I brought in the documentation for my Echo line trimmer Model CDST 58 Volt to see about troubleshooting an odd sound under the Echo 5 Year Warranty. Although I had documentation that it was purchased in a similar Power Products store...not online, not in a back alley the man behind the counter asserted the paperwork I had was "From a Big Box Store" (oh the shame however falsely attributed) AND was a Chinese knock-off. Further he said even if it was "real" it wouldn't be under warranty because it was purchased in 2022. Here are the facts: Purchased at Red Bluff Outdoor Equipment which is decidedly not a Big Box Store. It is not a knock off, and was apparently made in South Carolina. So I'm thinking you should not be so accusatorial. Your job is customer service and rather than to belittle me. Try reading the paperwork which plainly showed the Five Year (consumer) warranty. Reading at 5th grade level should have been a pre-condition of working customer dis-service IMHO. Happily, when I called Red Bluff Outdoor Power Products they volunteered to look at my trimmer and make repairs under warranty if needed. Dude get glasses and an attitude adjustment. We have pets, with some very stubborn stains. I asked David if he charged extra for pet treatment - and he said no, it was a flat rate (which I have never experienced - I usually get charged a hefty fee for having pets). David pre-treated the carpets, and then cleaned the carpets. He does not use harsh detergents, so no residue is left in the carpet. The carpets dried within 3-4 hours and they look brand new. No stains! Yay!! I most definitely would highly recommend David!! Oh, and I forgot to tell you - he places little styrofoam wedges under all the feet of the furniture, which can be removed after the carpet has fully dried. I appreciated the attention to detail!!
