This is a really nice, relaxing spot in downtown Brooklyn. Their lattes are super good--nothing crazy flavor-wise, but simple and done well. I've tried a few things from their menu over time, and overall it's a solid place. The chocolate scone is so good--buttery, fresh, and honestly one of my favorites. Their French toast is huge and definitely unique. It tastes good, but it's a little hard to eat and slightly dry on the inside. Stopped by earlier this morning, definitely a cute cafe and I should be used to the prices (being from SF) but the matcha needs to be good to justify the steep prices you know? The matcha was not mixed and then even after stirring and mixing it was somehow watery and missing depth, it tasted like whole milk exclusively... my Iced Oat Vanilla Bean Latte was better but also at the price it was a little hard to defend. This is really a review JUST for the Lattes and the coffee beans - I didn't try anything else. Lattes - absolutely great. Balanced, with a natural sweetness from the milk. Perfectly steamed milk, that just let the notes from the beans cut through. I also picked up a bag of the beans. Not cheap (especially when you accidentally tip on them) - but really good. l got a fruity colombian coffee that was not easy to dial in, but once I did, the sour notes come through in a way that is really pleasant, and very different from the taste of under extraction. The staff was really friendly. When I asked for mine to be made with equal parts espresso and hot water (when I'm getting over a cold, the dilution helps me enjoy it more), the did the water first, then poured the espresso over it, and even commented when I said "sorry if this is weird" - "Not at all - we like customers who know exactly what they want". Orders came out fast both times. The second time they did forget one part of my order - but I had ordered a hot chocolate split into two cups for my kids (which they actually split) along with 3 lattes for the grownups, and that messed up their count as they handed the drinks. They were apologetic (after verifying I ordered what I said I had) and got my drink right away. The atmosphere is bright and utilitarian. If it wasn't bustling, I would call it stark, but the open feeling coming off of noisy streets is honestly really nice. There was an open table both times I came in (weekdays between 9 and 10 am). Great place to study or even have a virtual meeting. The menu is very diverse- from snacking food like the picture progressing to pasta- the coffee was so good smooth and the barista really listen to me! The dinning area was nice but I felt like the tables were close together. It was slightly easy to move a table over. I did not check for outlets so that's my fault. Here for a short review of the delicious black coffee we picked up on a jaunt through Brooklyn, but also of the incredible staff at this shop. Honestly, my honey and I were in dire need of a bathroom (TMI) walking through the city and stumbled upon this coffee shop. We were in the market for a caffeine bump, which worked out, but the line was long and our bladders were priority. The high school aged kid at the counter kindly gave us the code, and when we followed up with our humble order, said "no worries guys you don't need to buy anything, just go ahead." Strawberry matcha and berry french toast are done so right here! Those are two of my favorites and I can't recommend them enough. My daughter absolutely loved the french toast as well. My second favorite was the short rib ragu... plentiful and delicious. Then the egg sandwich which was super fluffy and similar to a Korean eggo sandwich. I wish there were non-pork options to add onto the sandwich though such as turkey bacon or beef bacon. Hoping that may be added onto their menu later on down the road. The smoked salmon eggs benedict wasn't my favorite -- I did love the option of pouring on your own hollandaise sauce. But the smoked salmon was not the way I preferred. I guess I wish it was harder rather than mushy. Otherwise, it was a great idea; just not executed in the way that I prefer. The tiramisu smoothie is bitter without sugar so if you don't like that... make sure you add sugar. They did warn me ahead of time which I appreciated. Service was pretty fast and everyone at the counter was helpful as well. The attention to detail for every dish was noticed. The presentation was gorgeous and I love how every picture I took came out fabulous because of that. The vibe of the cafe is very chill. The decor is modern and sleek. Came here on a Sunday for some coffee around noon. There were a good amount of customers inside enjoying drinks and brunch. My friends and I got 5 drinks and it came out quickly. Matcha yuzu slush - flavorful and strong yuzu flavor. Very refreshing and perfect for the summer Lavender matcha - lavender taste was subtle and not overpowering which I liked. Not too sweet but I personally think I would've liked it a tad sweeter. Caramel latte - nice caramel flavor, not too sweet like the matcha latte but if you prefer sweeter, you could probably ask for some more sweetener. Oat milk latte - pretty standard and good espresso to milk ratio. Fruit tonic - strawberry flavored and very fizzy and refreshing. Also perfect for summer and a great option if you don't want something caffeinated. I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected. Matcha muffin - okay, a bit dense and the icing on top made it really sticky. I think there were some raspberries maybe also baked in but barely any. Wouldn't get this again. Overall pretty good cafe and I'd come back to try more lattes and the fruit tonic! read more

The coffee was made perfectly, I didn't have to add sugar or anything. The other menu items offered were quite unique as well, there was a jaggery item. Their coffee specialty selection is great from lavender to candied caramel. It is a bit pricey for the food items but it's something we can come to expect now. The space is big and bright with ample seating and natural lighting, but like some reviews note it is chaotic. Some tables are wobbly, and people leave behind their trash instead of putting it away and staff are slow to clean tables. Had a lavender matcha here, which was good but for $8 I was expecting a larger size than 12-14oz. Also had a breakfast burrito which was very okay and had no flavor (no salt/pepper), you really need to use the sauces they provide. I wonder if the kitchen has poor ventilation because the whole place smells like eggs and breakfast foods, which can get overwhelming. They also sell Tom and Jerry figurines and possibly fake? I've visited white noise a few times before but I stopped in recently because I saw a video on tiktok that this cafe now serves korean style pasta dishes so I was intrigued. I visited on a weekday afternoon and they said they only serve pasta Friday - Sunday but that's not indicated on the menu anywhere. Instead, we tried the french toast and the shakshuka. The shakshuka was just ok - the bread that was served with it didn't have the structural integrity to dip into the shakshuka and there was only 1 egg in the whole dish. The french toast was definitely the highlight of my visit. It is a super thick cut milk bread dipped in custard and topped with plenty of fruit. It's sweet and well balanced. I definitely recommend the french toast here! We had to ask multiple times to have the dishes cleared off our table but the french toast makes up for it! read more
