They came out and gave a free estimate to remove a 60 foot redwood tree, which, sadly, was planted nearly 50 years ago in honor of my grandmother, but has been encroaching on other peoples yards through its long branches and root system. Super responsive, we had a limb from our tree fall on our neighbors roof and they came out the same day I called and handled removing the limb and limbing a couple other branches that same day. Very competitively priced and they didn't leave a trace. No wood chips or anything. Also, had them trim back a huge redwood at a rental property and they did a fast and amazing job, again at a very affordable price. I won't use anybody else. Well as for tree trimming, I cannot really Yelp this team but I will say that my experience with the group was kind of a different nature. I was seeking some redwood boards to create a pair of planters at my daughters house and found on FB Marketplace an ad for recycled / milled redwood. This wood was recycled from tree work that the company had previously performed. I called and Febronio (owner) answered with a fair and reasonable price for some beautifully milled redwood rough lumber. Since I live on the peninsula, we had to have a meet time which he arranged and was on time. I got to pick the wood and was really impressed with their operation. All beautifully maintained equipment. Trucks, personnel hoists, trailers and loaders and one of the nicest people you would ever want to deal with. Febronio also explained that his staff mills lumber to save it from being wasted through disposal and to keep his crew at work when not performing actual tree trim work. I did return for a second trip to buy more prime redwood lumber and again, nothing but good value, quality product and excellent service. We bought a house with a moderately sized Douglas Fir Tree on the property. Last time I had Benavidez come in was to take down two enormous poplars. So when I had to have a huge leaning mother oak, a dying sequoia... and three other smaller trees with various problems... taken down, I knew who to call. They gave me a reasonable price, did the work over four challenging days because three of the trees were leaning over into various neighbors' property, and cleaned up well. Beware! Look further for reliable service. I had two trees removed in late August 2025. I had thought Febronio was conscientious. Be sure all work is clearly specified in quote. The first thing the workers did was try to get me to allow them to leave the wood from trees. That was not in the agreement. Then I had to ask them to honor another agreed upon item of removing two dead branches on an oak. They just broke the branches instead of making a clean cut. I was promised "free" items, trimming one limb on liquid amber and clearing a small wood pile that were not completed. They hid two large gnarly pieces of euculyptus wood amongst my cut oak wood. They must have run out of room in their truck and thought I couldn't tell oak from euculytus. Everytime I walk past those pieces of wood I'm reminded of my bad experience with Benavidez. They broke off the sprinkler head from a water faucet near one of the trees. I had placed an large orange cone over the facet clearly marking it. I responded to the texts I received from them confirming my appointment with my concerns and never received a response. I suggest you look elsewhere for reliable tree work. read more

Their folks came in with all the right equipment, clearly were well trained, and worked exceptionally well as a team (the crew today was Mike, Victor, and Giovanni). They took down the branch without any further damage to the greenhouse, then chipped the debris as we requested so we can use it as mulch (we also had the options of having them split it for firewood or haul it away). Febronio, Edgar and crew recently removed a number of trees from my hillside backyard. It was a very difficult job that other firms had refused. Access was difficult, all limbs had to be lowered, rather than dropped, to avoid damaging the landscaping below and all remains carried down a steep set of stairs through a narrow access to the street. One oak tree was over 2 feet in diameter, 50 feet tall and leaning off of a hillside. A Bay tree was even larger and covered with a giant tangle of Wisteria. The Benavidez crew did the job in two grueling days, in the rain. The price was reasonable, my garden was not damaged in any way and clean up was superb. Over the two decades I have lived in this house several tree services have done work for me. None did as good a job as Febronio and his crew. None cleaned up as diligently. They will be returning soon to top some trees for me. Febronio and Edgar are local guys with roots in the community. They are honest businessmen with an excellent work ethic.
