Iced Matcha and Iced Oat Vanilla Bean Latte
Lena T.

Stopped by earlier this morning, definitely a cute cafe and I should be used to the prices (being from SF) but the matcha needs to be good to justify the steep prices you know? The matcha was not mixed and then even after stirring and mixing it was somehow watery and missing depth, it tasted like whole milk exclusively... my Iced Oat Vanilla Bean Latte was better but also at the price it was a little hard to defend. I did really enjoy the Bacon Egg and Cheese, very tasty and it came with a small salad which was nice but also pricey. It's convenient if you're in the area but not necessarily the most cost effective...

Decent coffee shop in downtown Brooklyn. Service was super quick and there's lots of space to sit. Espresso was not super hot though.

Matcha Latte with Oat Milk

I saw White Noise Coffee while staying nearby, and I'm glad I decided to pop in! The café caught my attention because it was consistently busy, which is usually a good sign. I ordered a Matcha Latte with oat milk, and it was great. The matcha was super concentrated with a rich, nutty flavor and had that slightly grainy, authentic texture that I appreciate. It tasted high quality and balanced, not overly sweet, just smooth and earthy in the smoothest way. The café itself is cozy with a modern yet inviting vibe that makes it a great spot to grab-n-go or catch up with friends. Service was quick and efficient; my drink was ready within minutes, even with the steady flow of customers.

Came here since it was the closest coffee shop to my hotel, and I have to say, I was pleasantly impressed! The interior design felt warm and homey, and I really loved the overall vibe. I ended up coming back multiple times throughout my stay in Brooklyn. I tried the cold brew with oat milk, a matcha latte, and a croissant. Both drinks were among the best I had during my trip to NYC, the cold brew had a bold, smooth coffee flavor, and the matcha wasn't watered down (major kudos for that!). The croissant was flaky, buttery, and just the right amount of indulgent. Definitely a spot worth revisiting.

Loved this place. It was right around the corner from our hotel, so that was very convenient. I got an iced Candied Caramel Latte and it was delicious! I've never had a latte that tasted like this before. My husband got a London Fog and liked it as well. And my mom got a drip coffee. I wish they had larger sizes, especially for the drip coffee. The inside was really cute with a ton of seating. The employees were friendly and the service was quick!

Great place to study or even have a virtual meeting. The menu is very diverse- from snacking food like the picture progressing to pasta- the coffee was so good smooth and the barista really listen to me! The dinning area was nice but I felt like the tables were close together. It was slightly easy to move a table over. I did not check for outlets so that's my fault. Overall the service was great, the food and coffee was good, and adequate seating.

Here for a short review of the delicious black coffee we picked up on a jaunt through Brooklyn, but also of the incredible staff at this shop. Honestly, my honey and I were in dire need of a bathroom (TMI) walking through the city and stumbled upon this coffee shop. We were in the market for a caffeine bump, which worked out, but the line was long and our bladders were priority. The high school aged kid at the counter kindly gave us the code, and when we followed up with our humble order, said "no worries guys you don't need to buy anything, just go ahead." Well, the coffee was delicious and the bathroom was clean so here I am giving them their flowers as a positive New York experience.

Great coffee shop on the cusp of cobble hill but located in bustling DT Bklyn. Food looks sooo good. Especially the French toast. I got a plain cold brew which did the trick. Prices seemed decent too. When I was here the place was jammed. So jammed the man behind the counter said "sorry for the wait" which I totally appreciated.

Keepin it real out here in Downtown Brooklyn Fan of White Noise from Queens, checked this one out and liked it. Pretty good cafe for the location, plenty of seating, wifi but sometimes can get the riff raff from random ppl loitering. Don't want to go into specifics but the cafe itself is nice.

Strawberry Matcha & Tiramisu Protein Smoothie

Strawberry matcha and berry french toast are done so right here! Those are two of my favorites and I can't recommend them enough. My daughter absolutely loved the french toast as well. My second favorite was the short rib ragu... plentiful and delicious. Then the egg sandwich which was super fluffy and similar to a Korean eggo sandwich. I wish there were non-pork options to add onto the sandwich though such as turkey bacon or beef bacon. Hoping that may be added onto their menu later on down the road. The smoked salmon eggs benedict wasn't my favorite -- I did love the option of pouring on your own hollandaise sauce. But the smoked salmon was not the way I preferred. I guess I wish it was harder rather than mushy. Otherwise, it was a great idea; just not executed in the way that I prefer. The tiramisu smoothie is bitter without sugar so if you don't like that... make sure you add sugar. They did warn me ahead of time which I appreciated. Service was pretty fast and everyone at the counter was helpful as well. The attention to detail for every dish was noticed. The presentation was gorgeous and I love how every picture I took came out fabulous because of that. The vibe of the cafe is very chill. The decor is modern and sleek. I love the stainless steel furniture pieces. If you're thinking of stopping in, absolutely do... make sure you get that strawberry matcha!

Lavender Matcha

I read the reviews, so I listened to wisdom. The lavender matcha is the best matcha I've had, and I'm a matcha girl, ok? And because the reviews were mixed on the food, I decided to order the breakfast platter because you can't really mess up breakfast... ...and they didn't mess it up. Came out pretty, pretty, pretty good. Love the ambiance. Excellent service. Yet another coffee shop to add to my routine.

Perfect place for overpriced flavorless coffee. It's mostly tourists because no local would rerun.

The ice cream is incredible--rich, flavorful, and tastes homemade. The mango is a standout, and the brownies are honestly next-level--warm, decadent, and just a step away from a perfect lava cake. They've also got amazing cakes (including a fantastic carrot cake) and a great selection of treats that keep you coming back. What really makes this place special, though, is the owner, Peter. He's always welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. He greets customers with a smile, takes the time to say hello, and creates an atmosphere that feels both personal and inviting. The staff deserves just as much praise--every single one of them is amazing: professional, friendly, funny, and kind. I've known many of them over time, and they consistently go above and beyond. Today, one of the staff members was incredibly sweet--she even brought my order out to me while I was sitting in my car. That kind of service is rare and really shows how much they care. The shop itself is spotless--seriously clean, top to bottom--and there's even a cozy outdoor seating area where you can sit and enjoy your coffee or dessert. Brooklyn FARMACY at its best--fresh, friendly, local, and full of charm. Highly recommend stopping by--you won't regret it.

Anyway, I was in Brooklyn with my brother to see a concert and had just finished dinner. We had some time before doors opened so we decided to grab a little ice cream before heading over to the venue. Farmacy was steps away - it all seemed like it was meant to be, so off we went. Farmacy aims to capture the nostalgia of an old fashioned soda shop and ice cream parlor. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by aesthetics - the tile, fixtures, and decor totally give off that vibe. There are a few tables to sit as well as a large bar area with stools; I also noticed a few tables set up outside as well. The traffic flow is set up so that you order first and then have it served to you after sitting. Browsing the menu, I noticed they have a selection of ice cream scoops, shakes, egg creams, specialty sodas, hot chocolates, and a large variety of sundae creations. Since we were there for ice cream, we decided to split a sundae -specifically the Sir Twix-a-Lot. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. Overall I thought the sundae was solid - but the combinations of textures weren't my favorite to be honest, mostly with how the shortcake played with the ice cream. It wasn't bad though - the flavors definitely gave the Twix aesthetic. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. Service was good - everyone was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we had our selection of seats and our ice cream was ready pretty quickly. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried Brooklyn Farmacy out - they have a large selection so I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Before the main even arrives you're already happy! The pickled vegetables, baba ganoush, cabbage salad and olives kept things exciting from the start. The Steak Shishlik was the real moment though, beautifully charred, tender and served on a metal platter with pickled red onions and sumac tahini. Just really solid, satisfying dish. Drinks were a vibe too. The Pomegranate Cosmo was deep pink, orchid-topped and delicious. The Hot Crush brought a bright kiwi flavor with just enough spice to keep it interesting. And the Brown Sugar Soft Serve with halva oat crumble to finish? Light, a little crunchy and the perfect ending.

Overall, I'd give the experience a 4/5 for the service, atmosphere, views, and overall vibe. If I were rating the food alone, though, I'd say it was good, but not quite mind-blowing. I also have a strong feeling there's probably a noticeable difference between lunch and dinner service, although I can't say for sure. We went with the prix fixe menu. The salatim, hummus, and pita are unlimited, which is a great deal. The hummus was excellent--smooth, flavorful, and easily one of my favorite parts of the meal. The pita was fresh, warm, and constantly replenished. Among the salatim, I especially enjoyed the fennel and cabbage salad and the cucumber salad. The olive-cornichon mix and the pickled vegetables were good, but didn't stand out as much. For mains, the spicy lamb kofta was very good--well-seasoned, juicy, and served with a generous portion of tahini that was way more than needed. They also bring a small bowl of buttery cilantro rice for the table, which is a thoughtful touch, although honestly the unlimited pita was more than enough. The one disappointment was the brisket dog. We ordered it expecting something special, but it was surprisingly dry. The challah bun completely overwhelmed the sausage, and the cabbage topping plus crispy fried onions didn't add any moisture. The accompanying sauce was tahini-based, so it leaned dry as well instead of balancing everything out. On the bright side, it came with incredibly crispy fries and a delicious house ketchup that tasted much better than a standard bottled ketchup. Dessert was the soft serve, which was perfectly fine but nothing particularly memorable. For drinks, the mango cocktail with chili and lime was refreshing and hard to dislike. I also tried the fig arak drink. It was good and exciting to try, but I realized I'm just not much of a star anise person, so it wasn't really my style. The standout of the night was the restaurant's namesake cocktail, something wolf. Even though it's made with arak, I barely noticed it. The rum, passion fruit, and tropical flavors came together beautifully, making it taste like something you'd happily sip on a beach. Easily my favorite thing I drank that evening. Overall, given so many great restaurants in Brooklyn I might not come back to this but will say that it would be amazing to do a big group meal here - especially with the gorgeous views. Aesthetics on point for sure :)

Seating space (not a lot of it, so I imagine it can get packed on busy times) and bathrooms on premises. Hot chocolate was delicious. We got the spiced dark chocolate and the spices were overwhelming. Get dark chocolate without spices. The extra dollar for marshmallow made the chocolate even sweeter, so it was overwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. But. The extra dollar for whipped cream would be nice because the their homemade whipped cream isn't sweet, so it will just thicken up the drink and give you that extra texture oooomph that you'll appreciate. Torino cafe is basically coffee added to any hot chocolate of your choice. That was tasty with dark chocolate. You definitely tasted the coffee and it was less thick than regular hot chocolate (which was on a thinner, sippier side). You can sample ice cream to make your selection. It's all very sweet, so if you're looking for a less sweet option go with Belgian dark chocolate flavor. For a $18 banana split you get three scoops of ice cream and a caramelized banana. Not a big portion for such hefty price. The tiny addition of toppings didn't make this banana split come together into a cohesive dish. Would get something else next time. Definitely not a good deal. Young lovely girls at the cashier were super friendly and accommodating. The not so young gentleman with a mustache who brought our order to the table was very dismissive and rude when we asked him to please bring us a correct order (he carried multiple orders and was harried to be done delivering them and barked something incoherent at us when we asked for help).

The shop itself is small but cute, nicely decorated, with 2 mini tables and a couple of windowsill seats if you want to sit for a bit. Staff was super friendly and generous with samples, which I appreciated since some of the flavors are definitely outside the usual ice cream comfort zone. They also sell pints to take home. Flavor-wise, I tried the masala chai, black cherry cardamom, and the saffron soft serve. The saffron soft serve reminded me of the leftover milk from ras malai turned into soft serve, which was interesting and nostalgic. The masala chai and cherry cardamom were more subtle than I hoped. Some tasted unique upfront but left a slightly weird aftertaste that kind of lingered. I respect what they're trying to do and can see why people love it, especially if you're easing into more globally inspired desserts, but for the price, I wanted stronger flavor payoff and a cleaner finish. TLDR: Unique global inspired ice cream flavors, friendly staff, and free samples, but some flavors felt muted and had an odd aftertaste.
