My service project was a massive Oak tree that was totally overgrown on my property. Since said neighbor wasn't going to take care of HIS tree, I had to take over. The mess it was causing a lot of acorns, leaves, branches to drop on my property driveway......work a 70yo doesn't need. To me, Jose is a man of his word. Got a quote we shook hands and his crew was at my property at 7:30am for a work start at 8am. I consider his quote to be fair. The equipment alone a huge bucket truck to reach at least 50' high and a shredder that handled 6 - 8 " limbs probably could handle even larger ones that I had. This crew knew what they were doing. Found these guys through a referral from my gardner Big Mike. Called and spoke to Jose, he came and looked at the trees the same day and emailed me a proposal later the same day, great response time. They crew showed up on the day they were scheduled (Today) man these guys showed up to work. In total I had 3 trees to take down and one to trim. They knocked it out in just a few hours. I attached before and after of the front yard. I didn't get before of the tree in the back but i took an after, look how clean the yard is. That Redwood tree was about 250 ft tall. And before I forget, the price was super good! I thought it would have been a lot more. I wanted to leave a tall stump because I hang one side of my hammock on it. We already had a couple quotes from different companies and wanted the project to be done asap. When we met Jose, it was a done deal: he was super cool and friendly, extremely knowledgeable, very confident and we could feel how intelligent he was. Jose is a local boy and a trained arborist and that got my husband's respect immediately. Jose went through the property with us, listened to our requests, engaging in giving us his expertise and a quick quote. Both of my husband fell in love with Jose right the way and we both knew he's our guy since he also scheduled for the work within a few days. To me, the deal was sealed when he said he's a 49ers fan. I contacted P & J Tree Service and they came out and looked at our trees. We had huge trees that needed cut as the city wouldn't cut them despite them being on city property because there were wires through them. They provided a quote very timely and detailed and the work was scheduled for the next week. They were very professional and worked hard and quick. Requested a quote and was scheduled a visit in a few days. Walked around and had the best quote compared to a few others that I had talked to. This was a simple job: get rid of some bushes to the roots and clean up. A few hiccups on scheduling, but that is small stuff and nothing to complain about. The crew arrived around 11 AM, and started the work. The whole job took a few hours max, and they cleaned up all the debris that spread into the street as well as front/back yard.
