I have many smaller delicate plants below the trees along with lots of handmade ceramic sculptures, all of which they protected perfectly. Part of the work was to trim five tall palm trees. They checked in with me to make sure I was happy with how each tree looked, and I was. We have a huge black bamboo hedge that we wanted to trim down to reduce fire hazard. This is my second time using Febronio Tree Service and once again, this team is AWESOME! I have a steep hillside full of dry grass and brush, very large trees, and fallen tree branches. I hired them to clean all of this up ahead of the late summer fire season. I also asked them to trim or remove several shrubs and trees throughout the property. I contracted with Febronio to prune a number of redwood trees that form the canopy over my house. Fernando was on time for our initial estimate meeting, followed up quickly with a written quote that matched his on-site estimate, and scheduled a date. In-short, he made the process easy. The work was done professionally and on-time. I have five redwoods close to the house with dead limbs that were overhanging the structure. The Febronio team took great care of the property and my gardens while working overhead. It's very difficult to completely control the falling debris even with the rope controls so Fernando had extra workers on the job to help with the limb control and clean up. They were also very good with managing the debris piles that were on the street so as not to affect my neighbors and the traffic flow on our tight street. Highly recommend. read more

Febronio's trucks and crews just keep showing up in our neighborhood, before and after our job. Seems like they get called in a lot! Fernando gives good recommendations on tree maintenance - he'll let you know about cuts that would look good, what would improve stability of the tree, etc. When they were here during the job, the foreman asked me for clarification a couple of times on how I wanted the trees, shrub, branches, to be trimmed. His crews are experienced and are managed well, but I'd rather they ask me and be sure if they need to. They cared about how I wanted it to look. They cleaned up the yards afterwards and moved furniture back into place (an important final bit of work). I'm sure we'll call them for the next time. read more

I received several quotes to remove them and although one was less expensive, I felt very comfortable with Fernando and his understanding and scope of the job. His team arrived on time and they were extremely professional and efficient. I could not believe the speed, rhythm, and accuracy at which they worked. It was like watching a precision dance. They not only did a great job of cleaning up the debris they made but also cleaned the rest of my back yard of leaves and debris. We had outdoor lights strung to one of the trees that was removed. Fernando even went so far as to install a 2x4 with a hook to the upper part of our fence and restring the lights to it. If you need trees removed I would not consider anyone but Febronio. Febronio Tree Service did wonders to our back yard. Our yard is mostly on a steep slope and we needed to remove a lot of deadwood and undergrowth. They quoted a day's rate, due to the amount of anticipated work and difficulty. In my past experiences with manual labor crews, a "day rate" estimate often means guaranteed pay, with little work. This was certainly not the case with Febronio's! I think we ended up with the better end of the bargain as Febronio's arrived on time, left on time, and easily did a week's worth of work in a day! Febronio's showed up with a big, capable crew, with the correct tools and safety equipment, and spent the day clearing the underbrush, lifting the canopy of healthy trees, and eliminating dozens and dozens of what I dubbed "weed trees." They left a number of healthy trees and uncovered some amazingly interesting ones that were previously hidden from view. They chopped and hauled away the debris and left very little trace of their presence (no garbage, haulage tracks, left-behind branches / trunks, etc.) Febronio's asked questions when necessary and always listened to my concerns and opinions. Like I said, my yard is very steep, and the crew - with sharp and dangerous tools in hand - always put safety ahead of convenience. Fernando is awesome! He knows his stuff when it comes to all things green and lush or brown and dead, like my tree. I had a big ol' fruitless mulberry tree that fell over and died. This thing was a monster. I needed it removed with the stump ground up and all. I also had 3 hideous tall bush thingies in my front yard that I wanted taken out as well. Fernando came out to scope the job. I was expecting several hundred bucks, and he quoted me $500, which was reasonable. They were very busy so he was unable to get to the job for a week and a half. On the day of our appointment, Fernando wanted to start on the trees in the front before my husband and I were home. I did ask that he wait to do the tree in the backyard until my husband got home to wrangle our three dogs in the house. Two of them are not nice, and one likes to bolt out the gate and never come back. Fernando and his guys went in the yard anyway, and although my dogs didn't escape, we were surprised to hear that no one was bit. Next time we will be sure to schedule service when we are home. Bottom line: Reasonably priced and the work was done quickly. Schedule ahead of time since they are busy! read more

I called several places to get an estimate on trimming 12 trees around the pool and removing another tree, as well as removing a pile of stuff that I had already stacked. Fernando gave us the best estimate. They were really busy, so we made an appointment for two weeks out. Fernando called and asked if he could come out the day before he was scheduled and we agreed. His crew went above and beyond, they removed all of the debris I had created, removed the tree and made sure it would not come back. The work was completed quickly and professionally. Holy Crap. I have never run so fast to my computer to write a review. Febronio's crew is still cleaning up at the house that I just bought. I had a landscape contractor checking out my new mystery landscape, and he mentioned that a tree guy named Fernando was working on a job for him just down the street. He texted Fernando who stopped by our place to check out a large oak on the property's south side that was in dire of need of.... something. It had branches in the power line, on our roof, and was growing crooked due to poorly distributed weight. This is a BIG tree. Anyway, Fernando came by and took a tour and instantly put us at ease. Now, as a new homeowner, I have developed a healthy distrust of contractors in general. For me, the first litmus test is a prompt way to communicate. Febronios has a nice receptionist who called to set up an appointment, and when I left a message to confirm, I received a prompt call back. Professionalism check. Today, I just went by the house and my jaw dropped. This tree looks soooo beautiful and healthy now. A misplaced juniper was also removed from the backyard, and the crew cleaned up our yucca trees, redwoods, pines and walnuts. I wish I had a six pack for the crew. they look tired. I'm so grateful. I've used Febronio Tree Service for the last 10 years and have always been happy with their professionalism, the value for the work I received, and excellent customer service. We live on a steep hill with lots of tall trees, so working on our property can be challenging. Fernando, the owner, goes all out to make sure he delivers what he promised (and more when it fits in the scheduled time allotted). His crews are skilled and highly experienced at their jobs and work as a team. They are meticulous in cleaning up the resulting branch and leaf debris and are very courteous. I really appreciate how well they clean up after they are done, and because I asked that they leave the mulch from the grinder on my property, they did that and did a terrific, conscientious job of spreading it around. Owner Fernando came out, on time, to give me a quote for the fairly extensive work; big trim on front yard tree, even bigger trim on tree in back, remove and stump grind one tree, and smaller trims on two others. We scheduled a day/time for job, on said day his crew showed up, again on time, we walked around again to confirm work, I left for work myself, leaving them alone to do their job. I returned to exactly what was agreed on, and more... Fernando even re-hung some outdoor lights and put up the owl house my neighbor requested.
