Emile Marchand came to our home this morning and trimmed our backyard liquid amber trees. He did a great job and was very thorough. All in all, it took about an hour and he cleared the big branches that were growing over our awning and roof. He trimmed the rest of the trees as well and they now look fantastic. We had a tree that was starting to concern us. Mr. Emile reassured us the tree would need to come down eventually but it was perfectly safe for the time being. What a great decision! Emile the owner, called me back within the hour to set an estimate appointment for that same day. He not only gave me the estimate, he also educated me on the this type of tree, a Sumac. After accepting the bid and making an appointment, he was there 10 min early to discuss exactly what he was going to do. Emile and his son who helped him on this job, were very professional and extremely personable. When completed, not only did I have a new tree, which looks amazing, they cleaned the entire area as if they were never there. The first time worked out so well that I called Marchand Tree Service when I needed a very large redwood tree that was quickly dying removed. Emil came out and gave me a good quote. I took a couple other estimates, but because of my previous good experience I called and booked the work with Marchand's. The tree was in a tight location that could've impacted our nice front garden and our neighbor's property, but Emil and his crew carefully, or should I say expertly, dropped each piece for minimal damage. We have large flowering garden shrubs directly below the tree and none of them were touched. And they did a very thorough cleanup, including sawdust that'd drifted onto my neighbor's side. All in all a very well done job! I found Marchand Tree Service through Yelp and based on all the great comments I made the call. Long story short, I met Emil the owner who gave a competitive bid, and advised less of a pruning to our tree than I thought was needed. I contacted Emile Marchand owner of Marchand's Tree Service located in Vacaville for an estimate to trim up a badly neglected queen palm in our front yard and a large overgrown ash in our backyard that had grown six to eight foot beyond our backyard fence into our neighbor's yard. Along with a japanese maple that needed thinning out. Emile arrived when he said he would, conducted a very thorough ground based examination of all trees and supplied me a written estimate with his insurance information on the back. We agreed on a day and time for the work to be completed. The day of, he and his crew of five young able bodied men arrived on time and commenced work. Emile was the climber and the groundsmen removed at a brisk pace the limbs that Emile had fallen for them to haul to the front where a chipper awaited. We called Marchand's Tree Service for help to grind out a large piece of stump and roots from a tree we'd had removed previously by a different company. Emile responded to our request immediately by estimating and providing a written quote the same day. He was able to schedule the work to be done in within 2 days after we accepted his quote.
