Omg I love this place. Probably some of the best coffee in the neighborhood. It's very tiny with limited seating but customers usually don't sit for long. For a tiny spot they have a sensational selection of baked goods. Jam packed with tasty treats. It's a pretty busy place with the courts down the block but if you need a quick cup, the staff is very efficient and incredibly nice. You will be in out in no time with great coffee. I love the Gregory's app which one of the very helpful staff explained to me. I just found out that they fired my favorite employee and the reason I kept coming back to Gregory's. Bad move due. I really like Gregorys Coffee. The coffee is generally pretty good, and the baked goods are delicious. However, Gregorys is quite pricy (I'll add a star if a dollar is knocked off each item), and there's too little seating to spend any extended time with a group of friends or to qualify this as a sit-down neighborhood cafe. At best, it's a good spot to grab coffee to go or to have a quick, informal meeting. (It's not one of those coffee shops that's well positioned for a large group of friends, a date, or an important, intimate meeting.) read more

Really yummy coffee, cool options, and reasonably price. They have a ton of cold brew options that are unique and so good! Their selection of baked goods is also awesome. Coffee is good, but overpriced (which is to be expected). My gripe with this place is the staff. I've been here 3 times - the first time was not memorable. The 2nd time (10am on a Saturday), the 2 women were aggressively complaining about getting off of work and getting stuck with the shift - and gave the customers dirty looks for ordering their beverages! What happened to service with a smile. Today was the last time I go into that place. I walked in today during store hours and was told that they were closed. Surprising that a coffee shop is closed at 7:15 on a weekday. When I asked when they would be open, the employee responded "I don't know, we had a late start", then proceeded to lock the door behind me. Coffee was good. Boston Cream donut was amazing. Prices average. I would come here more often, if seating wasn't always taken. Case in point - I'm sitting next to a person who brought in a beverage from outside, purchased nothing, is charging her phone and using her laptop while her feet are on a chair, preventing other people from sitting. read more

Gregory's on Court Street has been a part of my daily work routine for almost two years now. I work with preschoolers so good coffee is a must for me! These guys have that and more. The staff is so friendly and fun and I frequently have great conversations even as they busily fill multiple rush hour orders. They've changed employees and managers a few times, but they consistently get skilled and extremely personable folks to work at this shop. The one time I had an issue-- I was accidentally overcharged on the app-- they were as nice and helpful as could be in resolving it. read more

We were excited to walk by this shop in Brooklyn! The atmosphere was cozy and the logo is really fun. I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte - I was excited to have coffee so I enjoyed it, but the flavor wasn't very rich/deep. I'm not sure if they put less shots than I'm used to. Manager and staff at this location are great - always remember their regulars and are friendly to newcomers. They're open to feedback and work hard to get your order right. This is one of the smallest Gregory's I've been to, so it can feel a little chaotic and is prone to overheating in the summer, but the team is always smiling and gracious. Writing this review breaks my heart. I use to LOVE coming here every weekday morning and on the wknd. The baristas were always warm, welcoming and friendly. I don't know what happened but it's awful. The girls are rude, the music way too loud and it's always dirty. Please bring back the old staff because what use to be wonderful customer service is now awful. read more

Ugh went to try Gregory's iced coffee and it's awful. Almost undrinkeable. Bitter and I like cold brew and really dark coffee. This is sadly why Starbucks has lines out the door. I really try to do local etc but feel like I get burned 25% of the time. Nice staff, clean, polite, good small set up (only reason not one star) I hope they do well but need quality control. We had espresso at the Borough Plaza in Brooklyn Height and loved it. Place is nice and quite, with high quality coffee.

Heard lots of good things about the coffee and bad things about the service.. this is true. The coffee was super smooth and smelled caramelly. It was delicious for about 10 mins before it got cold because this place is unnecessarily and uncomfortably FREEZING. Asked one of the baristas if it was possible to turn the air off or raise the heat or something and got brushed off. Honestly, it wasn't that serious but I guess freezing my ass off for half an hour had me irritable. I saw so many people order coffee, attempt to get comfortable and then leave because they had the air blasting in their face. No one was able to sit in there for more than 15 mins which would explain why there weren't any customers when I initially walked in. I'm not that distraught over the air, more so disappointed bc I actually wanted to hang out there but couldn't. read more

Compared to other coffee shops, the staff and the service here are phenomenal. I can't remember the name of the guy here who rung up my order and made my drink, but he was exceptionally polite and sweet. As for my smoothie, it was one of the best I've had in Brooklyn so definitely worth that fact that it was on the pricey side. The vegan bar was also a great snack but nothing too special.
