We had a very large Raywood Ash tree (over 50' tall) in our narrow backyard that was a concern for rodents on our roof and breakage during windy days. We also had three barely alive cypress trees that we wanted to remove including stumps. Rudy came by within a day of requesting a quote, carefully and thoroughly looked at each tree then told us how he planned to trim/remove everything. He even told us he would trim some overgrown Pittosporum trees along our fence. When I came home there was no mess and the yard looked so much cleaner and lighter. Rudy and his crew arrived on time today. All were very personable gentlemen with an amicable demeanor. The work required removing a 2' diameter 35' horizontal branch of a large 50'+ height pine tree at mid tree level, that placed excessive weight on one side. The excessive weight would have contributed to an eventual uprooting of the tree at some future date. I estimated the job to take 2-3 hours. Rudy's crew - Edward, Douglas, and Willie knocked it outta the ballpark in just over an hour! Very professional! They raked and cleaned the entire work area. They were also kind enough to slice and dice the larger logs for firewood as well. Rudy's price was more than fair in comparison to several bids obtained prior to. He drafted the agreed bid on Sunday, and managed to get us on calendar for Friday later the same week. We're referring Rudy and his crew to several friends and associates requiring tree service work. I had a neighbor alert me about a large limb on my redwood tree that looked like it was going to fall on our fence. I contacted Rudy's and he came out to have a look. Tried to remove it, but didn't have the tools needed since it was a request for a quote. We scheduled a time for a week later and he even showed up a bit early with his crew. They identified a few other limbs at risk of falling on a couple of other redwood trees. They were done vey quickly and even cut up the branches and put them in my green waste bins.
