I had a very tall (maybe 5 or 6 stories high) and leaning tree which, if it had fallen - which seemed very possible - would have caused a lot of damage. The Tree Man's estimate was much better than the other I got, and Fredy and Edgar were very responsive to questions beforehand. Crew arrived on time and between the climber / cutter and his crew with ropes below, did an amazing job of taking down the whole thing with great efficiency. Left the area very clean. Very pleased to have found this company, respect their work, and will recommend them to others. read more

Fredy was wonderful. Reasonably priced and the job was done quick and they cleaned up beautifully. Would hire again in a heartbeat.

Reposting my review after Yelp deleted it for mentioning the tree guy I ended up using... Wish I could give 5 stars - Wanted to support a local crew and went with Aaron (The Tree Man). He came to my house and provided a quote to which I agreed. He indicated his crew would be there either the next day or the day after that. I stayed home both days and he never showed or called or texted. I texted him asking why he hadn't come or called or texted about the job and never received a response. His crews have been working the roads, possibly for PGE, and I saw them out working while I was waiting for him to contact me. I'm guessing he is too busy or something, who knows? --- I ended up going with another local company [insert deleted company] and was very happy with their service. read more

We are avid gardeners and very particular how our garden looks. The Tree Man gave us a very good estimate and did a fantastic job pruning our tree. They cleaned up and were attentive to our other plants. No need to look any further. read more

We had a great experience with The Tree Man LLC removing a 65-foot tall pine tree and other minor limbing. Communication was responsive and clear, the estimate was accurate and reasonable, and the foreman worked with us on the limbing to shape the tree. They arrived on time with a crew of six really nice guys who worked hard all day, took care to avoid damage to surroundings and cleaned up after. Excellent value. Highly recommended! read more

Yesterday The Tree Man tree maintenance service came to our house to remove a tree stump Kyle and his staff did an excellent job. Everyone kind and respectful to me. They also respected our property around the the task. I watched they very efficiently did their job. I met with a arborist and she recommended them. Now I see why! Ron and his son Freddie took really good care of me. We have 5 acres in Sonoma County and they came up for 4 days and really transformed the property. They were really good at advising me on which trees to top vs which trees to remove. They brought heavy duty equipment and they were really efficient at getting things done. They also were able to handle tree removal near fences and power lines without issue. I will use them again in our next phase once we start building. Highly recommend. read more

Really happy with the trimming on my old Valley Oak. The price was fair and they were great about communicating what they were doing and why. They discovered that one of the big branches over our yard and house was rotten almost all the way through. They removed it and I feel a high sense of relief that we took it down before it could fall. read more

I've used The Tree Man for more than a decade, in both maintenance and emergency situations. They're knowledgeable arborists, skillful trimmers, and very professional. In this case I have a couple of big oaks that needed significant pruning for fire and wind safety. They kept a safe work site and left my yard, and my neighbors, clean. Showed up on time, kept to the agreed scope and budget. I couldn't recommend them more. Thank you guys for another great job. read more

Amazing work!!! So hard working and efficient. It was around 105 degrees out and these guys worked to get it done ASAP. The tree was HUGE. They swung around like Cirque de Sole. Highly recommend. read more

From start to finish they were amazing! We had 3 companies provide quotes for removing several very large dead trees from our properties and the Tree Man provided the best value. If you want genuine hardworking pleasant fair folks with ingenuity these are them. They are refreshingly respectful in the true old fashion sense of the word. They have a nice sense of aesthetics and offer intelligent feedback spending time to help think things out to reach the most satisfactory outcome. We are very pleased to have discovered them and even more pleased with their work. We worked with Fredy and his skilled crew. Throughout the process Fredy communicated clearly and checked in with us. We had several dead trees, including huge oak trees removed from 2 different properties, as well as some tree trimming. When it came to tree trimming, it was clear they knew what they were doing, so that the trees looked well groomed. All of the dead trees were removed carefully, so other foliage around them were not impacted. When one of the large oak trees surprisingly turned out to have concrete stuck in the bottom of the truck the crew worked tirelessly to solve for us. At the end of the work, everything was cleaned up perfectly. After all the work was complete, we spent time raving about what a great job they did and how respectful and skilled they were, so figured we should write a review! read more

A huge coastal oak fell through the roof of our home in March. I reached out to many tree companies to talk about handling the removal. Freddie came over to assess the situation and provided us with a clear overview of our options and a competitive quote. The crew that came the following week was impressive, efficient and hardworking and were careful not to do any more damage as they extracted limbs from our attic. We had them come back to grind the stump which was complicated because of access issues, and they didn't leave a trace of the stump or visible roots that extended far beyond the tree. We appreciated them doing even more than was expected. On both occasions, they left the area completely clear of debris. I will hire again for future tree trimming needs. read more

A week ago Fredy and the rest of the crew came and did a fantastic job with our trees, removing 2 large ones and trimming 3 others. They showed up on time, they were polite, they cleaned up everything, having a giant chipper on the street at the ready. We highly recommend them, have used them before and will use them again!!! read more

Absolutely amazing service. The team was able to go from bid to completed work in a week on two separate occasions. They were incredibly fast and professional. We had them tackle a mixture of Redwood / Pine trimming and a number of Acacia tree removals. Highly recommend!! read more

The Tree Man - There were three trees on the left - Tree Services Near Me - Fairfax, California

We hired The Tree Man to trim a redwood and a couple of oaks. They were prompt in responding to our request for a quotation and much more reasonably priced than the other quote we got. They did the job promptly when they said they would, they were easy to deal with, professional, knowledgeable, experienced and extremely skilled, working high up in the redwood. They did a great job, leaving all trees they worked on looking great and the way we wanted them to look. So much so that we hired them to do more work on other trees on the property, which they just finished and which was done just as expertly as the first job. Their crew was awesome and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree work done. read more

I used Aaron's service for another tree emergency, and he got it done asap without a hitch. He and his crew are super professional, and they were able to make a scary fallen tree situation (with some severe leaners) and turn it into a non-issue in no time! I would highly recommend them. read more

My husband contacted The Tree Man to do quite a bit of work on our property and our neighbors. Fredy came out and gave us a reasonable bid and a convenient appointment time to do the work. They were very conscientious while working at our home but also very careful and respectful of our neighbors. While they were working we noticed other smaller things that needed to be done. They were flexible and gave us an immediate bid and with our approval they did the work. We will be call Fredy again when it's time to trim our trees. We were very impressed. We are in the Country Club area. We would highly recommend this company. read more

The Tree Man team is AMAZING!!! I highly recommend using them. I called and Aaron sent out a crew of 5 people within a day to clear a huge amount of branches from my driveway. The piles of branches were up to 6ft high. I left them to do the work and when I came back my driveway was spotless. Not only did they take care of everything, it went way beyond my expectations to come home to a perfectly clean driveway and not a single branch in sight. I have to say I am rarely blown away any contractor that comes to my house but I was blown away by Aaron's team. Great job guys!!! read more

Over the years since 2000, when we bought our home in Sleepy Hollow, we have used Aaron for all of our tree work. All his employees are respectful, and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with the job. Most importantly, they really know what they're doing......AND....they clean up before they leave. His prices are very reasonable. You are also getting a certified arborist when you hire The Tree Man (Aaron)....so he knows the finer points of tree work. Aaron goes the extra mile...he's the best! Norm and Nuria read more

I hired The Tree Man in November 2020 to remove 5-6 acacia trees growing on the edge of my property. My neighbor had used them in 2019 and had nothing but positive things to say. We signed a contract at the beginning of November, so I expected the trees to be removed within 30 days. At the beginning of December the trees were still there so I reached out. The owner responded and said he'd been hospitalized but would do the job within a week. I told him anytime by the end of December would be fine. The new year (2021) arrives but the removal of the trees still has not. So I reach out again in January and am told their stump grinder broke and due to Covid they're having a hard time getting the blades replaced. On Feb 1st I contacted them, again, and told them if the trees weren't removed by the end of February I'd have to cancel the contract. No reply so I've abrogated my contract with The Tree Man. This is pretty disappointing because while I was given multiple excuses why they never performed the work, at the end they had just sort of given up on even trying. Big disappointment and they wasted nearly five months of my time as well and at the end of it I have to begin the process all over with another service. read more

I cannot recommend Aaron and his business highly enough. From start to finish, I was beyond impressed. I had a large dead tree in my back yard that I'd been putting off dealing with. When a windy weekend came up and dropped a sizeable branch onto my back deck, I knew it was time to get someone out. I called Aaron, left a message, and he called back in less than an hour even though I know he was swamped with work that day due to the wind. He came out, looked at the tree, confirmed my suspicions that it needed to go immediately, and he came with his crew the next day. He gave me an incredibly fair price, and he and his workers did an AMAZING job of not only taking out the tree, but completely cleaning up the area and then some! I came home from work that evening and even my driveway was blown clean of all of the leaves and twigs that had been piling up for weeks. The back yard and deck look fantastic. The Tree Man is professional, courteous, and will do a great job for you. Highly recommended! read more

Roberto and his crew came out yesterday to do a lot of detailed Live Oak, Bay, and Valley Oak tree-top pruning and thinning. We need it done almost every year to open up our views to the bay. They are very friendly and professional to be around and in the way they work. They had no objection to our occasional side-lines supervision telling them which specific tree branches to cut. The clean up afterwards was thorough and they even hauled off some of our old branches we cut off last week. We're really looking forward to working with them again. read more

As others have said, these guys are great. Extremely responsive, and professional, reasonably priced (although tree work is always expensive)! Great team! These guys are fast, efficient, and careful. This is the third time they've cleared big bay trees from our property and each time they worked around the existing garden. The trees were big, and on a very steep hill, and they did a great job. So happy to recommend them! read more

I am in the real estate business and am fairly demanding. I know a good service provider when dealing with a vendor/ supplier and this guy, Aaron, is the real guy who has a passion for his craft and pushes hard to get things done. Not cheap, but, it is tough running a business like his, he gets the work done with minimal fuss and headache. My wife and I have used his services on more than a few occasions and we are very happy. My neighbors have also used his services and are fairly pleased as well. No issues with Aaron, he took care of us! read more

As I just found a tree leaning on my house, my first call goes to Aaron at the Tree Man who did an amazing and very reasonable job removing seven giant eucalyptus from my backyard sometime back. For that job, I called for several bids which ranged drastically in price. It was a very tough job with trees that were fifty feet high and at the back of the lot, requiring that very heavy cuttings be dragged through the garden to the street. Aaron promised that he could move the cuttings without damaging my garden, a promise that seemed impossible to keep. But Aaron was as good as his word. His climber was a sight to behold. All the men were professional and nothing short of amazing. Aaron had a great rapport and management style with his crew. I can't recommend him highly enough. He will always get my first call. read more

Best service, best prices and best workers. Used them multiple times and couldn't be happier.

The owner is super nice and down to earth. Very fair price and very professionally done. You can't go wrong.

Got several quotes from different tree companies in the area, and we chose The Tree Man because the quote was reasonable for the hard to access trees we had on the property. It was also refreshing to be able to speak directly to the man in charge and have him be part of the work process. If I called and reached the voicemail, I got a call right back, not from a secretary but from him. They showed up when he said they would, the trees were trimmed well, and the yard was cleaned up after. Our neighbors were also impressed and hired him to do their trees. We are all returning costumers and are happy to recommend , The Tree Man. read more

I am so glad I found The Tree Man to remove a tree and grind down two big stumps. They did an AMAZING job from beginning to end. And to make things even better their price was one third of one of the "big boys" in Marin. Just call Aaron and know you are in real good hands. Many thanks! read more
