bread and or protein. Small cafe sitting area and lots on sunlight with the windows facing the street.

This is my favorite coffee spot in this Downtown Brooklyn area. I'm a die-hard cold brew drinker and hate when places try to pass off iced coffee as cold brew. Gregory's puts those places to shame. Their cold brew is fantastic and I love it so much that I've bought their $35 jug / growler to have at home. I typically drink the Honey Badger but I like their plain cold brew as well. I'm even curious about trying their smoothies (specifically the Purple Rain). Their pastries are also VERY delicious. I'm partial to a croissant but even if I wasn't, the smell of them baking when you walk in is purely intoxicating. I've tried some of their bites, muffins, and cookies and nothing has disappointed me yet ::knocks on wood::. Lastly, major shoutout to the service here. I typically order about 5 minutes in advance and my order is always ready when I arrive. They've kindly exchanged things I disliked (like their Yuzu Tonic, I don't know what was i thinking :/ lol). They also very sweet in answering my questions whenever they change their specialty menu. I usually just pop in here, grab and go, but the couple of times I've stayed, the music and energy were great for a work session. There's not much seating but I've been able to grab a seat whenever I need one and I appreciate that. I love this place and I'm happy to have it in the neighborhood!

    Blended Salted Caramel

I tried to give this place another shot, but the morning crew is so slow it's unreal!!!!! I placed my order on the mobile app at 10:44 it said my order should be ready by 10:51, I got there 11:00 & it still wasn't ready smh. What's so crazy about this is the salted caramel is already premade! They literally are taking it from a jug & just putting ice with it in a blender. There are times I even got here at the time when my order was suppose to be ready & they were starting on my order at the time I was suppose to pick it up. There's just no sense of urgency. This is an extremely busy area with A LOT of commercial businesses over here. You have the court house, post office, DOJ, MTA, social security administration, law offices etc it's a lot of businesses. They cannot handle the volume in this area. I really enjoy the blended salted caramel but I can't keep dealing with the slow morning staff. Today I had to ask for my order to be refunded because I didn't have time to wait, which is why I placed the order in advance which is suppose to be "convenient" but it's far from it.

This is a cute little coffee shop near the kings county courthouse. It is a quick, clean spot for professionals and others to pop in for coffee and refreshments. I enjoyed the strawberry hibiscus refresher. I will be coming again.

Came by to grab a quick coffee as I was staying in downtown Brooklyn for a work trip. Ended up ordering the seasonal pumpkin spice cold brew which turned out to be oddly sour. I wasn't a fan and perhaps it was the combo of the cold brew + cinnamon which impacted the flavor but really all I got were sour notes which I really didn't like and I ended up tossing it away. The pastries looked good through and I would come back to try another drink.

Stoped by since I was in need of a pick me up . Service was quick and easy . And the salted caramel cold brew was just enough. Not too salty or sweet .

This time, we took the F train to Carroll St, walked by a quiet residential area and some busier streets. We ordered and paid by the entrance, given a number and looked for seats. Got a reg scoop of Coffee bean- small scoop, with specks of coffee; and a Warm brownie sundae - small for the price of almost $17- 1 regular scoop of ice cream, flanked by brownie (was good, soft and warm), covered with fudge. Asked for whipped cream and cherry on the side. Missing the shaved chocolate. Atmosphere is not lively for a soda fountain but I loved the decor/old pharmacy items. I asked if there was any way to fix this, and right away, the hostess brought us to another table with a much better view of that magnificent manhattan skyline and river. Then the food. Omg the food. We each ordered our main, after which they bring out an enormous tray of all these lovely nibble salads, pickles, dips, and pita. I don't eat wheat, and haven't my entire life, so I usually don't say anything about it if it seems to me the place doesn't cater to that sort of restriction. The server noticed however, and offered sliced cucumbers for the dips. Such a lovely detail, brava. Did I mention how deeeeeeeelicious everything was? Hubby had the steak shishlika which was perfectly tender and charred at once. I had the chicken shishlika which was good, but not the wow of the steak. Each and every salad, dip, pickle etc was perfectly spiced, cooked, presented. The nuances were just right. Nothing too precious or sideways. Just honest, well built yummy food. And the fries. You MUST get the fries. We ordered the tahini ranch along with the tahini catsup. In my opinion, that wasn't necessary. But if you're a ranch lover, go for it. Then the dessert! Soft serve with a cherry reduction and some kind of flourless chocolate brownie... I don't need to say more. The service was excellent. The food delicious. The view was perfect, though no one celebrated the sun going down like I was told they do. We will go back, with four or more so we can finish all the food.
