My wife was kind of hesitant. Will they do a good job? I told her my gut said they were good. Tree service is not cheap $$$, though. Christer and his crew of 4 came out and took out a couple of big limbs over my roof, removed other limbs entangled with my neighbor's spruce. And then they went all through our 80 year old Eastern Red Oak and made her look GOOD!! Christer's crew went around to my neighbor's yards and gathered up the trimmings. Much appreciated!!! Finished up in just 4 hours, too! Here are pictures of before and after and lit up at night. When they left, my wife turned to me and said "They were top notch from start to finish" Yeah, I can't recommend Timo and Christer too highly. Our tree looks great! read more

A very pleasant experience! We hired Timo regarding a struggling Camphor tree in our yard. From the start, he gave us solid advice on the right type of mulch to use. When he came by in person, he carefully assessed the tree and offered helpful suggestions for its ongoing care. We had already cut some dead branches, and he chipped them on the spot, recommending we reuse the material as mulch to cover the compost around the tree, something we hadn't considered. This is a family run business. Timo, his son, and the crew were all very professional. They showed up on time, respected the landscaping, and skillfully trimmed my huge Valley Oak tree. Timo explained his recommendations and educated me about why and how the tree will respond to the trimming. When they left, the yard was cleaner than when they started. These are power line clearing crews not qualified for tree care. They have little to no knowledge of how to prune trees for health or structure. Any affiliations this company proclaims to hold with Arborist societies should be revoked immediately. i was in shock at the damage perpetrated on my fruiting Orange tree. These buffoons removed all the branches from one side of the tree, no attempt to balance the pruning, preserve shape or structural loading If I had known that I would have personally had to oversee the crews work, and / or instruct them on pruning methodology then I would have personally " babysat" these hacks through the entire "job" (sic) Do yourself a favor and look for a real accomplished and caring tree care service. Leave these guys to clearing roadways ditches where they belong. read more

I was at the property all day & everyone was open to questions, comments. Very safe, very clean, very efficient. My neighbor wanted a few high Redwood limbs cut at the end of day & Timo discussed a price & did the extra ask even though it wasn't priced out ahead of time. Timo and his crew returned after several months to prune my street-side hackberry trees after visiting in May of last year to offer his opinion on their health and well-being free of charge. Timo and crew got to work and quickly got the job done and cleaned up. When I first looked, I could hardly tell they had been pruned, but the beauty of it was, on closer look, that they had been pruned indeed. I learned that a well-pruned tree is a kind of artwork. We noticed many of the leaves on our giant Bay tree had turned brown. Others in the neighborhood had recently discovered their Bay tree to be diseased. Being city folks, we're still learning about the vegetation and the lay of the land around our second home. Timo responded quickly to my phone call and within 2 days, went to check out the tree to see if it did in fact need to be removed. He explained that, while under stress, the crown of the tree seemed very solid and healthy. He recommended that we do not remove the tree, also because it protects our home from flooding (in that its root system helps to maintain the hill upon which it sits). He was very helpful and informative, knowing that our knowledge and understanding of the surrounding vegetation was pretty limited! We used this tree service to remove a declining oak and clean up several other trees nearby. I hired them because they presented well and were available within a few days. Their service was perfunctory at best. They did ok with the tree removal, but I had a hard time seeing what they cleaned up on the other trees - so subtle as to be hardly different. In one cleanup area that was more involved, I thought their technique was amateur, and surprising for professionals. After they were finished cutting, the yard cleanup was awful. We had to go through and rake and use our blower to remove leftover debris. I felt they charged top dollar, but I was willing to pay it if the work had been top rate. I wish I had been present the full time they were there to give feedback. There are better tree companies out there. Would not recommend this company. read more
