The communication between the the gentlemen who came out to give me the estimate was terrible. He canceled more than three times, then when I called him, he didn't even know I was on his schedule for that day. The guys who cut down the tree did a good job, although I do wish they would have carried a broom with them because there were a lot of wood chips that didn't get picked up. Ok, so the name "Reasonable Tree Services" is accurate. This company has reasonable prices compared with the competition. They did a great job, worked relatively quickly, and left our yard looking cleaner than it did when they began. There was a bit of a miscommunication regarding one of the trees (we had them doing three trees, involving two locations), which resulted in a small price change from the original quote. Unreliable. Tom gave me a quote for one tree and said he could do the service on Friday. I texted him to give me a quote for a different tree and to do both on Friday. He said Friday is no longer available as he forgot he has grandkids but could do Tuesday. I waited and waited for the second quote and believe we got ghosted as he stopped responding. I decided to give him another chance and called him on Sunday to see if he's still interested. He came over and gave me the other quote and asked to let him know before he schedules his calendar whether Tuesday would work. I texted on Sunday to book us for Tuesday and now all of a sudden Tuesday is no longer available as he said I never turned in a signed contract which he never asked for. We had 11 Italian cypress trees needing trimming and clean up. Tom came by and provided my wife and I a reasonable quote and was very responsive and helpful with our questions. Once we set a date his crew was here on time (even early) and immediately got started on the job which by no means was an easy job! The crew did a great job trimming down the trees in half as requested evenly too which I'm sure isn't easy. They came and removed a eucalyptus tree that we were so sad to see go but was too close to the house (it was knocking the roof during the wind) and topped our out of control oleander along 2 fence lines as well as removed a ton of ivy from our olive tree! I had 3 trees done by Tom's crew. I thought they did a really great job. They cleaned up quickly and didn't leave any mess behind. My Elm had to be trimmed almost down to nothing but Tom explained that the big branch on the right was split and about to fall so that is why they had to trim it back that far. My Maple looks absolutely gorgeous and Tom even showed me a branch that stuck out low above my fence that could've made it easy for someone to hop over. My Olive has by far taken on the greatest transformation, it actually looks like a tree now! All of that being said, the cost was very reasonable as the name of this company suggests. I would have given a 5 star review except that I had to ask one of the guys not to drag branches over my bushes, one guy hung out most the time on my outdoor furniture (this didn't bother me but I feel like it might bother someone else so I am including it) and my garden butterfly and gate are now broken. If I had been told about the butterfly and gate it wouldn't have been a worry for me. The gate just needs a few screws and the butterfly wasn't sentimental. Finding these things after everyone left just soured the experience for me. Even though I'm not giving 5 stars I would still hire Tom again. Somehow his crew trimmed a massive Elm branch that was hanging over my shed and didn't put so much as a scratch on it. Even though my experience wasn't perfect It was still really great. Tom is a very nice person and I look forward to having him come back to eventually remove some Palm trees. read more

Tom and his team did a fabulous job on our silk oak and redwood tree. The silk oak is the messiest tree I have ever seen and our pool is right below it. He topped the tree quite a few feet and left branches at the top so that you're unable to see where he topped it. Incredible. Better work than a very expensive arborist has done with that tree in the past. And half the price of a pricey arborist. Left no messy branches or sticky yellow stuff behind.
