Very happy with TreePro. We had a sickly looking tree in our backyard. I thought the drought was doing a number on it. I had reached out to a few companies via Yelp. Zach was actually the second person to come out and look at the tree. The moment he looked at it, he recognized the tree had "fire blight." He said it wasn't treatable, but it could be managed by trimming it back and removing the visible blight. No other company mentioned the "fire blight." The estimate for the work wasn't the cheapest, but having knowledge of the problem and how to work around it w/o having to cut down a large portion of the tree were positives for me. My job was able to be scheduled w/in a week. When the crew arrived (ahead of schedule to free up my day), they were awesome. They were very professional and trimmed up the tree w/o having to hack most of it down. Their clean up was remarkable. I wouldn't have known they were even there. They even helped me move a heavy box out of my vehicle. These guys were great! I saved Zach's card. When the blight returns, I'll know who to call. read more

I hired them to cut back trees in my backyard to the fence line. When Ross came for the estimate I asked if I needed to remove some leaves in the area. He said no, they would take care of it since the debris of the trees being trimmed had to be removed, and I need not worry. I PAID for the removal of the debris. I even had them put it in the contract & emailed him directly ensuring it was ok. He wrote back stating everything would be taken care of. The day of the work when they arrived they had a picnic lunch in front of my house for about an hour. When they were wrapping it up I went out to inspect and they had not trimmed to the fence line, especially at very top of trees. I asked them to continue until everything was back to the fence line. They weren't happy but knew I was right so they did it. When they were about to leave the second time, I inspected. They hadn't cleaned up all the debris in that area, but had pushed it back in a massive pile against the fence. They got Ross on the phone and the worker handed phone to me. Ross was mad, he tried to tell me that wasn't included and that they were giving me free work. First of all I triple checked with him specifically regarding the cleanup and debris removal and second of all nothing was free. I paid $907.50 for this job to get done. He said he would call me back after he checked the email I had sent him and as I was handing the phone back to the worker and forgetting that the phone was on speaker. I said what an asshole and he heard me and got very very, very mad. He called me back said they would take care of it but that I should be grateful because he gave me stuff for free and that they would never ever ever want to do business with me again that's fine. I would never do business with them again as they did not stick to the agreement and tried to tell me I was getting things for Free and trying. To get away with doing a substandard job. TreePro sent out their arborist, Davis, who patiently answered all our questions and gave us a thorough, well-informed evaluation. I am very impressed with the work of Tree Pro from the initial assessment and estimate to the finished job. I wanted to have a health and fire safety assessment done for some large oaks and smaller trees on my property. I wanted to have an Arborist do the assessment to have a professional opinion of what was necessary. I contacted this company on a Tuesday and the next day Zach, an Arborist came to take a look and give me an estimate. One week later the crew of 4 showed up and got to work. They did an amazing job of thinning, trimming and making sure all the trees were taken care of to fire prevention standards. Zach even had the crew trim a tree hanging over my roof from the neighbors yard at no additional cost that we had not discussed previously. Tree Pro did a careful job of pruning back the limbs of a huge redwood tree in front of my house. The tree is a big threat during winter storms, dropping broken limbs on my garage and driveway making it impassable. When I consulted Ron he suggested shortening a lot of the limbs instead of removing them. The guys doing the work were very careful of my garden which sits under the tree. Fast turnaround to get a quote to remove a dead pine tree and grind down the stump. The guy that came out for the quote was on time and answered all my questions. The price seemed fair, so I booked him without calling any other companies. They were able to fit us in within a three week lead time.The crew got the tree down quickly and cleaned up after themselves. The only small snafu was that the stump grinder broke partway through the job, so they needed to come back on another day to finish. I expected they would contact me to schedule a day, but they never did. Instead I got a bill in the mail for the entire job. I called to complain; they said they would send someone out to finish the job and that we could pay after the entire job was complete. I was quite surprised when on a random Saturday I got a phone call that the stump grinder person was on my street and ready to finish the job. Good thing I happened to be home! So their communication/scheduling could have been a bit better, but overall I'm quite pleased with the result.
