Very easy to coordinate an estimate. Competitive pricing (beat out the other company I had used by hundreds of dollars even after giving the other company a chance to discount). Great work. I live on a woodland property with oak and conifers and had the Urban Tree Care team come trim up the dead stuff, bring the canopy up on the oak tree framing our house and take out a dead and very tall conifer tree. They also did a lot of maintenance work on all the trees on the property. I am very happy with the end result. They even took care of a few things that weren't part of the original estimate, just because they wanted everything to look nice. As it turns out, the pearless pear tree Heriberto removed for me back in 2021 wasn't done with me yet. Over the course of the next few years, sprouts sprang up all around where the tree used to be, some over 3 feet tall. Additionally, a seed from the tree caused another pearless pear tree to begin growing in my backyard, bordering my cement patio. I'm convinced that pearless pear trees, or at least this one, are the devil's spawn. I needed some heavy yardwork done anyway, so I called Heriberto and he remembered me, and the pesky tree, and followed through on his word. He and his crew removed all the sprouts, and carefully used a pickaxe to remove the small tree bordering the patio, so it wouldn't be damaged. As for the larger job, the staff again showed up on time, with all the necessary tools to get the job done. They were very professional and hauled all the yard debris away. I think Heriberto understands the unending warfare between me and this devilish tree, and he again offered his personal guarantee to return and remove any sprouts or new trees free of charge. I'm starting to do a pretty expansive renovation of my front and back yards. I like to do a lot of things myself, but cutting down trees and grinding stumps are not in my wheelhouse of things I want to do/learn to do. So, I did what I always do when I'm looking for a service, and I reached out to a few companies on Yelp with what I'm looking for. Enter the barrage of companies looking to give me quotes. I talked to maybe 5 companies and had them provide a quote. The team at Urban Tree Care was able to beat my best-priced quote and had probably the best reviews - it was a no-brainer. I scheduled a time with Lizet over text which was super easy, and we were off to the races. The day of the work shows up, and I was originally told 11am - 2pm arrival time. Get this: they showed up at 11am on the dot!!! In today's world of people not showing entirely, for them to be so punctual confirmed that I made the right choice. I confirmed what I was looking to do (removing and grinding the stumps for a plum tree, a palm tree, and a few misc trees) and let them take the reigns. A few hours later and I look outside, and my yard looks exactly like it did, except for the trees being removed. They cleaned up after themselves very well. I highly recommend Urban Tree Care. The business responded back to my Yelp request promptly and person I was in communication with was nice and professional. Urban Tree Care = Spectacular service and job. So, I met Eddie, the tree contractor of Urban Tree about 2weeks ago. He quoted me at a great deal; a deal I could not resist. I have gotten a few quotes and they were kind of offputting. I had 3 problems: many of the Eucalyptus branches were venturing into both of my neigbor's yard, and the windy nights gave me stress, fearing the branches would collapse onto their yard. The appointment was made swift, quick and simple. I just had to wait 2weeks because I needed to get my neigbor's approval. No need to triple check or call back to confirm email or text. His crew showed up in the early morning when it was raining. I was surprised they went right into it even while it was raining; this is the definition of really good service. No complaints. None of the "oh, its raining, lets reschedule". Eddie was serious. They trimmed exactly how I wanted it. I did not want a complete naked tree. After getting a few estimates, one of which was $2,500, and another one was $1,250 using a 300lb man to climb a 150ft Italian Cypress I found Eddie of Urban Tree Care. His estimate was $950 and he was slender and agile wearing the largest belt buckle touting his champion tree climbing skills. He had no problem doing the job. He also repaired my cypress myrtle tree that had blown over in the wind by restaking it - refusing to charge for it. I needed a quote for my front sycamore tree, which had been trimmed poorly in the past, my neighbor's sycamore which hangs over my driveway, and for removal of a shrub and two stumps ground. The estimates were quick and extremely reasonable and they were flexible about scheduling. The crew was very punctual. I appreciated they didn't use spikes, which I've read can be harmful to trees like sycamores that have very sparse bark. Also, as it turned out, my neighbor had a few extra trees to be removed in her backyard and they were able to accommodate that request the same day for a reasonable price.
