Ed was very helpful in figuring out the best approach to some tree work we needed. It took awhile…read moreto finally schedule the crew to come and prune/shape three trees (oak, crabapple, magnolia) and do some shaping of our redwoods, but once here they did a great job and did a good clean up. Reasonable pricing also! We'll use them again.

I'm not happy about leaving these comments. I've communicated my issue with Ed Evans, he said he…read morewould make things right. Then he ghosted us. It's been almost 2 months since he last communicated, so I write my experience to warn you. He was dishonest, he accepted payment for work he didn't do, he won't communicate or make things right. We hired Ed and his company to cut down 4 trees and remove 5 stumps. One stump required the dismantling of a section of fence which he agreed to do and then repair it. We had a written agreement and paid him in full. Expensive but worth it, we thought. The fence didn't need to be dismantled and replaced because the stump was rotten and removed by hand. When suckers started growing from the roots of two of the removed trees and stumps, I started digging up large roots. Under a pile of wood chips I found 2 stumps that had only been ground to surface level. I sent photos to him and asked for removal assistance. After several attempts he said he would come by and remove them. Then we got ghosted. He won't respond. I think he's fine if things go well. However, If there is an issue, he reveals his true self. The 2 stumps are in what will be an in ground food garden area and can't be poisoned. They're still there. I've used a sawsall and a jackhammer. Beware
