They removed 20 giant privets, a liquidambar tree, two very tall cypress trees and cut various branches off of an oak and a pine tree that were intruding on our home. Updating my review. Henry and his crew did a great job the day that they came out to remove the redwood tree; however, the tree is growing back. I had it "removed" due to the damage the roots were causing to the driveway and sewer lines. The roots are still very alive and I now have a large redwood bush growing in the front yard. Not sure that Henry and his crew can do much about this, but I can't even get a return phone call after numerous attempts over several months. Super disappointing and unprofessional. Henry was both warm and extremely professional when he came out to provide a bid, was very COVID sensitive in wearing a mask and also keeping physical distance, and his price was the best in the market. Moreover, five queen palms, one Mexican fan palm, and a hefty job pruning an overgrown 30 foot fig tree that was causing damage to our roof were all done in under an hour with every bit of debris hauled away, too. He started All Stars three years ago and has really set the standards for top quality tree service. He has his arborist certificate and is highly knowledgeable. He will tell you which trees do best trimmed in the warmer months and which are best saved for trimming in the winter. He can probably answer any question you have about your trees. Henry thinks outside the box and will give suggestions for things such as bringing more light into a dark area of a home, and is well aware of what needs to e trimmed to keep a house safe from fires. He is professional and promptly responds to phone calls and texts. Henry met with us at the start of each two day job as well as at the end which was helpful. He is a nice person and easy to work with. During a very busy tree trimming season with California wildfires raging, we were pleased that Henry was able to schedule our large job within the week of giving his estimate, which was quite fair. Other companies were also busy, but they were booking weeks out. Henry's crew was professional and quite adept at their job. Not only did they do a great job of trimming, but they also did a great clean up of what they trimmed off. They will surpass your clean up expectations. We had Henry and his team come out to significantly cut back a sycamore tree that hovers over our home as well as a busy street. He also cleaned up an oak and ash tree. I love that the day Henry came out to bid the job I got a text in the AM to confirm our appointment time. He was on time to bid the work and start the work one week later. Our tree was not an easy job, it required a permit with the city and traffic control. These guys were talented and professional with handling all aspects of the job. Henry and his team trimmed and thinned out a huge Sequoia tree in our back yard. The tree had been planted when my brother brought it home from school in a plastic milk carton, when he was a in 3rd grade. My brother is now 66 years old so you can only imagine how many years that tree has been growing there. It had never been trimmed or cared for in those 56 years since it had been planted. PG&E removed a tall, beautiful canary palm that was the centerpiece of our front yard because it would touch the high-voltage wires when the wind blew. Because PG&E doesn't have stump grinders, we had to find a company to grind the remaining stump. We called All Stars, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Henry was excellent at providing a timely quote and the insurance certificates that I requested. His communication throughout the process was excellent, planning the date to do the work and getting back to me whenever I emailed him.
