They made clean cuts, showed good attention to safety, and clearly have experience working with large, established trees. I also appreciated how thoroughly they cleaned up the area afterward--it was left neat and tidy, which made a big difference. The tree still has a strong structure, and it's clear they focused on reducing weight and maintaining safety, which is important with a tree of this size. The only reason I didn't give a full five-star review is that the pruning was slightly more aggressive than expected, particularly with some of the larger limbs. I would have preferred a more gradual approach to preserve a bit more of the natural canopy and shade. Overall, this is a knowledgeable and hardworking team, and I would absolutely consider using them again with a bit more detailed communication beforehand about the extent of trimming.

He showed up on time, did great work, cleaned up, and his price was competitive. I thought I had someone I could use going forward and refer to others in my community. Last week I called for him to remove two small tree/shrubs. I needed it done within the next few days, and I acknowledged that he might not be able to come on such short notice. He said he could come and I sent him photos of the two small trees along with a 5' palm tree that I was hoping he could add onto the project. He didn't respond to the text, but that was ok because I trusted that he'd come at 8:00 a.m. the next day, as planned. Jose never showed up, and he didn't respond to my phone calls and texts. The voice mail on the other end was in Spanish, and I couldn'tunderstand it. I thought perhaps it was saying something to the effect that someone was sick and they were behind in their work, something that would explain the no-show. No one called or texted. I'm very disappointed, but I will find someone else for my tree work going forward. He can do great work, but only if he shows up. When this kind of thing happens, it's a deal-killer for me.
