I used to trust this company. A few years ago, I would have recommended them without hesitation,…read morethey were professional, efficient, and did quality work. That's why I called them again when my trees needed trimming. Unfortunately, this is no longer the same business. I had two mature, fruitless mulberry trees in my front yard and a large camphor tree on the side of my home. They were beautiful, well-established, and provided incredible shade, so much so that I barely needed to run my AC in the summer. They simply needed a proper trim. What I got instead was complete butchery. Scheduling was the first red flag. I was told someone would come out within a week or two, it took over a month, and only after multiple follow-up calls. When they finally showed up, it was with little notice: "We're on our way." No real communication, no planning. At first, the crew seemed fine, until I stepped outside and actually looked at what they had done. I was shocked. My trees were hacked down to stubs. Completely disfigured. It was so upsetting I literally cried. To make matters worse, they broke one of my handmade stepping stones. When I mentioned it to the owner, there was no apology, just a casual "a limb must've fallen on it." That alone tells you everything about their level of care and accountability. When I raised concerns about the trees, I was assured they would "look beautiful by spring." I waited before writing this review to give them the benefit of the doubt. It's now spring. The trees still look terrible. Instead of healthy regrowth, they're covered in aggressive suckers shooting up from everywhere--even down toward the base. They look worse than they did immediately after the trimming. I've never seen anything like it. This wasn't just poor workmanship, it was careless, unprofessional, and dismissive. And for this, I was charged thousands of dollars. If you care about your trees, do not hire this company.

I contacted my contractor. Even though the operator was over 30 minutes early (the appointment was confirmed for 11am this morning) the operator was angry that my contractor's guy wasn't here when he arrived (over a half hour early) and called my contractor, who reminded him the appointment was for 11. The operator replied "I'm here now." My contractor told him his guy was just around the corner. He did pull up as the operator left, which was about 10:35 or 10:40, nowhere near 11AM. We kept our appointment time. You arrived a half hour early. You shouldn't get mad and leave because no one is there. You could have come to our door. We would have checked the status. The person to help was here well before 11. Had you cooled your heels you would have been done before then. You've lost this customer, this job, received a bad rating and will not get good recommendations from me or my contractor.

This failure on their part cost me well over $2,000 in crane setup, scheduling lift with multiple sub-contractors on site, equipment delivery to the jobsite, fuel for multiple trucks and trailers and my crews wasted time. I do not recommend this crane company to anyone at all and if i could give them zero stars I would.
