They are very fast and professional! They came immediately to trim my big tree that was way too overly grown. I was paying my gardener $600-$800 every year to trim this tree obviously it made it grow out even more. The guy said it can cause more growth if you just trim it like that. Which makes sense.. They are licensed and have insurance to perform work with houses with HOA. Now I have less fallout. **SECOND REVIEW** When the big wind came through about a month ago, I called for help at 6:45a as I had great service from them in the past. I large, LARGE, limb had split off my tree. They were at my house in about half hour. And did a fantastic job saved the tree. The cost? Very reasonable. Less than a call-out fee for an appliance!!! While he was here, I asked for a quote on several other trees and Heriberto gave a VERY reasonable quote and then back for a perfect job. They are always so careful to leave things tidy (even picking leaves out of out rocks). So blessed to have found them. read more

Had this Acacia tree growing roughly 15 feet from the side of my home. This caused a nightmare for both my neighbor and myself. Leaves were getting on the roof and clogging the gutters. It was endless sweeping and it was getting tiresly annoying. Imagine the roots beneath the ground? I don't want to even think about it. I've inherited this problem from the previous owner. It had to be dealt with. I took 2 bids on the job and both assured damages to my property would be covered by insurance "if" it were to occur. Also they both explained they would cut with care. It came down to picking one and chose Heriberto. Heriberto has 25 years of experience which reflects on his team doing the work. I honestly was surprised they finished the job within a day. Once again Eddy and his crew came over and totally transformed my 2 1/2 acre lot. It was full of overgrown bushes and trees not to mention all of the dead branches and bamboo . Eddy and the guys spent 4 days trimming,cutting and generally whipping it all into shape. The place looks like a park now . For all that they did, i thought that he gave me a very reasonable price. A week ago today, we had two oversized pines and a palm removed from our front yard and we couldn't be ecstatic with the job that was done! I called five tree companies for estimates so we had a good selection for comparison purposes. URBAN TREE CARE set up an appointment while on the phone for a couple days later. Heriberto, owner and arborist, showed up on time, presented professionalism and extreme knowledge regarding our trees and the job we were requesting. One very noteworthy action that I want to mention when he arrived, he put his face covering on before approaching my husband and I. He was the ONLY tree company representative to do so! Due to the times we currently live in, this showed us how conscientious, responsible and caring their company was. We selected URBAN TREE CARE based on what I've mentioned as well as they had a great price and a full action plan for the job. I also appreciated that they were a small family owned business. They arrived on 9/9/2021 exactly as scheduled, introduced me to his team, and off to work they went. I watched the entire job and Heriberto was like a maestro with his orchestra, giving hand signals and whistling to let his team know where he wanted the large limbs and branches to land below. With precision, they fell exactly as directed. It was amazing to watch! They removed all three trees, chipped the branches and limbs, loaded the large, full trunks into a separate truck and cleaned the entire street and property as if they were never there. The team at Urban Tree were very friendly & you likely could negotiate prices for what you need done. Their admin team is responsive and the field team were efficient and courteous while on the job. So why the 3 stars? Despite their great customer service, this team are not arborist (those with certified knowledge of trees) by any means. Though this is not a bad thing, especially if you just want to cut down a tree.. I highly recommend reaching out to another company with better knowledge of trees. We had them provide an both an assessment & estimate of our acaia trees and they said that we wouldn't need to trim or & prune too much since they won't fall (my primary concern). Obviously, we can't control Mother Nature and this years winter was no exception. Unfortunately, our tree did fall and it's likely due to 1) crazy weather and 2) not the correct type of trimming & pruning they did with it being significantly top heavy. Unfortunately, we ended having to call them out no more than a few months after they did the initial work and were still charged a significant amount to remove the trees they said wouldn't fall. Again, great team to do basic free cut down.. but don't rely on them for assessment of trees. read more
