this cafe serves a variety of matchas! I went for the iced oat raspberry matcha ($7) and my friend got the iced oat rose cold foam matcha ($7). the matcha itself was not bad, smooth and I could taste it. would ask for a little less sweet next time but overall not bad

Matcha latte with strawberry purée. Well balanced, not too sweet or strong.

Super cute and IG friendly spot with great service for coffee and tea drinks. Love their creative drink menu options -- mint mocha latte, rose latte, strawberry matcha, chai and more! There's just enough variety without being too much. Small pastries available but the larger breakfast menu is only available weekdays. Limited immediate seating inside but the cafe is connected to the Aloft hotel so it's pretty spacious in general.

Terrible experience. Paid $8.44 for a latte. It didn't have enough of the flavor I paid extra for... could not taste it at all. Politely asked for extra flavor. The response? The barista mumbled to me "you should have said that earlier." Pardon? For a place with the nerve to charge such outrageous prices, at least have polite people working. Garbage was overflowing... the pastries in the case looked rock hard, and the ambiance was lacking... behind the counter were stacks of gatorades etc. would not return.

This place is a little gem. The staff was extremely happy and friendly. The breakfast sausage, egg & cheese bagel was delicious. The coffee was a jolt of energy and the place is super cool. I love staying at the Sheraton so I can eat breakfast here every morning.

This restaurant is in the lobby of the Wyndham hotel downtown Brooklyn. I ordered avocado toast and a regular coffee. While I waited I noticed one server making an egg sandwich without wearing gloves. My server had on gloves so I was happy about that. On the window the restaurant had a B rating but on the door it had an A rating. My breakfast was just okay, nothing to jump and down about.

Maybe this is on me, but I didn't realize how overly sweet this would be. It really felt like drinking syrup straight, no hint of coffee or anything in the drink. Very pretty, and maybe for someone with a big sweet tooth, but not for me!

Such good coffee and it's right in our hotel which is super convenient, the prices are average, staff is friendly. And it's beautiful inside.

    Rose latte

Ambience/location- good Medium sized cafe, next to a hotel and in front of a local park across Trader Joe's. A bit loud pop music. Cute trendy decorations, insta worthy two lavender swings. Coffee- fair Got a rose latte. The color is unappetizing murky strawberry milk color. Taste is bit on the a sweet side with a bitter coffee aftertaste. The rose taste is well-balanced (not too overpowering but noticeable). Service- good Got my drink in no time. Two or three customers studying/quietly conversing inside. Not crowded. Overall 3.5 - if around the area and need a place for a quick sip/to relax, this is an option.

The cafe was connected to my hotel so I decided to try it out one day. It was so cute inside! I got a hot coffee with caramel and oatmilk and I can't complain! The staff was nice and it was a nice, relaxing cafe to sit in while waiting for my Uber!

Great spot to grab breakfast or lunch, especially if you're staying the adjacent Sheraton and Aloft hotels. I enjoyed the smoked salmon croissant and an iced coffee. Very cute spot with friendly staff!!

    Beautiful inside space!

Worker was rude, and my bagel was inedible after waiting twenty minutes for our order. We were the only customers in there.

My room at the Sheraton wasn't ready yet, so I decided to stop here and treat myself to a matcha.

You must have the Brussels sprouts!! I'd go back for those in a minute! I very much enjoyed my salmon dish. Lovely presentation and preparation but portion a bit small. However, the Brussels sprouts were so generous portion that even after sharing there was "take home" for us. The chocolate mousse was extraordinary! I don't even want to know the calorie count - but worth it!! My one negative was the chill of the Cabernet Yes, I know that's the trend but personally I prefer room temp especially in cold weather The restaurant owner was gracious, staff actually charming and accommodating We are recommending this place to family and friends and plan to return especially when going to BAM ENJOY!!

Walked in and was able to get a seat without reservation, but it definitely filled up by 6/7 pm. The place is dimly lit and the tables are quite small. For the food, we got their Brussel sprouts, shrimp, salmon entree and chicken entree. Our favorite were definitely the shrimp. But everything else when eaten together tasted a bit too greasy and felt monotonous in terms of flavor. Brussel sprouts were fried and held to a decent amount of oil, then the addition of tahini made it even more oily. Pan chicken we expected whole pieces of chicken but it was more like a thin chicken cutlet. The salmon came with a cauliflower puree which tasted so rich (with butter), but I couldn't finish it bc it was so rich.

I ordered a single burger and a Sudan spiced peanut butter latte, for ~$15! That's pretty inexpensive for New York City. I note this as some consider it overpriced. I suppose the food is fairly inexpensive, the lattes slightly higher than average. The "burger" comes wrapped in a homemade pita with diced cucumber, onion, and tomato, plus a few crispy, thick-cut fries and a yummy house sauce. It was a cool twist of the traditional burger and had a nice flavor. The sauce was like a slightly Mediterranean version of Big Mac sauce. The girl working as the barista and cashier was very nice and friendly. She had a nice presence and warm smile, made suggestions, and even gave a stranger free utensils when they popped on to ask. I think it's definitely worth checking out, and it's a good place for a cheap & simple meal that's still quirky and fun.

Perhaps I should have anticipated that, or my mistake in ordering. I also ordered a Moroccan egg salad sandwich which was substantive but surprisingly bland--sparse with the advertised capers and pickled red onions to give it more punch. I've always loved the look of the spot and the vibe--funky decor, outside and indoor facing counters to order, with some outdoor seating for people watching on Dekalb or heading nearby Ft. Greene Park. I see they are renovating and rebranding a bit and adding some burger component. While I didn't love it, I'd definitely give it another shot.
