Hired them to take out my redwood tree and they did a fantastic job. They took the tree down quickly and cleaned up the yard.

They were on time, quick and left the area clean of debris. Their receptionist was kind and quick to respond.

Affordable Arborist removed 2 Queen Palms and pruned another one. Candace made scheduling a breeze, Nathan provided a very reasonable quote the same day I called, and the guys cutting the trees were diligent, skilled, and respectful! Do not hesitate to call them for any job; I will use them again! read more

These guys never showed up! Total waste of time and no response by the owner, even after I let him know no one ever showed up, in response to his request asking for payment. I needed to have a small tree stump removed in my backyard that my pool contractor left behind. Received several quotes from other companies and decided to try Affordable Arborist. Had a confirmed appointment on 8/22/25. I even spoke with the office twice that day to check in on status, as it was a very busy day for me - from school pick ups for my kids to coordinating contractors finishing up my backyard pool project. Wanted to ensure I would be here when Affordable Arborist arrived. No one ever showed up. Owner Nathan sent me a text the next day asking about payment. I called to explain no one showed, no answer. He sent me a text asking me to text instead. So I did. Explained the no-show. No response back. Very unprofessional and total disregard of someone else's time. read more

They showed up on time and did everything I asked. Price was reasonable, and they took all the debris away.

Their name is true to itself, VERY affordable. They did an amazing job! We had very overgrown fruit trees and a palm tree. Came out and pruned the trees AND cleaned up the backyard! Will definitely use them again and recommend them for any tree needs! read more

Great service right away and quick response. The price is right but I'm not sure the job was done correctly. I'm not a tree expert but I have had people tell me my tree doesn't look good now that they trimmed and topped it... Would recommend another company next time! But overall great for the price and if you're looking for a simple tree haircut! read more

Came by to advise and quote. Showed up on time and did a nice job. The tree had deadwood due to insects. read more

I called Affordable Arborist to request someone to come by and look at a tree in my yard that I was afraid was diseased. I sent pics and Nathan diagnosed from the pictures - turned out it was simply sunburned. He told me what to do and cancelled the appointment. No charge at all but if we ever need their service in the future I know where we will go! Great service! read more

We inherited an olive tree when we bought our property in Napa. It got way too big for me to handle, so I called Affordable Arborist and got a quote quickly by providing a picture of the tree. They showed up right on time (in the rain) and did a fantastic job. Well done ! My tree has a whole new look, and I couldn't be happier. I will welcome them back again. read more

Great initial impression when doing the quote. Texting and emailing promptly. Came day as expected. Removed tree w no issues. Came back to remove stump and tree roots few days later. Broke 4 pipes. Job was stopped and told that the earth around should be enough for me to cover the hole when the pipes were fixed. Damages are not covered by company, but they are the sole responsibility of the owner. Then, all texting and follow up by phone calls interestingly had delays on response. Finally, owner of company proposed a landscaper to fix the pipes out of my pocket, and unfortunately, this one did not show up on promised day. I had my gardener fixed the 4 pipes 3 days later to found out there were several roots left on both sides of the pipes. Of course, there is always an excuse for not completing the job by saying the removal of the roots is only for the superficial visible ones next to the stump. Furthermore, owner texted me that "we don't dig looking for roots." There was also an issue about my written check. One employee texted me privately that it got wet and I needed to rewrite a new one. Interestingly, the owner was not aware of the incident when I discussed with him about the pipes. I provided feedback to him about better communication between him and his employees. I agree that incidents happened when removal of a stump, yet the lack of good communication and the quality and completion of the job does not qualify this company as professionals regardless how "affordable" can be labelled. read more

Very efficient service, fully satisfied. Called with my issue to have tree branches cleared of the main powerline to my home. The tree branches were cleared within two business days for a very reasonable price. I strongly recommend affordable arborist. I am calling them back in the very near future. Thank you Nate and team! read more

Affordable Arborist was great. We had three trees removed. They came on time and were really efficient. They chipped all the branches and cut the limbs into manageable pieces. Nathan followed up afterwards to make sure we were satisfied. I would definitely recommend. read more

So glad I called these guys. Just needed a couple of trees trimmed back and one removed. They did that beautifully, on time, no hassle, no fuss. In digging up the one tree, they accidentally poked a hole in the irrigation pipe underneath it. They weren't able to repair it that day but returned promptly and fixed it too. (And they weren't even responsible for it, theoretically!) Friendly, helpful service at fair prices. Very pleased. read more

Super responsive - was able to get me on the calendar in less than a week. The guy showed up even earlier than their arrival time, were very friendly and came back when a follow up visit was required! read more

Quick service! On time and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them. Good price too.

Very professional. Great communication. The crew did a good job of trimming trees, digging out large roots, and cleaning up. They missed a tree but the owner was quick to have the crew come back the next day to trim it. Would use again. Thanks! read more

Shopped around for quotes on trimming a 25' Camphor tree for about a week. Called Affordable Arborist and they sent Nate out to give a free estimate within a few hours! He showed up right when he said he would and gave me an affordable price - hence the name of the business. I received an email with an estimate within an hour of Nate's visit and signed it three days later. Again, within a few hours, Candice contacted me to get scheduled and was fortunately able to get something the same week. On the day of the service, Candice let me know that we were able to get an earlier time scheduled. Marcus and his crew were punctual and got to work right away. They brought a bucket truck out to get the higher areas and the sides of the tree where their climber wasn't able to safely trim. They kept a clean work area the entire time throwing branches into the chipper as they worked. Once they finished trimming they made sure to pick up nearly ever twig that fell into my lawn. Thoroughly impressed with all communications, quality of work, and value. Highly recommend you give Affordable Arborist a call for all your tree needs. read more

They responded quickly to my inquiry, the pricing was competitive, and they did what we agreed they would do within three days. I try to provide a marked up photo to show exactly what I'm looking for so there is no misunderstanding. The did a fine job following the guidelines provided on two trees that overhang neighboring properties. Good cleanup and follow thru. Direct communication. read more

Just noticed that my fruit trees were budding out and I knew I was late in getting an arborist out this year. In addition, with all the storms this year, I noticed that there are trees too close and hanging over my roof. It didn't take more than a week to get an estimate and get the job done. Candice was very responsive in the office. Nathan did the estimate and answered all my questions. The quote seemed fair compared to other work I've had done in the past, though I didn't get competitive bids this time due to wanting to get the work completed. The crew arrived on time, Marcus was a very communicative foreman, and everything including super clean-up got done perfectly. Couldn't be happier, and will certainly call them in the future! read more

Highly recommend Affordable Arborist. Got estimates from several companies. Nathan was able to give me a quote virtually rather than scheduling yet another visit, which was really helpful. His team came out the following week and finished the job within an hour. After trimming, the crew thoroughly cleaned up all debris in the yard (most of which was there before the work). Very efficient and job well done. read more

I hired this company to trim back foliage from my house because home insurance required it. these guys were timely, professional and clearly knew what they were about. they cleaned up impeccably and the cost was reasonable and did not exceed the estimate. most impressively, they checked in to see if I was satisfied and I told them there were a few nitpicks from the photos I had sent on to the insurance company. they immediately sent out a crew, fixed the few extra branches and didn't charge a dime. That's a great service, a good honest hardworking group. I was impressed! read more

We used Nathan and his crew to trim 5 mature redwood trees (60 ft) in our backyard. Because the trees border both sides of our rear yard and we have decorative fencing around both sets of trees, I decided to stay home from work to watch the work being done. I could have went to work, they were completely professional. Our yard maintenance guy makes more noise--there was no loud music, yelling and screaming, or even chain saws. In fact, they were so quiet I had to walk outside to make sure they were still working. As for the clean up, they were cleaning as they were cutting so there was really no mess to clean up in our yard (or our neighbors' yards). In case you're wondering about price, at $1,250 they were the middle bid, but much less than the highest bid of $2,450. The trees are amazing, they did an awesome job and we will definitely use them again. read more

Talk about efficient! They came, they cut and they conquered!! Nathan came to asses the tree.He was on time, direct and professional. I thought cutting it in 1/2 would be good, but once they cut half it looked odd to me. His guys took it down just above the stump and all is well with me. I must admit I will only miss that tree because I used it as a "wind indicator " read more
