Who is baking in the back?! Please come to the front. Because they forgot my banana loaf slice and instead replaced it with a blueberry muffin excuse me? I was too lazy or tired to complain. And I'm glad I didn't. Because it's the best blueberry muffin I've ever had: not overly dense, moist, and not overly sweet. The coffee is always on point for me. Today I had the mocha. Tomorrow I'll be having something and trying to get a slice of the banana loaf. If it's half as good as the muffin, I'm sure it sells out quickly! read more

I always stop by this Gregorys Coffee when I am nearby. The barista is quick in making my drink. However, I only go here after my SoulCycle or Hot8Yoga class. Thus, I am not in a rush to leave. I recommend their drip coffee and banana bread since those items are my go to order. read more

Came here recently to get a specialty hot coffee drink and a breakfast burrito. This place is always bustling with people and fortunately I always order ahead to avoid a long wait. The space is small yet cozy and kept clean. The lighting is also good. Was happy to find my order ready for pickup. The drink was still pipping hot as well as my burrito nice and warm. read more

It's a small shop that often struggles to keep up with morning orders, given the high traffic in the morning, although it is MUCH faster than the Starbucks at Metro Tech. The thing about this shop, however, is that they recently changed some staff and put an industrial metal fridge in the window where there used to be a couple of seats. Looks very uninviting. Some menu items are now missing as well. I've given this feedback to Gregory's a couple times but they do not seem interested in making this shop look less like a storage area than a cafe. read more

Hey all I love Gregory's Coffee the is fresh and bold perfect for this NYC lady !!!! As stated in many of reviews ice coffee is my go to beverage all year round read more

I visited Brooklyn for a work conference and wanted some great coffee. If yall know anything about conferences their coffee sucks and I'm much of a coffee snob. After searching on Yelp. I found this and it's a hidden gem! I returned 3 different times. Twice for myself and a third time with a friend because I hyped it up. I tried the Iced Fall Oat Boy and Hall and Oats. Both were perfect! It was an even balance of the listed ingredients and oat milk done right. Often it's lost in my opinion. I love that the vegan options and wished there was one back at home. It's a small and busy location but the service is fast and efficient. The only downfall is they do not sell the blend they use for their cold brews. read more

My ham and cheese was freshly bake with 2 pieces of ham fully stuff inside with yellow cheddar cheese melted on top of the ham. Delicious. Ice matcha was really good. Service was welcoming and informative. I ask about the new drinks and he informed me. It's small coffee shop with few seating areas read more

I hate writing a negative review about a place that actually makes excellent coffee, but my experience with ordering from Gregorys Coffee online has been incredibly frustrating. Let me start by saying the coffee itself is very, very good. That's the reason I placed the order in the first place. If this review were based purely on the quality of the coffee, it would easily deserve a high rating. However, ordering online has been a completely different story. I placed an order on February 23, and as of today I still have not received it. Even more frustrating than the delay is the complete lack of communication. I have tried calling and emailing multiple times and no one has returned my calls or responded to my messages. When a company takes your money and then goes silent, that's not just frustrating--it's unacceptable. At this point, the issue isn't just the delay. It's the feeling that no one seems to care. A simple response explaining the situation or providing an update would go a long way, but the silence has been deafening. Honestly, it makes me wonder if the company is expanding faster than it can realistically handle. Gregorys seems to be growing rapidly, opening more locations and pushing their brand, but the infrastructure to support customers--especially for online orders--doesn't appear to be keeping up. When demand increases but customer service and fulfillment don't scale with it, situations like this happen. Again, the coffee itself is great. But great coffee doesn't excuse poor communication and extremely disappointing customer service. Until Gregorys improves the way they handle online orders and customer support, I would strongly caution people about ordering directly from them. Very disappointing experience. read more

The best Coffee in NYC, the new sandwiches are amazing, and the pastries are always so tasty. Love this place.

I stopped in while commuting to work. Service was pretty decent. I wish they gave the option to substitute the type of bread and or protein. Small cafe sitting area and lots on sunlight with the windows facing the street. read more

Bit high-priced, although with a good selection. In-house drinks are very good. Start with their salted caramel for a balanced introduction.

The employees are friendly, hardworking, and do the best they can, which is why it's disappointing to see them having to work without air conditioning during extreme heat. With temperatures reaching around 100°F, this isn't just uncomfortable it's a serious health and safety concern. I've seen previous reviews mention this issue, yet it still hasn't been addressed. The staff deserve a safe and healthy work environment, and I hope management takes this seriously and fixes the problem as soon as possible. read more

This is my favorite coffee spot in this Downtown Brooklyn area. I'm a die-hard cold brew drinker and hate when places try to pass off iced coffee as cold brew. Gregory's puts those places to shame. Their cold brew is fantastic and I love it so much that I've bought their $35 jug / growler to have at home. I typically drink the Honey Badger but I like their plain cold brew as well. I'm even curious about trying their smoothies (specifically the Purple Rain). Their pastries are also VERY delicious. I'm partial to a croissant but even if I wasn't, the smell of them baking when you walk in is purely intoxicating. I've tried some of their bites, muffins, and cookies and nothing has disappointed me yet ::knocks on wood::. Lastly, major shoutout to the service here. I typically order about 5 minutes in advance and my order is always ready when I arrive. They've kindly exchanged things I disliked (like their Yuzu Tonic, I don't know what was i thinking :/ lol). They also very sweet in answering my questions whenever they change their specialty menu. I usually just pop in here, grab and go, but the couple of times I've stayed, the music and energy were great for a work session. There's not much seating but I've been able to grab a seat whenever I need one and I appreciate that. I love this place and I'm happy to have it in the neighborhood! read more

I tried to give this place another shot, but the morning crew is so slow it's unreal!!!!! I placed my order on the mobile app at 10:44 it said my order should be ready by 10:51, I got there 11:00 & it still wasn't ready smh. What's so crazy about this is the salted caramel is already premade! They literally are taking it from a jug & just putting ice with it in a blender. There are times I even got here at the time when my order was suppose to be ready & they were starting on my order at the time I was suppose to pick it up. There's just no sense of urgency. This is an extremely busy area with A LOT of commercial businesses over here. You have the court house, post office, DOJ, MTA, social security administration, law offices etc it's a lot of businesses. They cannot handle the volume in this area. I really enjoy the blended salted caramel but I can't keep dealing with the slow morning staff. Today I had to ask for my order to be refunded because I didn't have time to wait, which is why I placed the order in advance which is suppose to be "convenient" but it's far from it. read more

VEGAN REVIEW Wow, this place has A LOT of vegan love-- blueberry muffin, pumpkin loaf, breakfast burrito & breakfast croissant sandwich. Many plant based milk options for drinks. Came by to grab a quick coffee as I was staying in downtown Brooklyn for a work trip. Ended up ordering the seasonal pumpkin spice cold brew which turned out to be oddly sour. I wasn't a fan and perhaps it was the combo of the cold brew + cinnamon which impacted the flavor but really all I got were sour notes which I really didn't like and I ended up tossing it away. The pastries looked good through and I would come back to try another drink. read more

This place consistently gets my order incorrect. I have ordered a biscotti testarossa latte twice that has actually been just unsweetened coffee and milk that I received. No syrup, no zest, no cold foam, etc. I have ordered a cherry blossom matcha latte before that I received as just milk and matcha. This can't be a coincidence. This is the 4th time. See below the biscotti testarossa latte that I ordered compared to what it's supposed to be. read more

The coffee drinks here are always amazing. Just picked up a Black Forest Latte and it was delicious. It was also ready and waiting for me (mobile app order) with one of those splash sticks/stoppers on the lid which I think is thoughtful and useful. While neat, cozy (small) , and nice looking, I wish the cafe's physical design was just more "comfy" but perhaps that's just not the aesthetic. read more

I used to go to Gregory's in Manhattan and had no idea there was a Brooklyn location. Stopped by for coffee and breakfast on my way to WeWork office in New York. I tried their New Yorker sandwich one day and their Deluxe sandwich on the other day. I'd say the New Yorker is better in that the brioche bun is very soft and goes well with the egg. The Deluxe sandwich felt like the croissant and the insides were not very well meshed together an falls apart easily. The croissant was also not that good/slightly too chewy and dry on the outside. Their lattes are delicious. read more
