I asked some friends if they knew of a reasonable, trustworthy company to have my tree removed. They highly recommend Valley Tree Service. The owner Mauricio responded quickly to my call for an estimate. During the estimate, Mauricio took the time to answer my question and explain my options. This interaction with Mauricio assured me that he is an upstanding businessman through and through. I received the estimate and had no doubt this was the company to choose. My choice was confirmed when his workers did an amazing job! The access to the tree was tricky, however I watched just how careful the 3 guys were. They also maintained friendly, and professional attitudes while working in nearly 100 degree weather! Also I was very impressed with how they completely and carefully cleaned up before they left. I can't say how relieved and blessed I feel by choosing Valley Tree Service to remove the tree, and stump. Thank you so much Mauricio and team for a job very well done! B.Baker read more

Highly recommended. Mauricio and team removed a tree from my front yard due to the roots breaking part of my sprinkler system. Our normal tree trimmer had recently retired, so we received a referral for Valley Tree Service. We needed to get a few of our tall trees in our backyard trimmed, and the way our backyard is setup, it's not easy to get equipment back there. The estimate was very reasonable and Mauricio understood exactly what we needed done. On the day of the job, there seemed to be a scheduling mix-up, and they did not show. While I was worried at first, I called Mauricio and he apologized for the error. He said he would have his crew come out the following day instead - a Saturday, and pretty close to the holidays. They showed up on time and did a fantastic job with the trees. Cleanup was great as well, I don't think any trimmings were left behind. As for the scheduling error - mistakes happen, and Mauricio took responsibility for it and immediately did what he could do make it right, which worked out for us. I appreciate that, and in the end, the works speaks for itself, as we were very pleased with the results. Will happily hire them again in the future. read more

I would highly recommend Valley Tree Service for your next need regarding trees! Pruning, removal, advise. I am very pleased. The team of workers who came to my door could not have been more Personable, knowledgeable, worked well together. They were very respectful of my plants they had to get close to to reach the tree to be cut. And when I asked to have a minute to remove my Garden Angel, I was met with , "Don't worry, we will take care of her for you, " and they did! All clippings, etc. was removed from Yard, street in front of house. When they left you would have not known this work had been done that day. Betty Overstreet read more

We are very satisfied with the service provided by Mauricio and his team. They arrived on time and went right to work. They also cleaned up after themselves, saving me that task. The results are excellent. Our oak trees look lighter and healthier. Mauricio also answered questions I had about other trees in our yard. The cost was worth the results. I would definitely recommend this professional team. read more

Very unprofessional business and I would not recommend to anyone! We woke up to them cutting our neighbors tree down and it was in our yard and scratched up our vehicle. Then when confronted the worker got very upset and tried to fight my husband. The police were called. Sebastian the supervisor came out and refused to give us his proof of insurance when we requested it. They had a boom lift over our other neighbors vehicle and were cutting trees above it. This could have easily been avoided by simply knocking on our door and asking us to move our vehicles. Simple as that. What's happened to customer service in businesses?? read more

I hired them to trim a couple of tall oaks out back, and a Japanese Red Maple and a Japanese LionsHead Maple out front. Jon came with an assistant right on time. I liked that Jon had been the one who gave the estimate, and was the one completing the job. They did a great job and cleaned up well too. He also trimmed up some shrubs and pulled out a dead arborvitae for me. I'm very pleased with their work and would hire again. I found his price reasonable. I don't really like writing reviews for companies that I haven't yet contracted, but here you go. First off, I would like to recommend Valley Tree Service gets a secretary to answer the phones and make a schedule. I called this morning around 09:30 when I saw Valley Tree Service's truck taking down a tree across the street. I thought: "Well shit, my tree could definitely be trimmed!". When the guy answered, I couldn't really tell if he was talking to me or not... He eventually half-ass'd set up an appointment saying he would show up anywhere from 11AM to 1PM to give me a quote on my tree pruning. I was on-call for work and of course got a call around noon to leave my house. I apologized to my employer and said it would have to be after 1PM. So I waited... and waited... then 1:10PM came around, and I had to leave. Upon arriving home around 4PM, there was one guy still at the job across the street. He told me that I had "Just missed the boss"... Really? 3 hours after the latest time you should have been here? Nah, I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Valley Tree service did a excellent job thinning my Sycamore tree. They were very fast & professional. Thank you Mauricio and crew.

I cant say enough great things about these guys. From the get go, receiving a quick response when I texted Mauricio. Totally accommodating. It is possible to get the best for the same cost as someone not as good! However - more than that is the efficiency and focus of the health of what they leave behind. We had a Large Palm Tree removed, Not only did they remove it successfully, but managed to save a beautiful fair size pigmy palm growing right next to it. Taking every precaution around the pigmy - as the Large Palm tree started to disappear.... treating it delicately. These guys treat your property as if its their own, with dedication and care of their imprint on Mother earth.... read more

I just had my overgrown, unhealthy lemon tree "fixed" by Mauricio and his team. It would have needed to be pruned if it had been cared for at all in the 10 years since I bought the house but it needed more than pruning. The team from Valley Tree Service not only took care of this tree, they also pruned and sprayed some others in my yard, provided me with much needed advice and follow up care instructions, and also cleaned up the entire area. I am so happy with the results. They are courteous and professional. Five stars all around. read more

We've used Valley Tree Service several times to trim a tall palm, a yucca and other trees in our back yard. They do a great job: fast, efficient and clean up thoroughly. Plus they bid lower than the competition. Highly recommended. read more

I obtained several estimates before choosing Valley Tree Service. They were the only ones to provide a written estimate and upfront on any problems that might occur during the removal and stumping of the trees. One of the trees was very close to our cement patio so he told me they might not be able to stump the whole thing without damaging the concrete. The crew showed up on time and did a great job. Even managed to stump all three trees without any concrete damage to the patio. Cleaned up everything after the job was done. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone needing tree services. read more

I had a pretty large job that needed to be done in my backyard. I called Mauricio on the recommend from a friend and I was very impressed. He had a quote right on the spot, was very knowledgeable about the trees, and what could be saved etc. His price was very competitive and I was impressed by his crew on the day that they actually did the work. They seemed very diligent in getting my feedback when a couple of branch decisions had to be made, and their clean-up was excellent. I won't need tree service for another few years now, but when I do I will call Mauricio for sure. read more

I have had Valley Tree Service for over a year. I have a lot of trees that have had to come down due to a beetle infestation. His workers were polite, (though last year they almost stripped my peach tree of peaches) this year they cut another tree down and instead of cleaning up the small debris they spread it along the fence line and around my rose bushes. I wasn't too happy over that. All in all they are a great bunch and would have them again. A bit pricey but work is good. Watch your fruit trees though! read more
