Outstanding! Got a business card from Jorge after witnessing him and his team working across the street on a very large towering Monterrey Cypress. Trimmed and sculpted the tree magnificently. A well-organized friendly team with new vehicles and all kinds of equipment worked hard all day and cleaned up *completely*. My very large backyard Monterrey Pine was handled the same. 5.0 star rating 3/8/2016 I was extremely happy with JC Tree Care and Landscape, from start to finish. After getting three estimates and opinions on what needed to happen with 5 sick trees on my property, I elected to hire JC Tree Care. I felt great about Jorge when we met in person for the estimate, and was pleased that he would go to get the necessary permits too. I really appreciated not having to do that. Every company that came out to inspect the trees agreed that they needed to be cut down. Unfortunately the beetle disease that had started years ago was too severe at this point to save any of the trees. These trees were approx. 60 feet tall. Three trees were between two homes and the other two trees were on a hillside, so it was a tricky job. The phone staff was wonderful and communicated beautifully. Jorge stopped by a couple of times each day to check on the progress and the men doing the job, worked hard each day and made great progress. They tidied up any branches or shavings before leaving each day. I'm not thrilled to have lost these trees, but I am thrilled that the work was done by JC Tree company. They are a Top Notch company and I highly recommend them to anyone needing tree work. *Update 03/15/16* I am posting this favourable review to JC Tree Care's San Rafael location too, so that some of my good neighbors and people in Marin can see what a wonderful job and recommendation I have for the work done by Jorge and his tree crew out of San Rafael! We have previously used other local operations, and while we never had a poor experience, we figured that there was room for improvement. With Jorge and his team, we found something that was a clear notch or two better. Jorge's crew came to my SF home today and took down a 65 foot old tree that needed to go - stump an all! They had to remove a part of the neighbor's fence to get the tree-pieces out, and when they finished, they cleaned up and put the dense back together. I also used them to trip some plum trees. I found JC Trees on yelp, and now am paying it forward. I used to use another tree person - but he had been extremely rude and Undependable - and lucky for me I found. My neighbor and I wanted to remove a large cedar tree in his yard that was blocking our view and dropping into my yard. I had 3 quotes to remove the tree and JC Tree Care was the best by some margin. Jonathan was very professional and courteous as was Quenia in setting up the appointment. When the crew arrived on time on the day, they were all in uniform and ready to work. They were unbelievably efficient, very polite and very clean! The yard was immaculate when they left - they even cleaned the debris out the pool and pruned some neighboring trees to make everything look nice. Jorge and his crew did a fantastic job pruning three palm trees, a 25 foot high hedge alongside a pool and wisteria atop a trellis. They were the neatest and most careful workers I've ever had work at our home from any business. This job presented many challenges, non of which proved too difficult for this crew. They put a tarp over the entire pool for the debris and later cleaned the pool as well as the entire property, leaving it cleaner than when they arrived.
