***CONSUMER ALERT/WARNING*** **NOT AN ECHO AUTHORIZED…read moreWARRANTY STATION** Stopped into your store today and here is how I was treated. I brought in the documentation for my Echo line trimmer Model CDST 58 Volt to see about troubleshooting an odd sound under the Echo 5 Year Warranty. Although I had documentation that it was purchased in a similar Power Products store...not online, not in a back alley the man behind the counter asserted the paperwork I had was "From a Big Box Store" (oh the shame however falsely attributed) AND was a Chinese knock-off. Further he said even if it was "real" it wouldn't be under warranty because it was purchased in 2022. Here are the facts: Purchased at Red Bluff Outdoor Equipment which is decidedly not a Big Box Store. It is not a knock off, and was apparently made in South Carolina. So I'm thinking you should not be so accusatorial. Your job is customer service and rather than to belittle me. Try reading the paperwork which plainly showed the Five Year (consumer) warranty. Reading at 5th grade level should have been a pre-condition of working customer dis-service IMHO. Happily, when I called Red Bluff Outdoor Power Products they volunteered to look at my trimmer and make repairs under warranty if needed. Dude get glasses and an attitude adjustment. As they say in South Carolina..."I'll pray for you".

When I told them that I bought a pump for my well he explained that it was probably not going to work and wanted me to buy a more expensive one that they provide without even looking at anything. They also didn't call me back right away. I decided to cancel my services because it sounded shifty and dishonest. I called another company and they came the same day and they were able to fix everything without using my pump I bought. It costed me less than $200.00.

The middle man turned out to be a bit shifty. So when I called David and Sons, they were so nice in explaining everything and took the time to call me back, just to be sure I was in the loop. Last week I called him again due to problems created by the shifty middleman, to ask him questions not even directly related to his work, he took the time again to explain things and then told me if I had any problems to call him again! So very nice. I would also like to add that back in the late 90's my boyfriend (at the time) hired him to drill in Berry Creek, so he has been at this a long time. I will vouch for this company all day long.
